    South India achieved economic growth with less population compared to North India. Above example within India. Likewise Europe and other developed counties!

    One thing India doesn’t need is population growth

    • @aosaeanor
      @aosaeanor 17 днів тому

      Not needed esp as the excess population bulge is in the low / no income & education strata of people. If India's growing population was largely in the skilled, educated & capable of earning n spending category of people then that would work in favour of India's economy & fuel it's growth

    India is already the most populous nation in the world. AI and new technologies have been destroying jobs by replacing the human workforce. Climate change has destroyed agriculture and water sources. There will be civil disobedience in the Indian model and violence by civilians who have adopted a foreign culture if food, water, and jobs are not available. Therefore, if experts believe that climate change, AI, Robotics, and new technologies are not a threat, a population policy that supports growth on a religious basis is suggested.
    India has a peculiar problem. To resolve the problem, India should maintain population numbers based on religion, including at the village level. A community has declared that by 2047, it will establish religious rule by increasing its population. Indian experience proves that when different religious populations increase, there is communal unrest.

    India needs highly Skilled population, not big population, even countries like Japan have declining population but they are advanced bcoz they use robotics and automation for menial work

    Even if north India goes through population degrowth for 4 to 5 decades, it won’t have any impact.

    Rajan thinks outside the box, but still could think outside the outer box. US is not a good example for maintaining a young population. India should develop artificial wombs so that women can spend more time working instead of sitting at home during late stages of pregnancy

      There was a novel written by Aldous Huxley 'Brave New World' way back in late 1930's abt mass-produced humans when at that point human eggs being fertilized in labs was in all probability not even a thought .
      The novel talks abt a similar dystopian society like what you have commented.
