We stayed in Naples for 4 days just before covid, while we were walking through the historic Centre we spotted a sign for an underground ancient Roman market , we bought the tickets and visited those amazing ruins just underneath the current market..this video brings back all those memories!
Wonder if most of the souvenirs are Made in China. That’s a problem I used to run in my trips. The item would say the place but underneath Made in China. 🤔

Sadly our trip to Italy did not include a thorough stay in Naples. And now I’m really regretting it because this tour is very eye opening to how much we missed and did not see in the city. Thank you for sharing all the joys and wonders of Italy. There is so much to visit we didn’t know where to start. Seeing the streets and the people of Naples is truly inspiring for me to someday settle in this beautiful country.

We visited many Christmas markets in Europe in 2019, but we did not see any one interesting like this one. For Me this Christmas market is the best and I look forward to come here when pandemic is over. Thank you very much.
I was in Napoli November 2019, just before the pandemic. I just found your channel by chance and relived my trip which I was having so much nostalgia for. You walked right by my B&B, Mokasuite Spaccanapoli. This was amazing. Grazie mille! I can't wait to watch your other videos.
@@ProWalks I was there for 3 days. The only part of my walks that you didn't show were the areas along the lungomare but this tour made me so happy and it was emotional seeing my B&B and some of the shops and knowing they survived the pandemic so far. I've been learning to speak Italian and watch RAI and a show called Un Posto Al Sole, so I also went to Posillipo and saw the building they use as their condominium, Palazzo Paladini. I think it's called Villa Volpicello. It's a beautiful spot. It was wonderful having an evening getaway to Napoli🇮🇹🥰🤣

Naples is one of the most interesting cities in Europe I think for vitality. Looks scruffy, working class and un gentrified. All the port cities are great. With the exception of marseille which is beautiful but dangerous. Thanks.

What a great and interesting walk, thank you very much. Naples looks amazing, SOOOOO busy!! loved all the little streets and shops selling the Precepe’s. Food looks amazing too (especially the fried pizza’s!!!). Shame though the very informative subtitles/CC disappeared after about an hour of the video though :( :(

I love your videos. I can get a great glimpse of Italian life if I never get to go. I also recognize cities whenever I see them on tv or in books and on puzzles. I wish you would go to places that have less crowds. Not the popular places where all the tourists go. I love when you take walks down abandoned alleys, streets and walkways. Can you go to sites that are of historical interest, even ones less famous? I love old abandoned homes, churches, mansions, castles, roads, cemetaries, etc. Even those that are not to be missed. The streets you walk down are so full of charm and beauty. I like to see the different colored doors that adorn each home. Find old ruins and take me there. So far, you havent disappointed with the ancient history tours. Love it all!
Completely different from pizza everywhere else. I really miss it. When I was stationed there I would buy a pizza each weekend from a pizzeria near my house. So good and warm in the winter.
