There are and were some fantastic talented regional writers. John Ehle wrote some excellent novels of pioneering and road building in the North Carolina mountains. He wrote just a well and interestingly as any author. I think every region must have a favorite. I will have to try We. I may have recommended these before. Empire of the Sun by Ballard and To the North Sea by Dickey. These two are fascinating character studies of broken minds. Thanks for the video.
