Great idea for a deck. I was wanting to make a flying deck for historic brawl and was having trouble getting it to work. I wanted to use Alela, but it seemed kind of meh. I jampacked it with fliers and it wasn't really working. I cut down on a lot of the fliers and went to using more enchantments and artifacts than I was. I didn't even know about the faerie lord that causes gain and drain. Nor did I know about the tribal enchantment that gives you extra card draw. I also substituted some of the fliers with powerful big stompy creatures that I use in basically all of my historic brawl decks when the colour limitation permits it. I think I may have a good blend of big stompy, fliers, enchantments, and artifacts now, because it has been doing quite a bit better. So, thank you for helping me make my flying deck.
there is one tribal sorcery that i would consider that i learned recently that it was on arena "Distant Melody" was shocked cuz its an explosive in a go wide tribe like faeries or slivers (or how i use it, petitioners)
I love davriel. He's my favorite H.Brawl commander amonst the decks i built. My favorite emblem is actually the gain 2 life for each card drawn. My deck likes to pay a ton of life to do things so that emblem is sometimes the only thing that prevents me from killing myself accidentally.
Always pay the six! I love that card, it’s kinda expensive in paper but I learned early on about it and snagged one, great in my RAT deck, cause the changelings are RATS!
I kind of want to build Alela anthems. What good anthems are even on arena tho? Just Flowering and Favorable Winds? Always Watching doesn't really do it.
First off, I have so much respect for you for being a brewer. Net Decking is for unoriginal, derivative, simpletons imo. Idk much about your format, but I brew for Vintage, Pauper, Emporer, and Kitchen Table. I will say, I personally always have a playset of og counterspell and Bolt. They're just such versatile cards there's never a reason not to include them. Especially if your opponents don't expect you to have them Take my advice with a grain of salt, you're obviously smarter and more well versed than me. Otherwise I wouldn't watch you so much. Have a great one!
This deck was a fun brew because I intentionally didn't include a lot of "best cards" so I could have fun with some other picks. It's definitely hard to avoid the auto-includes
Oh look, so cute. She even included this strange Te - faerie... 🙄🤭🤔
I'm glad someone noticed
I died laughing at the "sad little orphan cough" 😂
around 29:00 ish
Same
I'm SICK AND I CAN'T HELP IT
I've had some fun with Alela as a vehicle commander, since the faeries end up being great pilots!
12:57 😀 soundboard! click it over and over again 😊16:11 21:09 21:19 23:08
The first 5 seconds is how dude friends greet each other
It certainly how I greet my dude friends
Alela is also availible in the urza brothers war precon! I recently wona game by flying over infect in commander :)
Wow! I didn't know they reprinted her
25:00 push doesn't say gravity kills, it could be pushing them into a poison cloud or spiked wall

Alela was my first commander coming back to MTG after 10 years. Really fun video, and interesting to see how you built one of my favorites :)

Hiro Protagonist, hahaha. Snowcrash was a fun read. Thank you for the video, Amazonian.
I love Alela. I have a commander deck based around her with a strong artifacts matters theme
Some really great games + plays with this deck; caught some live glad to see them again (when not working hah)

"Its a bird, its a plane, its -teferi- a fairy!"
My mind: *Alela with Teferi's face*

A mono blue tetsuko is a pretty interesting build
thanks for the list Ive been meaning to build a faeries deck and this is a great start
Hey Amy, if you ever have the time, could you try "Samut, Voice of Dissent" Brawl deck? I don't think you've ever done it. Great work as always :)
I love Brawl Stars - the stream starts at 11pm here so I don't get to watch it often.
I try to record a few episodes a week! Glad you enjoyed them
@@AmazonianThank you so much for the content, these episodes are great and make my return home from university so much more enjoyable!
Smooth exactsies after the Crux in game 1 : )

There's plenty of good three mana ones too
Omg yes! I love Alela so much!
I ran kindred discovery faire deck on eldraine draft. It was awsome
How about a Rankle, Master of Pranks deck. I haven’t seen one of those in a while.
Its a bird, its a plane, its Teferi?
Thx for the video!
I would apreciate if you played a Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive deck!
I had one ages ago - I would probably go for Rigo or Krydle instead
@@Amazonian more colors, more fun!
