Boy the tears are rolling from those three comments. I am definitely ordering a pill box from the woman in the Ukraine. They all put our lives in perspective. And your tip to the two truck driver is heartwarming. I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself because my car died today and since it’s Saturday no one is open. I live in a very small town and everything is closed on Saturday. So I have to call the mechanic on Monday and see if I can get it fixed. I’m not celebrating Christmas until Friday and I have to travel three hours to get there. So I’m worried I either won’t have my car back because of the holiday or I won’t be able to get a rental. But it should be ok. The dealership where I take the car has an Enterprise rental car so I should be good I hope. I just need to see my family so we can visit and celebrate. I don’t get to see them that often. So I would appreciate any prayers or good thoughts you can send so I can get this whole thing figured out. Merry Merry Christmas to you and all your followers and have a great holiday ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas sweet friend! I am saying prayers that your car will be repaired quickly and you will see your family. I can tell from your words you need to see them and feel that love and joy. I just know you will get there! Please take care and have a wonderful holiday!!! Susan & Desi
On Solstice night of darkness, your video shines Light. Susan, you look so lovely in your Christmas sweater and Desi looks great in his red sweater. Your kindness is such a gift…truly inspiring. Enjoy all the Festivities of the season. 🎄🎅🎉
I don't know where Desi came from, but what a hoot-I love that little guy!!! He's a gift not only to you but to all of us! Merry Christmas, Susan, and Desi!!
Susan, I can't find a way to leave a comment, so I'm leaving a reply here because she talks about Desi. I hope you see this... 🤷🏼♀️ My year has been so up and down. My brother and I were supposed to go to Italy but he had to have his hips replaced and that didn't go so well. My knees need to be replaced. So we have had to postpone our trip indefinitely. I fell 3 times during the summer and hurt myself each time. Then, at the end of October I lost my sweet little Gingi. She was a sweet little blonde Yorkie, my companion and best friend. 😢. Gingi and Desi have always reminded me a lot of each other. Things are looking up. I'm getting a new puppy on Monday! Susan, keep doing what you do, because you are making a difference! Merry Christmas to you and your sweet, silly little Desi! Much love! ❤️🤍💚
@@cherylniday5821So sorry for your loss, and congratulations on your new fur baby! I lost my sweet little Wylie Sept 18th, suddenly, and was devastated. I ended up with a new puppy 3 weeks later. With my chronic health issues, it was way too soon. But, we are finding our groove and have bonded. It took a long time to do that this time. Good thoughts are being sent to you! 🙏🌹🐶🦴
@@cherylniday5821 I’m so sorry for your loss ! One day you’ll meet Gingi in heaven , I believe! Until then may your new fur friend bring you love and joy . 🙏❤️😊
Do you know the story of how Susan came to Desi's rescue? If not, ask her. They saved each other and it's a tearjerker with such a wonderful ending! She has a heart of gold as does Desi!
I miss the Christmas when my parents, my brother and I all got together with aunts, uncles, and cousins at my grandparent’s home on Christmas Eve for a delicious meal and presents for everyone! Now my moma and daddy, grandparents, uncles, and an aunt are no longer with us. We all have our own traditions now, but I always remember those big family gatherings and celebrations! Merry Christmas everyone!🎄
Merry Christmas to you. I remember the similar special family gatherings. A life time ago now. Everyone is gone for me also.. You wish you could go back to those special Christmas's. Enjoy your coming Christmas and make new special memories. Happy day to you.
Oh, how I do relate to this. All the Aunts and Uncle’s passed on. My dad being the last a year ago. My cousins all moved on and away. We are down 7 …. And no children! I love the other 6 ferociously, but I so so so miss everyone. The noise, the cramped surroundings, their voices. Bittersweet time of year now. Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year to all of you 😘
Merry Christmas to you and Desi.. I'm excited for 2025. It's going to be a challenging year but I'm up for the challenge. I'm going back to college and finishing my degree at 65. Better late then never. I have been married for 43 years, raised my children, helped raise my grandchildren and retired from a auto plant. So now, it's my turn to do something for me. Enjoy your holiday! ❤❤
My aunt decided to become an attorney at 65. Another friend had been a homemaker all her life, and at 65 went to school and became a teacher. She worked until she was almost 100. Why not?!! Best of luck to you!
@sandragmcalister3308. Thank you so much for your post...it made me cry. My mother had so many struggles in her life, most of which I didn't know about or understand until she was over 60. She was widowed after my stepfather died and I was single with mostly grown children. In the ensuing years we became close friends and when we talked I learned many things she had not been able to talk about until then. When I was 52 I went to school for a career change to medical imaging. She helped me with finances and I worked harder than I ever had to make her both proud and glad she had been able to help me. I will never ever forget her astonishment when I received the Outstanding Student Award upon grading with honors. She had graduated from high school at 15 yrs old and started working in San Francisco. She was still working into her early 70's. She is a shining light for me in what is otherwise a family lacking in care for each other. Her birthday was Dec.10, 1925. I miss her dearly still.
