Biggest issues with Cormani was buying into the hype thinking he has already made it, bad attitude, not understanding that he was behind Travis and is supposed to learn. His time was coming but he did not have a professional attitude. The media and his family also hyped him too much saying that he needs to start NOW. He did not want to become a professional all round however just play around and play football.
I remember someone in a chat in another platform actually arguing that Cormani was better than Travis when Cormani hadn’t even suited up at Colorado and we had already seen Travis play at Jackson.
For a lot of young men who act like this kid, it’s already too late by the time they hit this age. @@Tubefish07 He's going to be flipping burgers in a few years if he's not careful. Nothing wrong with flipping burgers but from where he was, No. 1 to McDonald's is a pretty hard fall.
I don’t think he’ll even be able to get a job flipping burgers. He seems to be exhibiting some mental issues. I say this with the genuine hope that he ends up being ok.
He was already in the program. His MOM was the problem, real talk. She was hyping her kid up too much instead of letting Travis build the defense to give space for Cormani. Imagine Cormani on one end and TH on the other? Teams would have to run the ball all game. But Cormani's Mom was listening to her friends and thinking HER BABY needs to be on the field. That's really what happened, I'm telling you. I know sports Moms because I used to be a coach that had to tell parents to RELAX and we'll work the kids in. One kid, I had to pull him from QB and make him do something else because he was always BLAMING OTHERS when he did a bad pass or whatever. His energy wasn't right. His Dad stopped coming to the games and then the Mom used to bring him because the DAD was all pissed his son wasn't the QB on my team. I told him why: the QB is the energy of the offense. Parents need to relax and let the teams put the kids where they need to be, WHEN they need to be there.
So that kid trusted his mom over Coach Prime, a 2 time Super Bowl champion and Travis Hunter an experienced player who is one of the best players in all of D1? I don’t know if his mom was the most to blame or him! I love my mom but I wouldn’t put her football knowledge up against a 2 time Super Bowl champion…
@@josebrown5961 Exactly! They didn't trust the process. The process was everything Prime and TH was telling him. He wasn't listening. The ONLY person he was listening to was his Mom, I'm betting on. And she was wanting her son to shine ALREADY like he was in high school. So many parents live thru their kids, and the kids end up getting a bad deal not being able to live their own timeline without that parental intervention at the WRONG TIMES!
Had nothing to do with his parents.. he can’t get out of his way… you think his mom is the reason he’s late to practice and not working out.. no that’s him
NO, Mom was NOt the problem. He was. Stop trying to put blame on everyone else, but him. He didnt show up for class, do his work, be on time, have a team mentality, appreciate what you had. Instead, he hid in bathroom, smoked weed, disrespected Coach and coaches, his teammates, CU, etc. etc. Badmouthed them in public to boot. Ok. now he has his chance with a REAL team,,,,,,and he still isnt doing what he needs to do , so he doesnt play. Maybe he just isnt cut out for this , and should look for another career path. Travis has a future wife, makes perfect grades, puts in the work. It isnt rocket science. Coach P will help him personally, because thats who he is, but, C needs to stay where he is and put in the work. He may not be good enough.....That is the reality....Mom didnt do the things C did. He is where he is because of himself. Shine where you are.

Nah we not doing that here.. cormani didn't go to classes , showed poor work ethic in practices. Yes his mom put a hype train on him. But her knowledge in football ain't coach primes level . Cormani needs to take accountability for himself
I think the first mistake was letting him have the jersey #1. Cormani did nothing to earn that number, even after Coach Prime made a big deal of it in his first year. Now, there is no way Cormani could go back to Colorado. Cormani unfortunately became a cancer at Colorado. What has he done to earn his way back? Coach Prime is not going to willingly let a cancer back into the locker room now, particularly since the team is bonding and starting to excel on the field. Matt is right - people are moving on and starting to forget about Cormani.

