Thank you for bringing RE + DA to my attention, played VRO plenty before but this feels really fresh thus far, especially with Farnhams Legend added that also gives a new game start with my one of my favorites, a pimped out Prometheus.
you are very welcome, i had the same feeling when i started and the mod is receiving a lot of updates so looking forward to seeing where it will lead to in terms of ships.
I am using deadair's mods along with a mixture from the workshop.
I gotta say the base game is really good but the mods allow you to play the game with a universe that feels alive.
Like deadair's work makes the air have bigger fleets, a better eco, they fight more often, it's a step up in everyway. The difficulty aspect I find is in the AI doesn't "need" you the player any more.
Base game, the AI builds very few traders, and not enough production modules to produce goods fast, so the player has mining, trade, production, all lucrative and available for you to make a killing in.
His mods makes the air good at all this, so if you wanna make a real killing you have to think outside the box, like for me, I believe it's the reach that has 300%+ sunlight near argon prime, I build a solar plant there and usually a small storage station in the capital region for Antigone Republic and pontifex and that 1 station supplies all the energy cells for those stations to sell.
It takes more money to setup but can be pretty lucrative once it's up and running, and AI has so many traders that if relations isn't important I don't assign traders over than to move cells around to my other stations, I let the AI send ships to buy cells.
Only issue is AI is so good at eco, that energy cell cost will plummet to 8cr minimal pretty quick, so that's why I mass produce them in such an efficient region and ship them to other empires.
Mining can provide some cash, but I find it best to mix in some piracy, like I buy a large ore miner than raise cost of ore by capturing and selling their medium miners.
I make cash for selling the ship, but also make cash for raising ore costs.
However if anyone uses this tactic be careful, if you have Xenon Evo on or dynamic wars, you might cripple the faction and watch them crumble if you focus them to much.
You need to spread out the pain don't let 1 faction snow ball unless that is what you want to have happen.
Also, I enjoy mods like roaming Fleets, and mercenary I believe it is, you get paid for killing ships in enemy regions.
This helps vs Xenon, if you use Evo fleets, than seeing 4-5 k ships raid a territory is normal, and each ship can net 2.5m to 4m for just destroying the engines and letting a friendly destroyer get the kill.
This is a fast way to help an ally, gain relation and 10m credits from the k's dying.
Put that into a station etc and jump start your eco.
Just don't invest in your own destroyers to do this, a destroyer is 35m approx, and a k nets 10% roughly on death, the odds a second k will kill your destroyer while your fighting engines etc is pretty good... So use ally destroyers to get your pay days, don't try to utilize your own until you are rich.
If your playing Evo... God speed, I haven't won yet vs Xenon, they will eventually destroy everything and turn it into a big computer lol, like you'll enter company regard in teldari space and it's 4 defence stations and a Xenon wharf and you'll be like shit, they killed the teldari like 3 years ago... Lol

Im looking very much forward to everything the mods will bring, specially to see the economy since i always felt the AI could just do a lot more, its like you said the AI very much needs the human player and to see that changed sounds like a great step forward.
Thanks for the heads-up i do usually favor a specific empire but i'll make sure to spread out a lot more than what i usually do. as for the destroyers ill hold of on them i think torpedo small ships can be just as deathly but less expansive to replace. overall i'm excited about the campaign.
To be honest, I haven't done much with X4 mods (other than Star Wars Interworlds). So, I'm excited to see what all changes this mod brings!
Same for me but SWI definitely opened my eyes to some mods also i was made aware of this by a viewer if i wasn't i probably would not have known about this one

I am currently playing this scenario and I didn't have to make any changes to my settings. Having said that, I am not using any of the downloads you are. Although when I played X3, I very much enjoyed the OTAS ships. Have fun.

Funny thing, I found this video and was thinking, let's try that. So I go to check what extensions I'm running and find that this mod is already enabled. A very subtle mod, not as eye catching or game changing as I would have expected.
That is a coincidence for sure. i like this mod pack with the deadair script since you can really make the game a lot harder.
Hey, you really started it hahah, hope you are having fun, btw, I noticed that you have SirNukes Mod API on 1.89, this version have a bug that prevent some menus from other mods (in game, like right clicking on ships) from working, I know that 1.88 dont have this problem, and by the patch notes, it seems it was fixed on 1.90 (he released it today lol).

The default logo is called the Vitruvian Man, a diagram by Leonardo DaVinci, and is considered a symbol of science and progress. If you want a variant image look up fallout 4s Institute logo. I may have misspelled Vitruvian.
I do understand the scientific value but still not the first image i need when i start out fresh with my first ship 😂

@Identitools Sounds like you are a lot more knowledgeable about the mod then me 😂 i will also be adding the skulls and bones mod next time, should add a lot of flavor for the pirate factions.
@@DailyFixLP btw its recommended to not activate DA dynamic wars straight away and do the faction quests first if you intend to... but i guess chaos is acceptable plus with money you can adjust on the fly some relations if need be..
oww i didn't know that i just followed the faq on discord for the settings well at least we will have plenty to do in the future since i do enjoy chaos 😂

yes i should have, i was made aware of it but luckily its save game compatible

You can, but that would be the most difficult start there is and i would highly advise against it
this game is too hard for me someone can recommend me a intro or tuto for it?
well i have a 3 part series, but you can also press H in game to get a very decent tutorial menu
If DailyFix does not have enough for you, then take a look at CaptainCollins or TheRuggedGamer or maybe Fhiach.Stick with the game bud,it will get easier,just try to not run before you can walk.X4 is probably my second fav game,first is definitely X3 as its harder lol.