I love that! Yes, Christmas is a wonderful time because of the many hours of planning and work that mothers put into making it so. My mother was a child, one of five, during the awful years of the Great Depression. Her father was a blacksmith and her mother was a “ practical “ nurse. I think that meant she worked nursing sick people on an individual basis, not in a hospital. All to make ends meet. Christmas in my mother’s household was mostly stockings filled with fruit and nuts . This was typical of the times, so they didn’t feel deprived. But, when she had children of her own, well, Momma went into action. God bless her for making something wonderful out of Christmas , for us.
I’m 74 and became the “mother” of my 4 siblings at age 15 after mother died tragically from a poorly done surgery. My father deserted us. So…we raised ourselves together. my older brother was 21, so we could stay together (legally). I have provided the “glue” for my family. The home, the holiday celebrations, the care taking. I’ve done it with such love and sense of responsibility to each of them. You see….we had no parents. This video and comments is inspiring me to “carry on”. I feel tired, not ill but the usual challenges of aging. I keep wanting someone else to step in and provide the holiday celebration. BUT this video has set me straight. My life has been filled with tremendous love and respect from all of my siblings. I am blessed. I was given the honor of being the matriarch. It has made my life full. Viewing my special place in my family fills my heart. My holiday celebrations will continue. ❤ Merry Christmas
@@bethreisman8869 God bless you for doing everything you did to keep your family together. We all recognize that what you did is amazing. When you look around at the totally irresponsible messed up adults we see on the news , it is obvious you were very mature for your age. And your older brother also deserves our respect. What I would suggest is that you ask for everyone to bring a dish. Whether or not they make it from scratch or buy it from Cracker Barrel, it will be fine. No ned to remind them that you have done the whole thing all your life, just let them know that from now on it truly will be a family dinner for any of the holidays. They will soon begin to have a new appreciation for what it takes to put a big dinner on the table. The expense does not need to be all yours, nor does the work. You hug those boys and girls and make them feel like they are so special. All will be fine.
Animals are so healing and so distracting from grief. This year I lost my dad and my only son. The pain is immense. Seeing Desi singing actually makes me laugh; I can't help it. He really puts his heart and soul into it. I have a cat who needs attention all the time. He is more like a dog. He is keeping me going. Have a happy Christmas and joyous New Year x
I am so sorry for your losses. My mother passed a year ago and I just was told a few months ago. It just doesn't feel like Christmas this year. I'm very glad you have a fur baby you love that loves you too. Sending love and prayers from "The friend you now have."
Blessings to you dearest! Cats are mystical creatures. Your kitty can sense your broken spirit and may want to be near to help you heal. Sending you hope, virtual hugs and healing prayers!
All alone and sad. But, not anymore. Watching this video brought me tears of sadness, loneliness and finally tears of joy when I watched you and Desie sing Jingle Bells. I laughed and smiled until I realized that I’m not alone, I have many friends on UA-cam and each of them are special beyond belief! Thank y’all, God Bless and Merry Christmas to everyone. Love you all!🙏🏻🎄❤️🎄🙏🏻
I'm laughing as usual at your ending with Desi. Have a very happy Christmas. Thanks for all you share with us though out the year Susan. You are a gentle and sweet soul. I'm so glad you get to spend your days in your beautiful, warm home.
I am having a very difficult year taking care of both my elderly parents who suddenly seemed to falter and weaken. I am soon to be 67, and did not anticipate this unrelenting drama of two parents desperately depending on me for everything, all the while being angry at me and life for being so needy. Mom has dementia and Dad has a serious heart condition…both have been living with me until mom went into a home. I have been so tired, neglecting my own needs (it’s what I do), and basically not feeling any Christmas spirit this year. I am in tears after watching your video because listening to your gentle voice and your words of wisdom, along with your beautiful filming, I have gotten my spirit back. I recently lost 2 of my best women friends and a man I was with for many years. You feel like a dear friend, and your video has touched my ♥️. I have a renewed outlook, and I will approach the coming few days with a grateful heart. Thank you so much for being an inspiration to me and so many others.
I will say prayers everything will work out for you...you have such a beautiful heart...please, take care of yourself. The world needs more wonderful caring women like you...A very Merry Christmas, Susan & Desi
Carer is such a hard time. I send you so much love, courage and hugs to hang onto when you feel helpless. I know where you are as after my husband has passed away last year I am now continuing to care for my son on my own. Its tough on the heart, as you want to cure them, but you can't. It is just out of your hands. You can only be there for them and I know that means the world to them. Look after yourself and have a Merry Christmas.
