Utterly amazing demonstration of the BBB. Thank you
Such a great video. Thank you so much. You explain it so well 👏
the mass effect reference 😭😭😭
Very informative. Thanks a lot! I could visualize way more what was on my FA textbook, lol.
I'm sorry but what i learn from textbook is that Ischemic Stroke causing edema by cytotoxic mechanism: that is hypoxic/ischemic causing Na/K pump ATPase to break down so that Na intracellular becomes more than the outside, hence water flows inside the cell--> edema. While vasogenic edema happens in tumor when the protease from the tumor causing BBB permeability to break down, hence your explanation.. CMIIW
Thanks! Great explanation.
Well explained.
Thank u so muuchhh 🙈🙈
Really nice explanation 😍
wow!
Does anyone know if the "Circle of willis" is composed of this blood brain barrier?
i have a quotation if BBB is block everything expect H2O and protein . then how drug effect !!!
why actually pathophysiology of vasogenic type of edema causing injury to brain tissue only a mass effect what's its effect on membrane so on can someone explain??
When perfusion to the endothelial cell.decreases it will.deactivate the sodium potassium atp pump resulting in retaining of salt and water ,so the endothelial cells starts to rupture. And since atp is not produced efficiently it cannot synthesise proteins, so the proteins which aids in the fenestration of the wall wont be ptoduced
Ahh, I'm a believer!I'm sure this sublime piece of biology happened because of Chucky Darwin's theory, all propelled of course by his gee-whiz bang agency of natural m@sturbation, that is the selection one has when one isn't having any bleeding selection. Fantastic. Absolutely convincing. I'm so impressed.
Not once my science teacher told me we have a blood brain barrier. Lofl
They are more interested telling you that we have infinite genders!
weird i cant seem to hear any talking :(
