I'm not that familiar with TNO, but is there a part of the storyline where the Nazis get thrown out of power and democracy is restored in Germany, along with the nation learning about the atrocities created by Hitler and his successors?
In the mod there is a democratic reform path you can take by playing Albert Speer and allowing the Gang of Four to basically turn him into their puppet to bring down the nazi regime. Speer doesn’t truly want to end nazism but make a pragmatic regime to keep nazism thriving into the 21st century while the gang of four (helmut schmidt, Ludwig Erhard, Kurt Georg Kiesinger and Henning Von Tresckow) can strip him of being in power in name only are are actually the ones running the show.