Love the stories you told us from all your beautiful followers. Two years ago my neighbour was left alone by her husband and after 48 years of marriage she didn’t see it coming. She was alone on New Year’s Eve. I went to her and said oh no you are coming with us. She gave me a big smile and came to us with her little dog and stayed until the morning and talked , eat and had lot’s of champagne, we had a toast on the next year and now she is doing fine, living with her daughter and is happy again ❤ Merry Christmas Susan, Desi and to all your followers 🎄
I think about the Ukrainian people a lot. They’ve endured that horrible war for almost three years now and it’s just heart wrenching. They don’t have water, fuel fur heat, food, safe shelter; their homes and apartments are being bombed regularly and it’s so sad. And so many young men and innocent civilians dead, too. I sit every day and wonder for all the good things I have around me; a beautiful home that I can decorate the way I want; good food, peaceful surroundings, heat, electric and water supply and many amenities. That’s what Christmas is about. Being grateful for what we HAVE rather than what we DON’T have!
❤❤❤❤ Thank you for your support for Ukraine!!! I am proud of you, because not many people want to speak about! I think that they are afraid…. Thank you again and Happy Christmas ❤❤❤❤❤
Susan, as I watch another poignant video of yours on this Solstice night, I wanted to thank you for turning my heart around. I’m surviving from and am healing from a very emotionally abusive relationship. I have been doing all the Christmas things, decorating, making cookies, buying gifts searching for the spirit. But, watching your video tonight, I realized why I couldn’t find it is because I’m smiling on the outside but inside the hurt and anger at all the unnecessary pain I lived through has put me on a defensive road of hardness and feeling bitter. I was shocked at the realization because didn’t realize it. I’m not that kind of person. I’m usually a gentle and jubilant person. It broke my heart and opened my eyes. You saved me tonight from a future I don’t want to have. After a lot of tears and a long conversation with God, I turned a healing corner tonight. Tonight of all nights, the celebration of the return of the light. I found my light with your help, Christmas angel. Merry Christmas to you and Desi. Bless you, friend, and thanks.❤🎄
I dont usually comment. I felt inspired to share how much your videos have helped me sort thru so many feelings and gain perspective. Your bare bones honesty is refreshing
Service Industry Person here... God bless you for giving that guy that fat tip girl. God will bless you for doing that. You are such a precious soul. Merry Christmas Susan.
Just goes to show how our comments matter doesn’t it. We type away wondering if anyone else will read them and sometimes what we write matters to someone. That’s why hurtful comments matter and you have to take responsibility when you write them. Susan you’re a beautiful person inside and out……thank you for all your wonderful videos you give us all throughout the year. Your input really helps and matters to soooo many people. You work hard for us and although we help each other n this Chanel we wouldn’t be able to but for you and Desi. He makes everyone’s week when he sings and makes his appearances. Thank God for both of you. Merry Christmas 🌸🌲
Oh, you are so sweet and you made me cry. You words are very improtant to me...and to others as well. So many of the gals here I don't think realize how precious thier words are to so many. I hope you have a wonderful happy Christmas this year. I appreciate you so much for being here...much love to you and yours, Susan & Singing Desi
Merry Christmas to you and Desi . You contribute so much joy and encouragement to all of us throughout the year. Love and best wishes for the new year.🙏💓
I can’t thank you enough Susan for your posts, I have come to look forward to them so much. You help me see that I’m not alone and there is so much to appreciate about life. I just love Desi and his singing it brings such joy to my heart. He is a special guy. Have a merry Christmas you bring joy to so many. Blessings to you my UA-cam friend.
Every day I pray for peace in the Ukraine and Israel. I agree we all need peace. Merry Christmas to you and Desi and thank you so much for the smiles! 😊
Thank you Susan. This holiday season has been rough. I got laid off from my job last month and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to survive. I'm not sure I have enough to retire, but getting another job at my age (65) will be a challenge. Your videos give me positivity and hope, and I truly appreciate you for it. Merry Christmas to you and everyone else in this wonderful community!
@@SarahRenz59 How frughtfuk this must be! I am so thankful for our social security system in Germany which would secure a small income. I hope there is sime help for you simewhere and a new job, that is to your liking. You're in my prayers. Have a beautiful Christmas with only happy thoughts!
Nothing brings me more joy that hearing sweet Desi sing! The stories of the three women were so touching. I ordered a pillbox for myself to support Anastasia in the Ukraine. May the change of power in our country aide in bringing peace to hers. Wishing all a Merry Christmas.
