- Harley Benton PB-50 FR Vintage Bass review. I'm really really impressed by this bass. It costs only 111 euro (from Thomann), before shipping they made the setup and when I get it delivered the action was perfect (it loads D'Addario strings) and the bass was perfectly in tune!!! I haven't found any kind of defect on this bass, more over it sounds punchy and fat as should sound a P50 bass. Great sustain and intonation as well. Of course I love the look as well. I highly recommend to get one, you won't regret!

Can't believe it is so good for that price! Got it yesterday and I can't put it away.
Just had to tighten some screws, tune it up and play.
The back of my neck is totally full of birdseye. A lot of squier parts, love it!

I bought one and put new pots on and a Lyndsey fralin pickup it did not need it but I hard ordered it before the bass came , flat wounds and apart from the neck being a little too fat its a great bass for the money

Hey Alberto. I have three HB bass reviews on my channel. I noticed on your bass just as mine when you dig it, it gets dirty and slightly distorts. I thought it had to do with the pickups being too strong for the preamp but it happens on the passive basses too. So it seems to be a design flaw with the Roswell pickups themselves. What are your thoughts?

Ho un Harley Benton MB 4 che suona benissimo, ma ha un manico decisamente grosso.. Questo bellissimo basso, a tuo parere, è adatto ad un punk/rock n’roll bello veloce? Esteticamente è stupendo.. di solito, per mia preferenza, suono a plettro.. se rende lo ordino subito! Grazie e.. bel video!

Spaventoso..l'ho suonato quasi 2 ore di seguito!!!! E' davvero un ottimo basso..Non capisco come facciano a vendere un prodotto di questo livello ad un prezzo cosi basso..Ok,non e' paragonabile ad un Fender ma la qualita' qui non manca di certo!!!!! 😉😉😉😉

Premetto che posseggo già un buon musicman, volevo prendere un basso cheap per sperimentare un po', magari montargli corde grosse per fare cose post-hardcore. Consigli l'acquisto di questo basso a questo fine?

I got this bass and my action at the 12th fret is like 4.5 mm, its my first bass but surely thats very high? The strings start out low and as
they go up the neck they go what seems like really high. Also the pickups catch these really odd frequencies if I do anything more than
the lightest of pluck.
I would check the neck it might need adjusted.
Got one ,i think you have to adjust the trussrod + put a shim ,i set the low E to 2 mm,i put a shim under the neck (there was already a little wood shim from the factory,but wasn't enough) ,with the shim i can set the saddles for the strings not touch the pickups poles (making pluck sounds) and i got a quite low action
Find you local guitar store and have them set it up if they don’t do set ups they surely will be able to recommend someone who can. If it’s your 1st bass than I don’t recommend you doing it yourself. You have plenty time to learn the instrument I think you are doing the right thing by starting at the beginning. Get a great is set up and start your musical journey.
Wow this bass sounds like a proper P bass,no need to get a Fender,really for this price this bass is sick.

Beware, it's very microphonic though. If you're recording in front of speakers, the pickup will pick up the sound from the speakers. Also a lot of finger noise goes through.