Cormani took out his frustrations of not having his father in his life on Coach Prime who's taken on a 'father figure' to all the young ones in his program (father in their lives or not), and didn't deserve the disrespect Cormani showed towards him and what his vision for The Program was. I grew up with a father and mother in our household. My male friends in our neighborhood weren't so lucky to have their dads in their lives, but my dad treated them like they were my brothers and members of our family. They respected him and loved him for that compassion, help, nurturing, representing and guidance he gave to them. Cormani has some soul searching to do, and I'm not quite sure he's at the end of his journey in doing that, but we'll see. Also, these 'YOUNGINS' don't have any respect for 'The Greats' of our era to respect what they've contributed to the sport they're aspiring to be a part of seriously. Just look at Anthony Edwards and how he has the arrogance to fix his mouth to downplay the impact MICHAEL JORDAN had on NBA Basketball? Anthony Edwards got his 'Wake Up Call' on that mess he vomited out of his mouth, so let that be a lesson for Cormani. Don't write the kid off, but give him some time to discover the errors in his way and get his 'ish together if he's serious about the game.
If it was any other team it wouldnt be an issue but it was Colorado. Being a former highly coveted player and leaving the way he did would definitely stir up some media attention. The problem is that he wasn't aware enough to think that through, and thinking things through seems to be his problem in general. To be fair I didnt think anything through when i was his age so i can't really criticize, but with amount of money in college football these days players have to carry themselves like professionals.
💜Let’s talk about how his mother disrespected COACH Prime and the whole staff and she and her som disrespected Coach prime, family and staff globally and ain’t no coming back from that. Him and his mother need to stay right there in Florida and sweat it out.😂 That boy will not change even if he was going back to Colorado. He needs to stay in Florida with his mother and do better. SMH. He was getting paid over 20.000 each month I heard and had all kinds of money and opportunities coming his way because of COACH prime and when he left, he ain’t getting nothing now and no playing time. And remember Coach prime gave him a WHOLE YEAR TO GET HIS ACT TO TOGETHER and HE STILL WAS DISRESPECTFUL AND CURSING FOLKS OUT AND STAY HIGH. He needs to stay where he is. COACH PRIME HAS SO MANY RECRUITS THAT ARE MUCH BETTER AS A PLAYER THAN THE KID AND LESS PROBLEMATIC. He is not being missed trust me.
Its crazy a lot of people think that you shouldnt have to follow rules and put in hard work in the class room, film room, football field a n d life ....etc.
This young man has a lot of growing up to do. He is not an SEC, Big 10, ACC, or Big 12 prospect. This young man should return to his local college and seek a try out. I question if he will ever play major college football again. He will be lucky if he ever plays any type of football again.
I think you are right, unfortunately. C just doesnt do the tasks that he needs to do. It isnt rocket science, folks. He knows. He has plenty of role models..He knows.
You can tell because he can not talk at all. Look into that fact. Maybe he made it through because of his athletic ability. CP needs to be humble and look into that problem that young kid may have.
His Mom needs to step back the young man, has no discipline, doesnt take responsibility for his own bad decisions, and thought he was entitled because of his high school success. News Flash alot of HS players are successful now you begin again college level You gotta put in the work first. Cormani you Seriously need to call and email Coach Prime and the Colorado Program and apologize. Maybe ask for another chance it's the right thing to do showing humility and a willingness to start fresh 🙏🏽
Id say, if he went on social media and made a heart felt apology witnessed by the world, then yes id bring him back with a short list to follow. The problem is, I’m not to sure this kids got a heart and would be humble enough to man up. Verdicts out
The type of man Deion is, he would take him back. He's knows the importance of second chances and saving young men. He wants the best for him still. I think Prime would take him back and should
Shedeur said last week that he does not forgive and since Cormani disrespected Coach Prime and the Buff program saying they play for clicks, there is no way Shedeur is going to stand by and watch Cormani make a clown of his father. Shedeur loves his dad and wears his heart on his sleeve. If Coach Prime brought Cormani back, Shedeur and Shilo would both be in jail for battery.
Coach Prime would talk to him and motivate him to be a better person, but with so many young men out there who want and will appreciate the opportunity, Coach Prime wouldn’t take him back. Coach prime and the staff did from what we saw a lot to help Cormani. Hell, I would like to see Bishop Thomas still with the team, he was one of Prime’s favorite, but the standard is the standard.