Hi Susan. - Right as the crisis in the Ukraine was building up, I had bought a lovely throw pillow cover from a gal in Poland (on Etsy) as she too was being affected by the situation. When I opened the package, she had add a small beautiful lace doily she had made. It was her way of letting me know that she was okay. it was so touching, like the pill box you received. - Back then, I noticed that there were many artisans from the Ukraine who sold their wares on Etsy. (They art work is BEAUTIFUL). What I also noticed is that the people of the Ukraine were VERY self-sufficient through their artistic talents. It saddened me to know that their lives were displaced, but you have shown me that they are making a come back. Anywhoos, Your Christmas tree is just beautiful! It's truly cozy and heart warming. You, like the artisans in the Ukraine, are truly resilient. Lastly, You and Desi are a hoot! Watching him sing with you is just so much fun. It brought a smile to me, that I much needed upon finalizing this day. May you have a safe, blessed Merry Christmas.
Ah thank you so much for being here! I loved what you said about the artisans being resilient! It is hard to know so many are suffering...we rest when we can but we never give up the fight for what is right! I hope you have a wonderful happy Christmas this year. I appreciate you so much for being here...much love to you and yours, Susan & Singing Desi
I did the same thing - I had bought a stained glass bird (a Brown Thrasher) from a Ukrainian seller on Etsy just before the invasion. It was beautiful, and I immediately ordered a female Cardinal but the order was cancelled because they all had to leave to go to a bomb shelter. Their shop was in a town right near the Russian border. Months later they were back home and I ordered the Cardinal again, and I also ordered more stained glass from a seller in Kiev. I encourage people to buy stained glass pieces from Ukraine. They take longer to arrive (mine each took a month or more) but the quality is so good and the pieces are worth the wait. I love to support the people in Ukraine.
My mom loved you too Susan! We would talk about how much we love your videos. This video was touching on so many levels. It is amazing how simple things can make such an impact. When Mom was sick with cancer last year, she insisted that I pick up several food trays for the nurses. When I went to the grocery store to pick up all of the food, I told the woman how beautiful the food looked and explained who it was going to. I started to cry and she hugged me like we were family. She asked Mom's name so she could pray for her. I needed that hug and the prayers and I will never forget her. While Mom was sick, we had some of our most beautiful moments together. We both love birds, and I sat and read a bird book to her about different types of birds. I will never forget her sweet smile she gave me while I was reading to her. Christmas won't ever be the same without Mom. She was the candle that lit the room for us. The best way I know to honor Mom is to make Christmas special for our family. I love you Susan and I hope that you will have a beautiful Christmas with your family. xoxo
I needed this video Susan, this year has been a hard one my husband of 53 years was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer so after 44 rounds of radiation and hormone therapy he completed just two weeks ago, I was feeling so hopeful, I decorated my home, bought special Christmas gifts and was looking forward to a blessed Christmas, but fate had a different plan, I took a bad fall last week, and ended up going to hospital ( my first ambulance ride) I have a broken shoulder and arm on my dominant arm, it’s so painful and I can’t do anything for myself, my poor husband is now taking care of me, he is still recovering himself. I have been feeling sorry for myself, and worrying about him, but this video snapped me out of it…. I’ll just count our blessings instead. Merry Christmas to you, and Desi, and loved ones xo
Oh Susan, I so look forward to your video every week ! You make me smile, you make me cry, you make me happy! And your little dog Desi is so special! I'm so glad you have him❤️🤗🎄 Have a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Susan, you and Desi singing gets me every time❣️ I lost my dogs this year and it brought tears to my eyes. I’m so happy that you have a wonderful home and companion, that you are warm and well fed and your family is close by.
