It's been quite some time since we had one used to make them more before I had the girls for some reason,i like a steak one myself,and the stramed puddings,syrup sponge,choc orange sponge xx

Nice you still make meat puddings, and they look great. So many classic dishes are going away. No one here in the US makes chicken pot pie anymore and it was a staple forever. Lovely roast dinner there with all the sides. Glad to see you are feeling better! Hi from freezing Oregon US. 23 degrees C (-5 F) again. At least the sun is out.
It's not too bad weather wise atm had alot of rain, easing off.
Same here with the steamed puds ,people arent making them,its prob my generation that will be the last to make them xx

Christmas break is lovely but during that week leading up to New Year its so scattered, I need to get order back in my life. Haven't cooked anything different recently but still looking for an old school butterscotch tart recipe with my own shortcrust pastry. Can't stand shop bought pastry cases there's no flavour like you can achieve with butter and lard!! Yeah I know it's not good for you but once in a blue moon you just gotta indulge you know? Any plans for future 'Live' broadcasts?
No haven't done lives in a long time, shut down members and stuff too.
I'm just starting up that buy me a coffee app, I can add photos and stuff on there for People to see etc, seems to be a good app.

I haven’t had one of them steam puddings like you’re doing for years. My mum used to make one every single week whilst she used to make more than one because we were a family at 10 but every single week we all ask for pudding pie.
It's been some time since I made one too, enjoyed it tho, gonna make a steak one next, then the steamed puddings, spotted dick, choc, syrup sponge xx
Lovely meals Hailey I love veg id rather have veg than potatoes on my dinner I said to mum years ago just put me one potato on my dinner she looked puzzled and asked was I on a diet I said the only diet I'm on is see food and eat it I told her to put plenty of veg on my dinner and she always did love fran xxxx

Finally watched this video , eventide I've say down & started to watch it I get interrupted. Anyway finished it. Those steam pies look so nice need to get some suet, they look so full.of filling that's my kind of pie!! Think o told you I bought q of them dishes a few weeks ago especially to make a steam pudding but not made it yet !! But chicken & veg sounds lovely. Yeah when u not well or family not well last thing on your mind is cooking & food bet you were all gagging for that roast dinner which looked delicious as always. I've got no pigs in blankets left from my freezer prep , a few yorkies left & few stuffing balls, but gonna do a roast chicken dinner on Sat or Sun so will get them all used up.
All my prep is used up now so back to keeping the freezer too full and playing tetris lol

4.cups panko
1 1/2 cups dried semolina
1 tbsp black pepper, coarse
2 tbsp sea Salt flakes
2 tbsp dried garlic powder
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp cajun spice
1 tsp mixed herbs
2 tbsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp smoked paprika

Hi Hailey your steam pudding looks great,they don’t seem to sell ready made suet pudding in the shops its a shame they don’t seem to be available anymore.
