Deephouse Just stay as far away from nyc as u can .... love the collection Jim ... see u on the Whatnot
I believe the DC Elson's Super Heroes comics were sold at airport gift shops. No new material, but it's been debated whether the contents were remaindered comics or ones printed at the same time as those same issues sold through normal distribution.
Dredd's first appearance was in the comic 2000AD issue 2 in March 1977
@@proud_to_be_a_ted this was first US appearance.
The other Who's Who is Dolphin 🥰
In WHO'S WHO I believe the other character is DOLPHIN isn't it?
I have noticed that whenever you show collections I rarely if ever see any DC Horror. I never see Witching Hour, Tales of the Unexpected, House of Mystery and House of Secrets. Are these titles very scarce? I don’t see them much anymore.
ouch , this episode is like looking at my collection.
Hey Jim ... what Do U Want for the GL 201 still need one?
OK, another reason I'm jealous of East Coast collectors: when you buy a collection, mostly it's a healthy & Hearty labor of love with decades of blood, sweat and tears put into it from the seller. I have purchased 3 collections in Chgo over the past 2 years, one from an estate sale... Weak, lame 90s comics from folks who clearly were not lifelong collectors, and the condition is mostly average mid-grade. Each collection I've gotten may have literally a handful of halfway decent items, but most are 90s large print-run Marvel & DC stuff with smatterings of indie comics spread throughout... NOTHING like the longboxes of Silver, Bronze and Copper Age keys that you seem to find. (Luckily I haven't paid much for any of my collections, and was able to resell most of it in ebay lots, so no harm, no foul... BUT STILL! I'd have a coronary event if I got hold of the kind of collections you typically seem to acquire. I have yet to encounter someone in Chgo with a collection that even remotely resembles my own PC. Your finds are INCREDIBLE, Jim. Didn't realize that Modesty Blaise material had been collected into a couple trades. Maybe I should move EAST when I retire.
They only show the good collections. Millions of crappy collections for one good one.
@@Tom8683-r2b - LOL! Got it!
Would definitely love those green lantern, Robin or outsiders but unfortunately Shipping would cost a fortune.
Thanks for sharing your exploration of this collection. This video was a lot of fun!
Nice finds in those boxes! I have that Elvira's House of Mystery, but the one you found is in great condition! I think u will make your money back and then some when you sell off what you don't want vs what you decide to keep! Congratulations!
The final issue of Wrath of the Spectre has a previously unpublished story.
I love when you guys talk about Punisher's low print run rare issues. I got all those for $2 each a year ago. There were a couple of late issues of War Zone or War Journal that I got for $5 each, but I got a LOT of them for $2 each. Great stuff, though!
That Wolverine 88 makes me want to cry. Of all the books in that box to have that happen to ..., unbelievable. Good luck with the press!
And 1st Mr. Bones is actually issue 16, but I'm sure that one is there too.