What Joy just seeing Desi rally sing. It just made me really smile. Susan, my dear Brother died on Tuesday. Seven months to the day my Mum died. But this with my poor Brother has been far harder. My Dad and I are having the most awful time. I loved your warm video today, and am going to watch it again and again. Thankyou ❤ Love to you and Desi and everyone on this channel xxx
Oh my, dearest Desi, you may me laugh till tears flowed. I just adore your singing. Thank you Susan for another wonderful video. May you and Desi enjoy your Christmas and a very healthy happy new year to you. ❤️💕
Merry Christmas Susan and Desi and all who visit here. What a blessing it is for the gift of eternal life that came from the life of the Christmas Baby. May that lift us up, push us onward, and dry our tears. God bless us-every one well said from Tiny Tim.🎄🎄🎄
What a beautiful video Susan. You bring light to all our lives. I cried during those letters, especially the last one as it hit home to when it was just me and my son as almost three months old, living in a small one bedroom apt and no family close by… but what a blessing and those ladies experienced joy from that young family. That Ukraine young woman so brave, artistic and that pill box beautiful… the truck driver so thankful and first thought his children. Thank you Susan for sharing. I had an accident in my kitchen on Tuesday and burned my left hand pretty badly all for the sake of a good cup of coffee that never got to have… recovering now but first and a part is 2nd degree burn. Thankfully by son and daughter in law live about 45 minutes drive away. I spent two days there before coming home and left my dog with them to give me time to heal a bit. Your video helped brighten my night and just fills my heart with thanks and gratitude. Merry Christmas to you and Desi and all your followers. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗😘🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Always look forward to your videos. I know that Christmas can be a very hard time for some people and we really need to take inventory of the blessings we have. I was born in a small coal mining town in Eastern Ky. but I was one of the blessed ones because my family owned a grocery store and we were spoiled. My husband was from that same town and his father was a Coal miner. My husband shared what his life was like and how on Christmas they looked so forward to candy and fruit and how excited he was to get a cap gun. He said he felt so rich. I. Share this because we need to take the time to realize all though I was spoiled I know that little cap gun meant more to my husband than all the things I got. It is not how much you get under the tree that makes us happy it is the joy of feeling blessed. I know he felt like he owned the world and was so rich. He grew up from that little boy and put himself though collage and helped his sister through collage. He mad a teacher and the kids loved him. When he recognized. The need of a student what ever it was he was there for them. Cancer took him at a young age but that little boy with the cap gun made such a difference in people’s lives. He taught 4 th grade and they named the school gym for him and put a bronze plaque on the wall. That little boy from a coal mining town touched more lives in such a short time than most people do in a life time. I was blessed to be called his wife. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
What a lovely memory that you shared of your husband. It is true that in those days the smallest things meant so much. I believe people of that age, just were more grateful than this world generation with so much plenty, now, so many take so much for granted. My father used to tell us about the day at school he got his first pencil and his parents bought him a pair of shoes, that he would tie the laces and wear over his shoulder, only wearing them when he got to school, so they wouldn't wear out. Yet he felt so excited and rich to have both. Blessings to you for reminding me of my fathers stories he would tell, as it brought his love to me..
Thank you for your weekly videos. They always bring me such joy. I have been thinking today about my friend who just found out that she’s no longer in remission from her Stage 4 cancer. We were hugging and crying together this morning. We are reminded that each moment is precious and should be cherished. Pick up the phone and call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Write a letter. Be there for the people you love. Life is fleeting. Merry Christmas Susan and Desi…and everyone who reads this. 🎄❄️🎅
Susan you hit the nail on the head...our woes are so small compared to those in the war zones! That's why we love you cause you bring us back to reality!Merriest of Christmases with your family!❤
With tears in my eyes I send you this text. This video was so touching can I related to it on so many levels. My mom was dying just a year ago and she died right after Christmas. But at Christmas I was able to sit next to her in the hospital and hold her hand and hug her and now I can't and I miss her so deeply. Your videos bring me so much joy. And at the end when you and Desi were singing I went from a hearty laugh to bursting into tears. Thank you, you are such a blessing to me in my life.
OHHH, I am hugging you now. My husband died a week before Christmas, it was the toughest Christmas to get through in my life without him, I felt so numb. I know the loss what you are feeling, as I am missing him so again. The holidays i think will always be hardest as you miss those you loved so much. Blessings to you.
Such a heartwarming video, Susan. Love all your great Christmas finds. Merry Christmas to you and sweet, adorable Desi and your family. Sending love from sunny Florida ❤
Susan Thank You for the love and light you bring to me and all the lovely ladies here! I am not alone this year after visiting with you! ♥️♥️♥️ Merry Christmas to You and Desi! 🎄🎄☃️☃️🎄🎄
Oh, you are so sweet!!! I hope you have a wonderful happy Christmas this year. I appreciate you so much for being here...much love to you and yours, Susan & Singing Desi
You are so right about our words influencing others, for good or bad. After hearing your tradition of tipping the waitress I came up with a new tradition for this and future Christmases. We filled out five holiday cards and inserted $20 in each one. My husband personalized them with our first names and wrote "You are loved". We are handing them out to people on the streets asking for money. Thank you for your channel!
