This episode was just what I had in mind. Our school yard is full of concrete. No green spaces, no flowers, no colour. My colleagues and I as a headteacher decided to change all this and make our school yard a place where children have a safe play, are happy, creative and implement their outdoor activities with entusiasm and long run learning results. The former MOOC about sustainable Development gave us many ideas. We are looking forward for this MOOc and all the NBS methods to create the most appropriate climate shelter for our preschoolers. Thank you very much for the presentation and the amazing experiment. Let's meet in the MOOC.

I agree together! On the contrary, I am very lucky because my school is surrounded by nature and in the yard there is a flower bed with trees and tulips!

I encourage you to continue the current format of Scientix TV Episodes. Agueda's informal and cordial presentation invites you to discover the new Episode. And the three parts enrich the green school perspective and the need to get involved in the climate emergency are in line with the SDC24 theme. The speakers Nicolás, Oriol and Guillermo spread their enthusiasm.
I specify what I have discovered: the climate shelter schools project started in 2021 and the opportunity to get to know it better in the MOOC. It has also given me the way to present actions and activities in various foldouts to complete LS and respond to the consequences of climate change (intense droughts, water shortages, serious fires, rising sea levels, floods, melting of the poles, catastrophic storms and decline in biodiversity).
You will apply exemplification in my workshops to experiment with the construction of a simple and creative overcraft. I agree timing.

Unfortunately, our school garden is a garden consisting of concrete piles and there is not the smallest area to plant trees, but if possible, I will make a part of it a green area.
Cool shool is a cool idea. We also carried out a project with our students on the use of geothermal resources in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, where we live. Daha temiz bir çevre ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma için ve havamızı korumak için daha farklı çalışmalar da yine sizlerin yardımıyla gerçekleştireceğiz. Thanks ScientixTV for the good ideas

It is very important to move the classrooms to the gardens and to discover and find solutions to nature-based problems in out-of-school learning areas. For this, returning to nature, bringing students together with green areas will increase their awareness of nature at a high rate. nature-based problems in out-of-school learning areas should be our biggest motto.

“Transforming school playgrounds into climate shelters through nature-based solutions”, how necessary it is nowadays to work with students (and through them their families and therefore society in general) on the issues of sustainability and climate crisis. The COOL SCHOOLS and NBS EduWorld projects are very interesting for this purpose, facilitating the work of teachers.
The actual format of the Scientix TV Episodes is very appropriate, it invites to visualize them. The projects, initiatives, programs, resources and experimental demonstrations are shown in a very dynamic format. The result is very attractive.
In my opinion the Scientix TV episodes should continue with the current periodicity. It should not be cancelled!
One drawback: the publicity. It is a bit annoying the interruption of the episode by the commercials.
    Congratulations to the whole team!

I found this section very enjoyable. Most children deserve to receive education in greener environments. When children are given the opportunity, they produce incredible work, enhancing their creativity, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and many other 21st-century skills. We should give our children more voice. Living in a green future is their right too. Everyone wishes for STEM classes to be as fun as theater classes. I was impressed by the instructor's dramatic skills in describing this section. Students will also be influenced. A teacher should also perform a bit of theater in the classroom. I will also check out the website mentioned. The last topic is sustainability. What can be done with a CD? I really liked the example. My son and I will definitely try it. STEM lessons should be practical, and the concept of recycling should be instilled in students while applying them. In conclusion, I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from this section. These sections should continue. I'm sharing it on my social media right away and tagging you.

It is very valuable to witness and experience and keep alive different examples through this platform with management, teacher-student collaboration, communication, project-based, inquiry P4C, STEM methods and approaches, along with nature-based solutions in ensuring sustainability, gaining behavior in education and training in the school environment and realizing the achievements.
In terms of sustainability in schools, it will be very important to provide nature-based solutions and to keep these solutions alive with our students, to raise awareness, to create schools and workshops without walls, to establish these workshops in newly built schools and to guide students in studies focused on talent, skill and engineering skills, regardless of their level.

This episode is very enlightening about how schools can contribute to the sustainability of our planet, namely through the construction of green spaces in schools and greenhouses where students can put their hands in the "earth" and learn in a fun way.
It is very important because it disseminates training in this field and gives us tips on how to recycle objects for learning purposes.
    Congratulations to the entire team!!

A very motivational episode for teachers
If we correctly lead our students on the path of knowledge, the results will be accepted as "natural" by the students.

Teach Green was a very useful course to cultivate active citizens! Our school yard is full of trees, flower beds and a gazebo. It has green spaces, flowers, and a field for sports!. My colleagues and I as a principal continue to keep green by contributing to the cultivation of the environmental education of students with outdoor activities by playing safely, with enthusiasm, unfolding their creativity. all of the above will have long-term learning outcomes. MOOCs on sustainable development and climate shelter for children gave many ideas. Thank you very much for the presentation and the amazing experiment. All of the above was combined with the model of individual and social responsibility in Physical Education (model of Hellison 1995) and Multiple Intelligence of Garder (1983) where students cultivate naturalistic, kinesthetic, spatial and existential intelligence!

Thanks for the useful information! Your episode motivated the teachers of our lyceum to clean up the school yard. We created green corners in the yard where flowers and various plants are planted. In our yard, students, together with teachers, learn and explore different plants, plant tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries. Thank you for the wonderful ideas and experiments
