Talos is the emperor and it was all a set up from day one. He has been playing fury the whole time. When fury blipped it was his time to move forward with the next parts of the plan.
When fury came back it messed up his plans so he went another route. He has access to all the scrolls and was playing fury so he could have totally manipulated it all and the twist is he will be revealed as the true emperor. Even his daughter doesn't know.
the bread crumb for roadie in the scene where him and fury are talking is that exit sign in the background when it pans out looks like its pointing too him plus its green could be a skrull!
Rhodey and agent Ross both could have just recently been captured. Their characters are slightly off and it could be that the scrulls just recently kidnap them. Gravik or Giah Said that the scrulls stay in human form to better assimilate to being human so maybe they just haven't been those 2 very long.
The soviet leader on a wall behind Gaia looks like Jelcin, who was the president for a short time his country played democracy after falling out of USSR. Which would be more in line with their history, since after the fall everything was in chaos and some soviet factories were abandoned.
Rhodes could have been kidnapped post Falcon and the Winter Soldier, or even post Endgame. still a lot of possibilities, one does not have to be a Skrull THE ENTIRE TIME
The Frost Beast actually does work with the FF connections. @@the_grey_phoenix Yeah but a frost beast doesn’t have that. I mean I guess ice but idk. If it does represent F4 I guess that was the best option.
Frost Beast makes no sense from what we know of them though I guess they could just suggest because it has similarities to Frost Giant DNA they were able to harvest the genetics that gives ice abilities….though that’s more like Iceman than it is Sue….personally I’m with Erik, Ghost would be the much more obvious choice here.
The meeting of the skrull politicians seemed very reminiscent of the meetings between the different factions in the daredevil/defenders series. Presented similar vibes
Bombing us back to when he was Terrance Howard is gold 😭😭😭
Rhodey in What If when he talks to Kilmonger tells him you have to make changes within the system. That has always been Rhodey’s character.
Its also a red flag (or green flag), as Skrulls are literally invading, making changes..."within the system".
Really enjoying this so far, it's so refreshing compared what marvel have released lately. Obviously everyone on social media is quiet because this is actually good
Agreed. I loved moon knight though.
i cant be the only one that noticed falsworth put the large meat hook across the walkin door to prevent it from being opened from the outside....then when gravik and his men pop the hinges the door falls out without resistance and there no meat hook or hooks on the door to be seen
Exactly! You weren't the only one...pretty sure that metal bar was skrull made, so it shape shifted into air to survive
Thank you!!!
Didn’t think about that. Just another disney mishap 🤷♂️
I think Sonya took it off to make it look like the Russians did everything.. And gravik falls for it.Because gravik is not following up about the hole.
They also install devices to melt the hinges on just two of the three that are clearly visible on the door
Is no one going to point out the actress who is playing his wife playes his mother in Unbreakable?
Huge green sign over War Machine while he’s talking to Fury.. might be a set up for him to be a Skrull
Also a green tinged flower between the two.
The Train scene was amazing. I liked this episode a lot more than the 1st
What a great episode. Erik, I think Fury mentioned that his wife kicked him out in Captain America winter soldier. It was a scene where he’s in Caps apartment. Of course it made it seem like he was just saying it because he knew the room was bugged. But I think he does mention a wife in that scene. Great job keep up the good work.
Yes, he does!!
Oh, wow. That scene is 1000000x better now 🤯🤯🤯
He’s talking in code.
His “wife” is in reference to SHEILD.
🙄
When they showed Fury’s info at that hearing, I thought the younger photo of him was actually a picture of Jay Pharoahs SNL impression of Fury. 😂😂
That would’ve been funny 😂
Gotta get that analyzed at Langley just to make sure
Tahiti was likely shut down after coulson and they no longer had the stuff to revive it and it’s been decades and they have moved on so it does make sense
Also cobie wanted to leave clark gregg didn’t
That's not what I read. Cobie knew of Maria's fate long ago, so it was pre-planned by Marvel.
@@ColorMeConfused29 maybe who knows
Didn't they destroy the remaining traces of Tahiti in AoS?
Do we need faith and money
This episode was sooo good!
It was mid asf
The groot pic is from groot trying to stop Thanos in woods.
My instant thought when I saw it as well.
I’m so confused by the ending it had me thinking is that fury or is it a skrull or something lol
I think it's just showing that Fury actually does care about the Skrulls since he's married to one.
@@abhiramhegde2564 oh ok yeah maybe and I mean he definitely does care for them he is close friends with one and has spent 30 years trying to help them
This series has started off so good!
I dunno if anyone noticed it but the scene with Rhodey and Fury had both of them on the same side of the frame. All the solo shots were on the left. I dunno if I am reading too much into this but this may symbolize that they are on the same side.
Looks like the Skrulls learned how to replicate my mom’s station wagon from the ‘80s. I learned how to drive in a completely identical car.