Another cozy evening with friends. I can’t tell you what joy it brings me to watch you and Desi sing. He’s such a good sport with all his accessories. You are truly blessed. Merry Christmas!❤🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
It's 10.30 am Christmas Eve morning here in Adelaide, South Australia. Preparations for this evening's celebrations with my daughter and her family done, sitting here and watching your Christmas message listening to Christmas songs and music... with tears streaming taking all those beautiful words from the 3 women to heart... and remembering the magic of Christmases past...as a child seeing the tree all lit up and dressed with homemade cookies my Mama made with love and care then seeing our children's eyes lit up reflecting the same magic of our Christmas together, and the last time my darling played Santa with our (then) little grandchildren closest to mind. It's going to be a tough night tonight not hearing his deep voice wishing us all Merry Christmas, but his love will be all around us- as will he be too.... Wishing you and Desi a most magical Christmas with your most loved ones Susan ... as we Polish say "Wesolych Swiat", Merry Christmas and much love from way Down Under! 🎄🎅💕
Am watching on my lunch break Susan with tears rolling down my face as you read the words of that Ukranian lady. Such courage. I have a friend in Ukraine and pray every day for him to get back to his wife and son. He told me recently he got to see them for a couple of days after 3 months away from home. He says he treats each day as a gift. We can all learn from that - Grace under adversity x
Dear Susan and Desi, I just want to hug you for all the love and joy that you are bringing to me each week. This week's video is so special. Your words regarding Anastasia who is living in Ukraine were so inspiring. It is so true that we have to put our problems in perspective. Have a very merry Christmas!
An excellent point. Here in the USA, we have so much abundance that many of us take for granted. We think of our small (and readily fixable) problems as a hardship. Yet when we compare our lives to those around the world, living in wartime, famine, disease, we realize just how small our problems are. Praying for worldwide peace in the coming new year.
I hope Desi has a stocking filled with all his favorite treats. He is such a special gift to all of us. His singing cannot help but bring a smile and cheer to all who watch you. Thank you for sharing him with us. May you have a wonder-filled holiday and all the best that life can offer in 2025.
Merry Christmas Susan, and little Desi! ❤ I am a fairly recent widow, I feel so lost sometimes, and really look forward to your show on Saturday evening's! Me, and my little dog Delilah watch you, 😉 ❤🎄🎄🎄
Your videos are always so special and serene. I love when you take us to the thrift stores and share your finds. Desi is too special & lovable beyond words. You are such a deep thinker & soulful person. Wishing you & Desi & your beautiful family a wonderful holiday!!
I love the pill box and praying this war will end soon. The Ukrainian people have endured a war that never should have happened. All of these stories are so touching. I love Desi and hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Susan and Desi. I want you to know how much I appreciate your beautiful thoughtful words each week. They always make me realize how grateful I am for the blessings I have received. I also love how beautifully you express what you say each week. Thank you sweet Susan!🎄❤️
Oh Susan I just want to send a warm hug to those beautiful ladies who wrote you!!!!!! What you did for the man with his little boy, well, those are the things that I'm sure make God smile. Merry Christmas to you and Desi. Merry Christmas to all .
🎄🎁🎀This was a wonderful video. I'm so happy to see the stories you discovered, and how they affected your life. It's been a tough year and a wonderful year for me. I lost my two shitzu's, in March, and Nov. They were twins, 14 years old, it would have been their 15th Birthdays on Thanksgiving Day. We also lost two family members (my brother in law to Alzheimer's and my other brother in law to Cancer). I was able to finally meet all my Grandchildren which was wonderful, and our family is slowly healing from the political divide and pandemic issues. I'll pray for you and Desi to have a beautiful Christmas and New Year 2025! (My Birthday is New Year's Day). I could use a little prayer in selling my house we've had for 20 years. Rough times. Love you Susan and your channel. Keep Rockin'!
Asking the Father to send a buyer for your home. And, help you in packing. Give you strength physically, emotionally. Happy Birthday...a year of new beginnings. Prayers for protection. Jesus loves you. Me n Spanky my pup❤
I had a Boston bull terrier when I was a young girl and she sang Happy Birthday every morning when the radio announced birthdays on the radio. That was almost 70 years ago. Thanks for reminding me of the memories.
I waited to watch this this morning (Christmas Day) since I am alone (with my dog). My husband is in memory care this year. I will visit and have lunch with him. Thank you for such a beautiful video and profound message (s)…it touched my heart 🎄
My birthday was earlier in the month so my friends & I planned a gathering on 12/13. I made a large tray of Christmas treats. My dear friend was rushing around getting ready for a huge family Christmas at her home but she wanted to make brownies, I said don’t bother & sent her a pic of the platter. I got a call that morning that she passed unexpectedly @ 70 with no health issues at home in Rockford. The platter of treats were brought to her wake and I will never stop making them in her honor.
❤ I love your posts! From your home, to nature, to the music and of course your smiling face and adorable little Desi, I am warmed. Thank you for sharing your life and your thoughts. ❤
One word sums you up Susan.. Angel sent from heaven to bring us all joy and love on earth. Your my earth Angel for sure. And desi is an absolute delight that follows . Love you both so much. Your like family to me ❤❤
Susan you give me joy in such pain. Thank you for sharing stories. My depression is so bad and I'm trying to have faith and trust that God will help me to survive. ❤ I always love looking at your lists. Love your fashions. I love planners and can't afford presents and the letter to mom is must.. I put planner in my amazon account and going to say a prayer to get. But if not I will make do and write in a notebook. Thank you for that reminder. I miss mom and family. ❤ Your such a blessing.
