My kids and I love your videos. We watch them nightly before bedtime. Side note: I did the same as you with raw food and my cat. However, I found out after expensive vet bills and almost losing my cat that grocery store meats aren’t handled safely for a raw food diet. Apparently, they handle it with the assumption the ones consuming will cook it first. Raw food from pet suppliers are going to be much safer and handled correctly. So sorry to be “that person” but after my experience, I’d hate to see your beautiful kitties get sick like mine did. ❤

It's amazing how humans call animals invasive. I like your videos, and I respect what you do. I wish more people looked after lost and helpless critters. Now I say this with no disrespect intended. 1st, it wouldn't have hurt anything to let that little lizard loose in the swamp somewhere. Instead of killing it. 2nd somewhere, there is a daddy gator telling his son after catching a human at his favorite feeding hole. It's a invasive species son, so we have to humanely eat it.
In Florida it's the law if they are invasive they have to be put down if she got caught release it she could get a big fine. Now she probably could have found a sanctuary to take it.

You heard her tell you where the home range of those species are. Central ie Mexico down to the upper part of South America. They like the Boa Constrictors do not belong in Florida as they are causing damage to the native species. As she said, that little guy was probably released into the wild by an uncaring owner. Infant invasive species are a big problem in a lot of countries around the world. The way alot of them got to where they are, is that they were bought their by humans for some reason. Then they were either discarded or ignored by humans when they were no longer wanted. So they were left to roam free in the wilderness of the new land they found them in and in a lot of cases ended up doing a lot of damage. So in order to protect the species native to an area the invasive species have to be captured and euthanized. Humanely killing something is taking it to a vet and giving it an injection.
I know you’re wanting the best for your cats so letting you know that a raw diet doesn’t consist solely of meat or fish, you also need to add vitamins, minerals, a source of calcium just to name a few. Also, meat and or fish need to be high quality and chicken should be antibiotic free. Blue Wilderness is an okay food, but there are definitely better quality foods available. Look at Fromm, Orijen, Canidae, Stella & Chewys and one that I might try switching to that’s new to me but has great reviews is ZiwiPeak.