Coach Prime is man of loyalty and trust. The man made his statement since day 1 that "moment you leave to the transfer portal there's no going back" and he stand by that statement. This kid doesn't follow CU core principals and he just want to go back because CU is decent this year and florida is shit. If I was coach prime I would tell him "good luck" and not reply to him again.
Nah, he can stay in the swamp! Now, I don't have a problem with Cormani at Colorado games. I'm sure he has buddies on the squad. The other week, he had a Colorado jersey on pointing at his back.
Dylan Edwards is probably the only player worth a damn I'll accept back. He would have to work twice as hard, put him behind Charlie O for a few games to let him know. Cormani on the otherhand? I'm not sure about his overall athleticism to be a corner. Maybe safety, but Cormani comes with a lot of distractions, and he's lazy. He, Dawson, and Gaines were distractions last year. Their negativity is part of the reason why Prime lost the locker room. It's not a hard no, but it would take some serious injuries at DB and late in the summer to bring back Cormani.
Yeah, I saw the picture with his jersey and was confused by it. But now, this is two weeks in a row that he is posting something related to Colorado football. I think he's having some regrets.
@AmySue280 Oh yeah, I think he was trolled out of CU. Every damn video, interview, or post. Where's Cormani? Why ain't Cormani playing Prime? Cormani not being coached or used correctly. On top of lack of drive or work ethic.
It hurts, really hurts, but..nah!! Prime can't. Sometimes, you gotta live with the choice you made. "The Best and Toughest Teacher you'll ever know is LIFE"
Every kid,man deserves a second chance. He fucked alot but he a young kid trying to discover himself give him a chance he would be great second time around i believe fuck what the haters say.He was a number 1 recruit that can make a difference.
C may have the talent, but it takes MORE than talent to succeed. Coach never should have given him No. 1. He NEVER earned it...Deion just wanted to encourage him and went overboard. Hurt the buffs, big time. Work it out where you are, C.....Still pulling for you....Dont be Johnny Manziel.
At this point, I just feel bad for the guy. He obviously has maturity issues, and he's struggling. It's a shame. Complete waste of talent. I think Prime might take him back because he genuinely cares about the kids, but he'd be on a very short leash. Screw up once, and you're gone permanently.
My sentiments are very similar and I think he will too. But no slack will be there, as it should be... I mean if he farts and the wind carries it the wrong way, you're gone...

Instead, he hid in bathroom, smoked weed,
disrespected Coach and coaches, his teammates, CU, etc.
@phyllisloforti3015 Who raised him? What are parents for? To pop out kids and claim em on taxes? No. The whole situation starts at home.
5:09 Oh no I recognized him at the game I was there and he was in my session but he was like in the bottom that I barely can see him I saw him there in person I’m like why tf he doing here 😂
I wouldn't take him back all it takes is one bad apple to poison the whole bunch, that negative energy isn't needed. this kid was making 20k a month and had a full scholarship.
If that's true, he's an idiot and need to not be anywhere near that program.....
The grass is so brown on the other side! 😂
Two quotes for life Hard work beats talent when talent don’t work hard. Undisciplined boys become undisciplined men.
I'm 50-50 on this one. Maybe he has learned some valuable lessons. And if anyone is gonna give him a 2nd chance it would be coach Prime

Deion Sanders tried to mentor him, but he spit in Deion's face. He made his bed, so now he's got to lie in it!
His mother be talking stuff about prime
Wait a minute !!, no sir !!, being fatherless isn’t tough !!, where did that come from ?????, u don’t get to use that nonsense as an excuse !!
Nah we not doing that here.. cormani didn't go to classes , showed poor work ethic in practices. Yes his mom put a hype train on him. But her knowledge in football ain't coach primes level . Cormani needs to take accountability for himself

Need to worry about getting his CDL’s
MattBeDiddy!!!! Great drop!!
@@Shelly_R Fact is, he didn’t want it. Deion made him wear it. He wanted #7.
@@kaizersozzay9259well he wasn’t gonna get it from Cam Silmon-Craig who earned the number. If Cormani would’ve came early like Dylan Edwards did last year he could’ve fought for that.
@@tcincali9642 You seriously believe that they “fought” for their numbers? 🤦🏽♂️😂 That was so he could give his guys their numbers that the returning players already had.
@@kaizersozzay9259 when they “fought”for their numbers some of the first players to get their numbers was Trevor Woods from the 1-11 team and Jimmy Horn Jr. who transferred from South Florida
@@tcincali9642 The first people to get their numbers were Shedeur, Travis, and Shilo. They had them before he even met the team. Shilo, wasn’t even on the team or even enrolled in school during the “fight”. Yet, he was #21. Keep believing that they had to “earn” their numbers. Everyone got the numbers they wanted and the only thing they had to do to get them was be a Deion guy.
I’m so glad he chose not to come to Miami
Hell naw. Mean what you say and say what you mean! This boy would be a cancer to the locker room
Matt bro was saying exactly what your saying about being on that field. He talented he should be out there but him himself got it this way. Ppl deserve to turn around and learn my guy. Thanks for the great content..
Would love to get your thoughts on Army & Navy.
Not just their performance, but also the fact that don't have access to the transfer portal, NIL, etc.