Merry Christmas to you sweet friend! I am praying for you to find peace and joy this holiday! You are very special with such a huge heart... xxo Susan & Desi
This is a special beautiful video. This world is full of kind wonderful people who touch our lives. Thank you for sharing these stories. Desi is so adorable as always. Have a Merry Christmas and God bless you and Desi. May God bless dear Anastasia and all the people of Ukraine ❤🙏🌲
What beautiful comments from amazing women. I will look at Anastasia on Etsy. I'll see if you left a link. The pill box is so beautiful! And what your granddaughter said, and you made a wish, will be something she always remembers, and will one day , have your pill box. My mom's last Christmas is this year. She is end stage heart failure, she has pneumonia now as well. It's been 12 days in the hospital. I've written her a 6 page letter a few months ago, thanking her for all the great memories, and shared ones she forgot about, or didn't realize how much they meant. Everyone tell your parents you love them! It's so meaningful to them, to know their life and sacrifices meant something. Merry Christmas Susan and desi! Great job Desi
Oh my goodness when Desi sings with you i just loose it ,my eyes tear up and i laugh so much ,I'm wishing you and Desi a blessed Christmas with your family, and may our Father keep his full Armour and precious energy upon you and Desi and all your family, from the top of your heads to the bottom of your feet and paws 😄love is the key, always 💞 🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🐶🥰🎁
Merry Christmas Everyone! I love your video’s! You are like an older sister I never had. I look forward to seeing you and Desi on Saturdays. This is the time of year for quiet reflection. I’m transitioning from the old me to the new and improved me. I which I could say it has been easy but it hasn’t. But I’m a lot better than I was a few short months ago. I’m getting older and my body doesn’t do all the things it use to. I must admit I have not been very patient with myself, it’s been frustrating and sometimes I would just scream. I’m learning to love myself and to be patient with myself, after all we only get one body and we only get one life, I have decided to embrace mine. When we are loving and accepting of ourselves then we can be loving and accepting of others. I get tunnel vision sometimes, so focused on things I need to do, I don’t stop to notice the roses, much less stop to smell them. You have taught me Susan that yes we do get busy, but never get too busy to help someone, to reach out to someone, to show someone they matter. This year in 2025 I’m going to start being more of a giver and less of a taker. Thank you Susan. I love your video’s because you are more like family. Merry Christmas to you and Desi! Love you both singing at the end! Much love ❤️
Thankyou for a beautiful and special video tonight. The three stories were tear makers for sure. You bring so much inspiration and encouragement to all of us. Wishes for a blessed Christmas to you and your family and little Desi. Jinglebells duo a real treat. Thankyou. ❤
Thank you and Desi for your time! I was not in the Christmas Spirit, emotionally, physically or mentally. This video right here was perfect. It's Christmas Eve mid morning and now I have completely turned a corner ready to go get decorating, and baking for Christmas day. My family has dewindled but the ones that are alive and live close will be together(7) of us. 🌲❄️🎄❤️
Keeping you in thought and prayer. You will be with family. God Bless.🙏🙏
Prayers that everything will work out for you! Merry Christmas to you!❤🕊❤️🌟
Good luck with your car and God Bless 🙏 Merry Christmas 🎄
The courage of the Ukrainian people is profound. Bless them❤
Totally agree….blessings to them, 🙏 pray they stay strong. ❤🙏And we pray for peace.

My year has been so up and down.

Me too! 😊
I miss them too. We’re down to 5 people now. It’s so sad. Merry Christmas 🎄
And to you, dear lady. ✌🏼
That’s awesome!!!
I was 41 years old when I finished my bachelor's degree. You go, Girl! Education can never be taken from you!
I am so happy for you!! Happy learning! ♥️
My aunt decided to become an attorney at 65. Another friend had been a homemaker all her life, and at 65 went to school and became a teacher. She worked until she was almost 100. Why not?!! Best of luck to you!
Wishing you the best year EVER! Your courage is inspiring 🎄
I saw a post the other day and this was what it said "The real magic of Christmas was our mothers" I think that's true.
Merry Christmas

Ah, thank you so much for being here! A very Merry Christmas to you and yours! Susan and Desi...

God Bless You for your kindness.

Such a kind gesture!!
"Looks like magic dust, let's make a wish!" LOVE that!! ❤ She has your spirit ✨️
Glad to hear you are feeling better about your future!!

I love you Susan and I hope that you will have a beautiful Christmas with your family. xoxo
Merry Christmas Susan and little Desi! The song was fabulous!!!

My family lives in Eastern Kentucky too❤ that's my second home 🏠
@ mine too. I was from Combs but the town is Hazard.
