    The first half of the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

    • @Skinflaps_Meatslapper
      @Skinflaps_Meatslapper 3 роки тому

      I agree, everyone is doing the epoxy resin thing and it's wearing itself out fast. Though I'm not particularly sure what could be done to the rib section to give it a little more strength and stability while keeping with the aesthetic he was going for, it surely didn't need a resin fill.

      Made from junk. Looks like junk. A waste of a lot of good time and equipment. Don't get me wrong. I recycle waste wood all the time in useful projects. However, that is not at all pleasing to the eye, especially with the mixing of various types of wood and is strictly on the amateur level.

Wax and a good polishing .it is more enjoyable when you touch it it is do soft... anyway my point of view my opinion.. great.. work..

    A couple of things :
    1- He didn't use wooden dowels / nails to strengthen the legs. Why ?
    I thing just glued legs won't be able to uphold the weight of table top.
    2- To those slim openings, he could have used epoxy and it would bring exceptional beauty to this masterpiece.
    Nice, nice work for sure. Thumbs up.

    That is one of the most unique tables I've seen yet on UA-cam. Only a true craftsman can take a discarded piece of wood and turn into something functional and unique. WOW!

    Amazing! Talented, gifted, and patient. I hope they will keep it away from the sun, and rain. It most likely belongs indoors rather than outdoor. Great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

    Beautiful craftsmanship, though am a bit concerned about you not using a pusher on power equipment like table saws, planers, etc. Was intrigued by your chisling machine and noticed it is the same manufacturer as the nearby joiner. Can you list the power equipment (make, model and approximate age) you used in this video? Would add to the coolness factor and the historic value!
