This is one bad ass Tree Service. I did three work for almost 30 years I never had this kind of equipment. But I did have a good crew at one time stay safe God bless
Oh wow I work on powerline clearance for more than 10 years and it’s so rare to get nice functional equipment This tree service looks way more professional
Wow that was some very impressive access! In addition to entering 36" standard gates, it's equally impressive & beneficial being able to drive the lift though tight pathways like you did here, prior to entering through the gate. Simple solutions for difficult access! Keep up the great videos, we love these!
Been waiting a long time for it .. seems like your able to handle those big oaks no problem with it sure beats climbing!! Especially all these dead ash trees were dealing with
I am contemplating the purchase of a lift but not sure which size. The trees here in North Texas are not that big but the side reach maybe beneficial. Any thoughts?
We have the 60hd and the 83hd. Get the 60hd it's way cheaper and easier to operate, we only use the 83 when a tree is to tell to rig a top safely at 60ft which is rare. The side reach is not a reason to buy the 83hd, the height is, its much larger so you can't get as close to buildings so your side reach is really that much better. Additionally the 60 HD is way easier to operate and better for trim work.
Also the 60hd has proven to be more reliable, and more forgiving with operator errors, it's also way easier to find a spot to set up, and can go places the 83 just can't due to the extra length and extreme low ground clearance with the tracks in.
Call all access equipment order a 60hd, with a aluminum basket, the fiberglass bucket is a joke, and tell them Christiansen tree service in Nebraska sent you. You won't regret it it's a game changer, it pays for itself In a year.
Gotta love when people wait till the tree is ultra dead and brittle to call a tree guy. ( not saying these people did, but it does look dead) . Funny how we all seem to tie a running bowline a little different, but it comes out the same.
No difference I've roped em dead alive the sap up and the sap down I cut it just as big either way the technology in this new genaration of rope its unreal how strong it is the a running bow in it and hinge a fire truck out of the top of that oak lol
@@jonathanwyatt6069 Yea, I have lowered thousands of huge limbs and chunks, I just notice, the longer wood has been dead/ rotten, the lighter it is, and the lighter it is, the less the rope stretches, for the same size piece of wood. Maybe this doesn't occur in your area, who knows?

Still like the machine? I’m thinking of buying the 72. Heard a lot of mixed reviews about their reliability.
What made you move up to the 92 from the 83?

@@loganchristiansen4182 why don't you like the fiberglass basket? I feel like this would be better for working around wires.

What kind of knot is that?
Tree work isn’t for everyone, only the strong survive 💪😎🖕🏻
That's a lot of weight swinging around on a rope while you're 50-feet in the air on top of a reticulated steel 4x4
I think this is one of the biggest oaks I’ve ever sen!
This guy works
How do you tie that knot?
Careful mate the dead branches sometime can be deadly!!
How much the machine cost
150k
Wow you guys do good work
Thanks for you responding
Love ur video's brother

Were can get one

LOVE THAT SPIDER.
Thanks bro
Quercus rubra ?
Quercus palustris
I really like you showed lift set up. I wasn't sure it was going to fit throw that fence. No problem though.
self employed It’s a great machine all I need is 36 inches to fit through the gates
Bet that rope would have stretched thinner, if the wood had some moisture/ life in it.

Does the guy cutting only have one hand?
Jonathan bueltel What are you talking about?
@@thetreeguy7387 only has one hand on his chainsaw while he is cutting
It’s a top handle ,climbing saw u only use one hand
Been climbing trees 30 yrs, cutting 1 handed, and overhead. Never even had a close call. If you can't do it, don't climb.
I love osha regs, worried about every breath you take, but going up a dead ass tree in the wind, no rules about that.
Tell the damn rope guy to give it some slack while your cutting
Let er run!
1300 bucks?
You'd be basically volunteering at that price. That looks like a $3-4.5k tree right there.
@4.0gpa44 would anyone climb this sort of tree and dismantle it that way? If so would it cost more or less than this method?
😎💯💪