@@dorisdaylight8415 glad you enjoyed it. My husband has been gone 25 years.

Thank you so much for your kind and understanding words. Sending you a huge hug of comfort and thanks ❤
In the midst of a very low place, full of unknown tears, Desi brings me the warmth my heart needed. I just love him. 😘🐾
Such a heartwarming video, Susan. Love all your great Christmas finds. Merry Christmas to you and sweet, adorable Desi and your family. Sending love from sunny Florida
❤
Susan Thank You for the love and light you bring to me and all the lovely ladies here! I am not alone this year after visiting with you!

Merry Christmas to You and Desi!
🎄🎄☃️☃️🎄🎄
Oh, you are so sweet!!! I hope you have a wonderful happy Christmas this year. I appreciate you so much for being here...much love to you and yours, Susan & Singing Desi
Merry Christmas to you 🎄🎄💗🎄🎄
Merry Christmas and hugs to everyone.
Thanks to you and Desi for the song, adorable! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you sweet friend!!! xxo Susan & Desi
Merry Christmas sweet Susan and to all of your fans as well. God’s blessings to us all 🎄🕊️🌹
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!! Thank you so much for being here tonight!!! Much love always!!! Susan & Desi
Boy! Desi has never sang better! He was on it! Wonderful, wonderful episode! Thank you and Merry Christmas!🎄
A touching video that embraces the spirit of empathy and caring.
Thank you so much for being here tonight!!! A Very Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!! Much Love always, Susan & Desi
Susan…..you and DESI bring sooooo much joy…..thank you!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy Christmas to you Susan and to dear Desi!!! Much love from Nova Scotia
I spent the majority of my life Nova Scotia. I moved to be closer to family.
@@annewhitney8809 Aww that's lovely.
Susan/Des : The Christmas Song at the end of the video made my day. 😂
This just made my week, always look forward to Sat. night,,,Merriest of Christmas to you and Desi...God Bless you
An excellent point.
Merry Christmas Susan & Desi and God Bless 🙏❤️🙏
I hope Desi has a stocking filled with all his favorite treats. He is such a special gift to all of us. His singing cannot help but bring a smile and cheer to all who watch you. Thank you for sharing him with us. May you have a wonder-filled holiday and all the best that life can offer in 2025.
Merry Christmas to you sweet friend!!! I appreciate you so much! xo Much love, Susan & Desi

I love the pill box and praying this war will end soon. The Ukrainian people have endured a war that never should have happened. All of these stories are so touching. I love Desi and hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Have a BEAUTIFUL Christmas Susan and PRECIOUS little Desi🎄🩷💜💙🎁🎄
That is the most precious reindeer I have ever seen ❤❤
I had a Boston bull terrier when I was a young girl and she sang Happy Birthday every morning when the radio announced birthdays on the radio. That was almost 70 years ago. Thanks for reminding me of the memories.
Ah thank you so much for being here! I hope your Christmas is full of love and joy! Much love to you and yours, Susan & Desi
Boston's are wonderful. Mine's name was Gizmo and I miss him to this day.
🎄Wishing you and Desi a wonderful, peaceful, merry Christmas!🎄
Beautiful tonight, thank you and I too love reading your comments. Your followers are sweet and dear.
I waited to watch this this morning (Christmas Day) since I am alone (with my dog). My husband is in memory care this year. I will visit and have lunch with him. Thank you for such a beautiful video and profound message (s)…it touched my heart 🎄
Merry Christmas Susan and Desi ❤️🎄🐾🙏❤️
My birthday was earlier in the month so my friends & I planned a gathering on 12/13. I made a large tray of Christmas treats. My dear friend was rushing around getting ready for a huge family Christmas at her home but she wanted to make brownies, I said don’t bother & sent her a pic of the platter. I got a call that morning that she passed unexpectedly @ 70 with no health issues at home in Rockford. The platter of treats were brought to her wake and I will never stop making them in her honor.
Loved the singing! I good chuckle!! Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for singing Desi.
❤ I love your posts! From your home, to nature, to the music and of course your smiling face and adorable little Desi, I am warmed. Thank you for sharing your life and your thoughts. ❤

Merry Christmas and blessings to you too.
You and Desi singing Jingle Bells was so precious and fun, it made me cry! You both stay warm and keep smiling!
Thankyou. ❤
Desi puts his whole heart into those high notes. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you both!
Sending you and Desi lots of Christmas Blessings...... LOVING THE SINGING!!!!!!

How lovely all those comments were! Oh my, such real emotions. I wish you and Desi a very peaceful and wonderful Xmas!❤️🌲
Dear Susan and Desi -Much love, hugs, smiles and happiness for Christmas and for 2025. "God bless us everyone!" Blessings - Judith 🎭🎤
