"This is out of character, the Madrigals wouldn't yell at Alma/Abuela!" "Alma/Abuela apologized, why are they yelling at her?!" -This is an ALTERNTE TIMELINE. Well that's on you and your opinion :D Honestly, we can see them getting fed up and constantly being scared Alma's going to revert back to being too harsh on them. I mean, I'm sure all of them have several types of PTSD and anxiety alone. Not to mention depression. Bruno would probably snap on Alma - and happily, too. Even if it isn't for himself and it's for the others, he'll gladly take a chancla if it means that the others don't have to go back to being miserable and used. Camilo's end? Probably sick of his sister being traumatised by hearing every secret in the Encanto, probably sick of his cousins being used or bullied, and probably sick of the fact his brother might have to go through that. Probably sick of the fact his mom was put into a "clear skies" or rather a "conceal, don't feel" mindset, probably sick of the fact his aunt is used for her cooking, probably sick of the fact that his uncle was shunned and he even hid himself. Probably sick of the fact he's probably had several identity crises, probably sick of the fact that nobody's truly happy when he is *himself*, and probably sick of the fact that he NEEDS to change himself to help. Mirabel would 100% snap - she's been neglected, tormented, shunned, and treated as an outcast. And for what? Not getting a miracle as a kid? Family should come first - not some magical gift. Yet her uncle "left" to protect HER. Not himself, HER. Because he didn't want Alma to treat HER the way she treated HIM.