Skrulls could mate with humans and now we have MUTANT GENE
…no
Side note: if they cut their hair, does it revert to Skrull skin? Maybe that will be how they tell who's who in a later episode
Same with clothes. Some skrulls seem to change clothes when they transform, so would their clothes revert if you took them off?
Presumably they wouldn't need hair cuts, they would just choose to keep their hair the same length
@@rhodrage I am guessing that the clothes can't be taken off. If its part of the transformation, it's probably attached to their body.
@@nathanfisher9794 I am saying, if you want to know if someone is a skrull, wouldn't you just ask them to cut a piece of their hair to see if it changes?
@@M.Evra91I was thinking about that too. Or like, a blood sample would revert to skrull blood
In the last episode Fury has that quick aside about there being more attractive Skrulls than Talos. When his wife got revealed my mind was blown
Yea that conversation between Rhodey and Fury was one of my favorite scenes in the MCU
"Even when i'm out...i'm in"
Goddamn, Fury!!! Motherfucker really dropped the best pick up line in the history
Literally yelled *Shooter!* when the ‘media pundit’ scene happened 😂
One thing I thought was odd was the skrull recon team leaving Brogon on the side of the road for someone else to find. I’m wondering if he wasn’t really shot bc it was out of focus and gravik looks away right before the shot goes off. He could have shot into the open and just pushed brogan down so he fell. Wonder if he’ll come back to help the “good” side later
Kudos. That would be cool.
It was the side of the road but in their compound at the nuke plant. They left him there out of arrogance that no one who can do anything to them will find him there.
Watching it right now, I'll come back to this review shortly 😂
09:57 How can you not mention Eric Cartman being a damned Skrull?! He's probably the most dangerous one.
Thanks for this I was a bit confused and overwhelm after episode 2 and resorted to here to fill in the gaps
Talos is the emperor and it was all a set up from day one. He has been playing fury the whole time. When fury blipped it was his time to move forward with the next parts of the plan.
Hopefully. Probably not tho
It kind of makes sense if you think about how marvel adapts the story line to make it fit the story they are telling.
When fury came back it messed up his plans so he went another route. He has access to all the scrolls and was playing fury so he could have totally manipulated it all and the twist is he will be revealed as the true emperor. Even his daughter doesn't know.
19:55 - that might be Boris Yeltsin on the wall
Eric! Are you serious?? RHODEY CALLED HIM NICK!! NOBODY CALLS HIM NICK!! NOT EVEN HIS MAMA!! C’MON SON!!
@Babylonian-Cowboy or, hear me out…OR! They were ALL SKRULLS !
the bread crumb for roadie in the scene where him and fury are talking is that exit sign in the background when it pans out looks like its pointing too him plus its green could be a skrull!
I'm guessing G'iah is working with Falsworth.
This episode got me hooked
Samuel L Jackson had me in awe. His acting is on another level in this series.
That might not be him acting though... he could be a Skrull
20:36 I think it was when Groot was wrapping Thanos in branches in Infinity Wars
Nick’s line about good looking skrulls has come to pass
Great job on the video Erik! Thanks for making it. I loved this episode. It was written so well.
Fury knows how to use skrulls best way possible 😂😂😂.
The conversation between Nick and Talos in the train was so awesome
they should've had bamf listed as one of his nicknames
Was thinking something very similar ;)
the Rhodey/Fury convo is absolutely the best dialogue in the MCU so far, did anyone else get a DeNiro/Pacino "HEAT" vibe?
YESSSSSSS!!!! Incredible actinf”g.
So after Endgame Rhodie was captured by Gravik. It does make sense, the Rhodie in Falcon and Winter Soldier is a Skrull till now..hmmm..
The acting is phenomenal
Rhodey seemed off but that’s just me
Rhodes could have been kidnapped post Falcon and the Winter Soldier, or even post Endgame. still a lot of possibilities, one does not have to be a Skrull THE ENTIRE TIME
Exactly
"I am Nick Fury. Even when I'm out, I'm in" - Probably one of the coldest lines in the MCU!🥶 Fu*kin' loved it.
The Frost Beast actually does work with the FF connections. No they wouldn’t be able to turn invisible but maybe they’ll get the ability to turn into full ice “kinda like Iceman” and basically look “clear”. U get what I’m saying? So we’ll have a clear Skrull, a fire Skrull, a hulking Skrull, and a stretching Skrull. Could the FF movie be able the Skrulls too?
i was thinking the frost beast powers would be kinda like Sues force fields only having them made from ice instead
@@the_grey_phoenix yoooo it could be that too!
Lol @23:53 you can see E Voss in the house window😂
wow i did NOT see that ending coming
I did
I love it that they always refer to Shooter McGavin as Chris McDonalds most iconic character
