In this video I take you though a week in my life! From Sunday through Thursday, I take you through our regular weekday activities in what turned out to be a pretty jam packed week as we had a family outing, celebrated Lunar New Year just for fun after learning about it in our Homeschool studies, and had a snow storm!!! We had a great week with lots of fun adventures together and I am so happy to share it with you!

I loved this video. I am a grandma of 4 home schooled kids, who live far away from me. I am in Canada, they are in South Carolina. Every Thursday morning I do one hour of home schooling with them on facetime. I teach Dutch, and they are getting so good at this. I have gotten a whole new level of respect for home schooling! You are doing a great job, and love following you!

“Mommy’s not a trash can!” Haha! The amount of times I’ve said that. We live in IL and got so much snow! Possibly more tonight. The kids LOVE it… I’m ready for spring/summer! 😂 Hope morning sickness gets better soon!
Lol I’m glad I’m not the only one who has that problem! I laugh at my kids because they will literally walk by the trash can to hand me a wrapper lol But I guess it’s better than leaving it out on the table

The snow shots are super cute. Here in Toronto we've had several feet of snow for many weeks and I'm tired of it but seeing the obvious joy that they have cavorting in the snow is GREAT!
We so rarely get snow that it’s a huge treat :)

The beauty of your homeschool is that your children are already seeing the beauty in nature, in its many guises. They have wonder and curiosity in their hearts. My little Iris is the same.
@@catherinenunan3584 I firmly believe that one of the best things my parents did for me when I was growing up was take us camping often. We didn’t go to Disneyland or vacations like that, we went out in nature and explored and enjoyed. I’m working to give my children that gift too. It gave me such an appreciation for so much.

I love when you leave in the kids talking to you and your responses❤. I had a dad that killed himself when i was one and an abusive mother who was struggling to live and was bitter. So our interactions were mostly to leave her alone and stop bothering her😢. I am trying to model the mothering I wanted❤
I have arfid and past anorexia. Fake teeth, small dry mouth and trouble swallowing….. i watch your videos when I eat to help distract me to be calm and finish my food. Butternut squash, gf bread with ghee, raisins, quinoa stars right now❤❤❤

They’ll literally walk by the trash to hand me their trash sometime lol but I guess it beats leaving it on the table lol

Winter is my favorite season❄️❄️❄️❄️☃️🏂⛷️🏔️. I miss it😢. In montana most hate it but its gorgeous and full of great childhood memories for me❤❤
Since Jerusalem got snow this year, Texas should be able to come through with snow. It looks like a winter wonderland. The dog seems to love it.

If you haven't encountered it, may I recommend The Wheel On The School? That book, set in the Netherlands, was more impactful than I realized when we first encountered it in our homeschool. Key principle: after you've looked everywhere that it could possibly be, look everywhere that it couldn't possibly be.
Because the children work together, build greater understanding of differences, and work cooperatively with their community, I think that you would really enjoy it.

I love snow days! We live in the south and get snow occasionally and everything shuts down. I’m from the Midwest so I just laugh. This was such a lovely and calming video. Cherish your time with your little ones and it goes so quickly. Your children are so sweet and you can see how much you love them. I’ve had a week or two of nothing but stress so I might binge watch some of your happy videos so I can feel ok. G-d and have a wonderful Shabbat with your family tomorrow evening.😊😊😊

I like that you protect the kids privacy. Your youngest has a perfect head and great helping hands. All the kids are great. I like that family time is truly together time not 4 people doing 4 different things. I'm in my late 50's and still like flashlights, my winter hat has a light.
I am happy it warmed up to 35 and I am going outside. The sun is warm.
Bella is loving it, winter snow and ice can be beautiful.

Oh man that morning sickness! I had it from 6-24 weeks and as a thin but healthy 5’9 i lost 15lbs instead of gaining😮. Then in my pregnancy i gained a total of 28lbs at the end. I probably should have pushed my dr to help me more
Awwww puzzles are the best! I love ravensburger 1000 peices because it fits on my table but a huge puzzle would be neat🧩🧩🧩🧩

My ex is from Dallas, and the year we met, Dallas had a major winter storm, and people were still trying to get to work, school etc. Videos showed people sliding and falling because of the ice. Being Canadian, I kind of giggled because up here, we know not to walk on ice! 🙃

I absolutely love your videos!!! And how beautiful were those frozen trees!! I’m in Louisiana (southern) and I completely understand the excitement of a snow! We only get snow about every 10 years or so, and it’s usually a very small amount but everything shuts down for it and it’s a total “snow party”! Lol with all 1.5” of it!! 🤣🤣⛄️☃️

Love your videos. I had morning sickness all 9 months with both my pregnancies. The struggle is real. Sips of Coke and saltine crackers helped me. I had to get on anti nausea medicine by the last few weeks. Praying it gets better for you!

Hi Chana, Great to see all of you enjoying the snow. When we had snow here in Jerusalem, (a couple weeks ago) the weathermen tell us exactly when it will start snowing. They start with closing the schools/office workers finished at 3.00pm. They said snow will start later at night and they wanted all cars off the roads. Yes, Jerusalem had Snow! Cold!! But everyone loves the day off here!! I see even though you might not be book learning with your kids at certain times, what you are teaching them by going out and watching snow, ice, is just as important. Hope you guys enjoyed.. Bread and cookies, and the meals looked so yummy! Blessings from Israel!

Well snow days rarely happen in the south and everyone deserves a snow day now and then!! It is good to see the children playing outside and using their imagination. We had some cold days but thankfully we dodged a bullet as Memphis had an ice storm. Today it is sunny and in the 60s!! Loved watching yall celebrate Chinese New Year....the food looked delicious!
It’s about 70 here today! Cracks me up how fast the weather can change around here :)
How cute was principal Bella laying next to the table during outdoors homeschool. I have family friends in the Dallas area who thankfully got through the snowrmageddon that was winter Feb 2021 and the ice storm last week. So glad all of you got through everything. Your Lunar New Year celebration looked like it was super fun.

We had snow come through last week it was great everything comes to a stop. I just hunkered in and watched it was beautiful now its melting and not so pretty.
Ours is melted here already but our backyard was a muddy mess there for a bit lol I have doggie footprints all over my house still no matter how often I mop 😂

To tell you the truth, I'm Jewish and was told a long time ago we are not suppose to do that which I always thought was weird especially when you see how Hannuka has "become " like Christmas and having a Hannuka sock up on a mantle.

So glad you enjoyed! About the Chinese New Year, we didn’t celebrate it exactly as it’s supposed to be celebrated. We used it as a learning tool because we have been learning about it in school. So we discussed how the foods were symbolic as at some of our holidays and enjoyed the experience :)

I need a new notebook for keeping my church sermon notes things. I haven't found the right one yet though. I had lots of fun today too. I can't do puzzles. No patience, and my eyes. I went through my desk the other day. I have tons of stationary and I found more stamps too. I'll try to write you. My nephew loves puzzles. He's 3 and 1/2 and can-do adult puzzles.
