I don't agree with your interpretation of what Heaven is, but I love the podcast and the content! You all help keep me in The Word and my heart focused on Him.
I believe more people will come to the Bible and Jesus due to this virus. Being captives people will open the Bible out of boredom. Once there they cannot help but to find God.
One exception, perhaps not out of boredom, but out of fear.
I DID exactly that!! This world is getting scary and I decided to spend my lock down time with the word, instead of watching TV!!
Some people read the Bible more than once but they are blind and cannot see. It's so sad. I pray that Spiritual ears and eyes would be opened during this time and forever. Glory to God.

What a great discussion today. Jase, "would it matter to you if you were in a shack with Jesus for eternity?" I used to push mow my yard when I was younger & poorer. I remember one day mowing around a bunch of rough old tree roots and being aggravated because it was hard to mow around them, it was hot, and I'm sure there was something else I wanted to be doing. I thought, when I get to Heaven I wont have to mow around these old roots anymore. Then it hit me, I will be tickled pink to mow around all the old roots in Heaven because I will be with Jesus! I became so blessed in that moment. Then I realized Jesus was with me right then! I guess I'm trying to say we all have chores that we prefer not to do, we all have people we know that is a chore to talk to or deal with. But Jesus is with us and that with his help the chores are not as bad as we think they are. The lord has blessed my family many times over the years and now I have a riding mower.

"I am. But my focus is on the person of Christ."

The doctor said, "That's my dog. He could have gone to any door in the office. He came to this door because I'm in here. He doesn't care about where I am, he just knows that he wants to be where I am. I just want to be where Jesus is."

While we do focus on the person of Christ, He himself wanted us to replicate Heaven and its standards in the Earth what He continually called 'The Kingdom' as He said 'thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven......'

Phil is so calm, so wise. What a blessing he is. What a blessing to have a father her turned to Jesus and loved his wife and family like a real man should do. There's a sad lack of real men out there today. I pray for the lost every day. I HATE satan. I don't want people going to hell when it's a free gift from God to be born again and go to heaven. James Hathorn - out of respect he probably won’t say what he really feels.
My friend was a Christian and was raped years ago. She was"strongly and continuously" urged by her family to end the pregnancy And was also urged by her church to have the baby. She ended up having an abortion which horribly haunts her still even though she has begged for forgiveness and is sorrow fully remorseful. I don't know what to say to her because she feels doomed for eternity for what she did. I try to tell her that God is a loving and forgiving God and the blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover our sin. But she's afraid he won't forgive her and she doesn't forgive herself. What do you suggest that I could say that would help? She's really a sweethearted lady.

If she were my friend, I would ask her this. If she had a daughter, and the daughter did the same, would she forgive the girl? If so, why would her Father not forgive her? This wound runs deep, and simple answers don't heal easily. She may need to connect with other women who have had to deal with this, in a safe environment. I have known several women who have had to work through this and allow themselves to be loved by their Father, who would heal their wound. The choice resulted in one dead, one wounded... The child is with God. The pain does not mean the sin is not forgiven. It is just a consequence. She may need to find a picture of the young lady who was in her mirror those years ago, and forgive her... tell her, you are forgiven. Not excused, truly forgiven. That you were violated, and having to cope with that, that you were pressured, and confused. And you are forgiven. And loved. Not loved because of having been good enough, but forgiven because her Abba loves her. (And she may need prayer that this spirit of guilt be gone.)
If she has Godly people who truly love and care about her like you, that is an excellent Foundation ...This God is so plentiful in love and mercy that I often extrapolate would Jesus REALLY forgive an Adolph Hitler, Jeffrey Dahmer etc.....IF THEY REPENTED AND SOUGHT HIS FORGIVENESS??? By His Word.... ABSOLUTELY YES! I am the embodiment of His Love and Mercy having been destined for death and hell on quite a few occasions...Only by His Love did I survive and not my skills or genius.

I would be interested in some discussion on that topic on the show. How do you stop looking back at poor choices in the past and overcoming the guilt?

That's why the Left makes such a big deal out of her. Honestly I'm kinda glad she's gone from SCOTUS. Wish she ended up a believer, but only God knows.
Politicians need to have a true encounter with Jesus and the ones that say they have need to step up and follow him.

We need a good conservative Judge on the court no matter the sex. We want someone to interpret the Constitution the way the founders did. We need someone that upholds the right to life of every human being. That believe in protection of the right of Christians and the right to keep and bare arms. Also the protect the rights of people to do what they want with their land and buisnesses.

I so enjoy "Unashamed"!!! I love that you all stick to the Word of God!! But if I may and it is not a deal breaker, but it is that I have heard twice on Unashamed from you all, that babies are born sinless. I understand that the Lord takes a young child to be with Him if the child is to pass away, certainly because the child was not of age or right mind to make a decision to follow Him or not. What age the bible does not say. But the bible does teach for example in Psalm 51:5, Psalm 58:3, Romans 2:23 etc.. that through the first Adam came sin to all men. One reason we are instructed by the Word to "train up a child". This is merely a discussion from a Christian sister who appreciates all you all do for the Lord! :)

We open with prayer and by pledging allegiance to the American flag every morning. Agree with you, Zach. Well said... our identity is in Christ and our citizenship is in Heaven. We are Christians first and Americans second, and therefore we shouldn't put too much stock in our political system.

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask what is the best Red Letter, Large Print Bible to get? There are so many versions that I get confused.
I like either ( NKJV) New king James Version. It is closes to the king James , but no old English language. Or the ( NIV) the New International Version. These are both easier to read and understand for me. If you have not read the Bible a lot yet. Start in the new Testament first. I always. Say a little prayer. First for God to help me understand what. He wants me to get from what iam reading that day. I Hope this helps you. God bless ! 🙏😊

barbara m - of the two you mentioned I would not choose the NIV version, over 100 verses removed and some passages have been reworded, I’m not familiar with the NKJV, I read the old English (KJV), once you learn the old English it’s great reading:)

I love this show, and even though I don’t agree with some of the things Trump has done in his past, and did vote for the man, and will vote for him again, but hearing Jase talk about how he got booted out of their hotel, then came back and got basically the VIP treatment and what they talked about helping kids, makes me like him better. I think he is possibly sent by God to help our country, all we have to do is vote for the man!