You speaking all facts 💯💯
what you gone say now?🤣🤣
Cormani took out his frustrations of not having his father in his life on Coach Prime who's taken on a 'father figure' to all the young ones in his program (father in their lives or not), and didn't deserve the disrespect Cormani showed towards him and what his vision for The Program was.
Don't write the kid off, but give him some time to discover the errors in his way and get his 'ish together if he's serious about the game.
i dont see the problem with him going to the game, he’s watching football like everyone else
That’s the problem. Thats all he’s doing is watching like we are. He should be playing but he’s not.
his team playing them this weekend and he cant be there
If it was any other team it wouldnt be an issue but it was Colorado.
HERE’S an issue that MANY people are not talking about, that I think #Cormani MAY have a drug problem & a problem LEARNING in school.
Distinct possibilities especially in the classroom. But he could have gotten tutors at CU.
NO doubt. His grades have always been bad. No one forces you to drink or do drugs. There is help.
You can tell because he can not talk at all. Look into that fact. Maybe he made it through because of his athletic ability. CP needs to be humble and look into that problem that young kid may have.
I think he went to the game because he thought maybe they would lose!
His Mom needs to step back the young man, has no discipline, doesnt take responsibility for his own bad decisions, and thought he was entitled because of his high school success. News Flash alot of HS players are successful now you begin again college level
You gotta put in the work first. Cormani you Seriously need to call and email Coach Prime and the Colorado Program and apologize. Maybe ask for another chance it's the right thing to do showing humility and a willingness to start fresh 🙏🏽
I really respect your narration. Great
Id say, if he went on social media and made a heart felt apology witnessed by the world, then yes id bring him back with a short list to follow. The problem is, I’m not to sure this kids got a heart and would be humble enough to man up. Verdicts out
Oh my goodness, I did not know he went to Florida as a walk on that is so crazy
Talk yo shit King, I love it❤️❤️

If Cormani humbled himself, actually got serious abt school and practice, and apologized…Coach prime would take him back. That’s just the kinda guy he is fr (Shadeur talks abt it all the time, Coach Prime forgives)
His parents is a reflection of his poor decisions. Unless he doesn’t listen. My son is 16 and he doesn’t listen to anything until it’s too late and find out his way wasn’t the way

Won’t be surprised because Coach Prime is a player’s coach! Now, I’m sure there won’t be any wiggle room for nonsense!
Cormani situation literally reminds me of the Dominican dude from the movie Coach Carter, he pissed off and bad mouth the coach, he came around later and the coach gave him hell to break down in order for him to come back. He ended on the team again but it wasn’t easy
Yes only because his teammates wanted him back and that’s only reason

Also, there’s no way the players and coaches would welcome him back with open arms, esp since they’re stacked with great CBs and it’d ruin the chemistry !! Prime is a very forgiving person and wants to see Cormani succeed. But I don’t know if he will be able to return to Colorado.
What buddies? What Colorado player is gonna be buddies with a guy who can’t get in the weight room or attend meetings?
Yeah, I saw the picture with his jersey and was confused by it. But now, this is two weeks in a row that he is posting something related to Colorado football. I think he's having some regrets.
@AmySue280 Oh yeah, I think he was trolled out of CU. Every damn video, interview, or post. Where's Cormani? Why ain't Cormani playing Prime? Cormani not being coached or used correctly. On top of lack of drive or work ethic.
FSU game at home had lots of kids and adults in CU jerseys. Son in law was there and noticed . FSU having a rough start....maybe a rough year.
It hurts, really hurts, but..nah!! Prime can't. Sometimes, you gotta live with the choice you made. "The Best and Toughest Teacher you'll ever know is LIFE"

Never take him back. He quit on coach prime.
He does have a second chance
He's at Florida
C may have the talent, but it takes MORE than talent to succeed. Coach never should have given him No. 1. He NEVER earned it...Deion just wanted to encourage him and went overboard. Hurt the buffs, big time. Work it out where you are, C.....Still pulling for you....Dont be Johnny Manziel.
Mattbegreat just need to put that Colorado hat on!!!
Nope
