Schools rugby in Scotland is in a bad way. Very few schools play it apart from a few boarding schools who are regarded as elite. If the grassroots are weak.........
Scotland have never won the 6 nations!! They won the last "5 nations" but never won the 6 team edition. They stopped winning the moment I started supporting them 😢
I can't say I recognise some of the assertions in the narration. Rugby in Scotland does not have much of a following, between televised 6 nations tournaments. It is a minority sport with an inflated profile, since most others moved to the satellite broadcasters. They fill Murrayfield a couple of times a year, with students, retied solicitors and corporates. It is sustained by a few farmers in the borders and enclaves of professional types around the country. All things considered, they've done remarkably well.
Gregor Townsend 7 Six Nations Barry White in all of them. 2 World Cups as we say in Glasgow MINCE. Franco Smith 2 seasons with Glasgow URC Champions in the second season with the same players Townsend has. It’s not the players it’s the coaching.
Hardly inconsistently if they lose to Ireland. I mean, Ireland is just a better team they are 10 wins in a row against Scotland, and they've beaten them playing well, playing badly playing open, and playing tight. Basically, every type of game you can have over 10 matches. It's unfair on Scotland to say they are inconsistent against Ireland
Scotland are overrated simply because they beat England every year; 2 World Cup group stage exits in a row and not a single 6 nations result better than 3rd, all this with the “greatest Scottish team ever”

Is this a joke? Nobody has noticed that Scotland don't consistently win or play to their potential? Have you ever spoken to a Scotland fan?
Two pro-clubs, what do you expect? There's no strength in depth.
@@galinor7Proportionally speaking that's more pro teams than England has
Scotland needs to be an independent nation again for it to reach its potential.
Haha, who is holding back our potential...and in what?
Would political independence increase the number of players or create new Pro-clubs?
@@galinor7 in time yes.

brother said the scary secret about 5 times
i thought they were going to point out that the Scottish team is full of South Africans!
And some English with a few token Irish on the fringes.
