- In this video i'm out in Australia for the first ever Crankworx Cairns a all new Slopestyle course has been built for the event so in this video we do a course walking and the first few runs hope you enjoy

Nice, a proper slope course that isn't an oversized dirt jump course. Like the good ol' days of Kokanee being a sponsor! The pool section reminds me of that NWD 9 segment.
I'd forgotten there were extra stops on the Crankworx tour, so this was a nice surprise addition to my sporting weekend. I like the weirdness of the course, bring something different out of the riders and I like that there are left & right options to mix things up and separate riders runs further. Don't forget people, Tom's last couple of course walks with Max he was moaning about this and that but then come finals day he was laying down banger runs or at least attempting to. Probably the jet lag at play, no doubt. Us Brits love a good whinge too! Can't go to Oz and not give them what they expect from the Poms! Good luck to both of you this week...

That nollie looking pad thing would look great with a footjam whip or even a g-turn imo. More BMX stuff but it'd beat just turning around

The course builders want to shut down Emil's win streak by making tech stuff ha. Erik Fedko is pretty good at the skatepark type features so I'd be stoked to see him win this one
I like that little "on (back down) off" feature, looks like it could be really cool with some creative ideas. Also someone for sure need to gap over the first on/off bridge lol

I agree with Isted, definitely some random features not needed. Course looks like expanded indoor bike park.
Definitely suits the bmx’rs. Looks very safe compared to other Crankworx, there isnt a lot of air time for cool tricks, Emil will still stand outc but Rogatkin my fav, gives best show with air time .

Id like to see someone try a flip on or off that weird turnaround feature, that would be nuts precise. Miss it and you'll explode for sure though!
As a viewer this course has yet to grow on me. My hopes are that some of the ballsier riders will go so huge that it will make up for the wonky layout. Make something cool happen on a bit of a WAH wah course. Tom I need you to make this fun Sir. Good luck and best wishes Bro 🤘

Quarter pipe to quarter pipe would've been a good move. That little stall feature really is pointless.

The set up for the last jump looks pointlessly hard
dont skip the half pipe thing they might dock ya, that stupid jump on off block is dumb like you need to stop they should have had a bowl like the last one even make it square shaped bowl.
The last jump definately needed to be pushed back further allowing it to be more straight line into it... and we are all in agreement with the lillipad or what ever the turn around thing is.... Dumbest feature on the course

A lot of “pointless” features u say? Sounds more like someone needs to expand their riding creativity ;)
Look at the bright side, at least the smaller, pointless features will allow you to compete in the finals because the better riders won't be able to toss down their normal tricks that you can only dream of doing.
