My first ever anime I watched subbed. I've fallen out of anime for a few years but until a few days ago, I'm getting back into it. All I've got to thank is my brother for getting me into anime. It got me through my teenage years, and I'm forever grateful. I'm currently 20, and whenever I hear this song and the other openings I get a bittersweet nostalgic feeling. Sad that the time flew by so fast and I'll never watch this for the first time again. But happy that it actually happened, and that I got to witness anime for the first time. Thank you, for the memories, SAO... And thank you my brother for getting me into anime. I owe you. Cheers everyone.

The only two good arcs were the final two. Everything else was bad. Including Aincrad. Between the boring characters, the lack of depth, the idiotic character decisions, the nonsensical world building, and the clear direction of fanaticism over writing, SAO was terrible.
DANG! How come I just found this?! This was the AMV I was looking for since the past 2 weeks! This must've taken a lot of hard work to mix all the 5 openings! And to think that the best opening song of SAO(courage) can fit all their openings in this one 4-minute video.
Yuuki's theme song that why sadist character death and beautiful ending how all the players came together to pay their final respects and be there for her in her final moments alive 😢
The part that made me burst into tears was every player in ALO comeing to pay there respect's to yuuki during her final moments and her dieing in asuna's arms in front of everyone after she passed on her Ultimate Sword skill the mother's Rosario and made asuna her successor I have washed a lot of sad character deaths but none come anywhere close to konno yuuki's death scene it was beautifully designed and really got you in the feel's because she was such a lovable character like yui
When I hear this song, my feelings just flood my heart. The memories this song brings make me feel grateful: of all the people I've met throughout my life, the places I've visited, and the things I felt through that journey, just as Kirito did.
I never got to finish sao, stopped because it was too fast-paced for my taste. But their songs are really good. Courage is my favorite of them. I also feel so much while listening to the song, even if I don’t know the english lyrics lol. The rhythm of the song is fierce, but also gentle, if that makes sense. Fierce enough to give you this hope that everything’s going to be alright in the world and to keep fighting, gentle enough that it’s endearing to come back to every once in a while. I love it so much.
I really loved that part where there were consecutively moments from "Crossing field" and "Ignite" openings with their name captioned, and not long before that was a moment from "Innocence", that also had its name on it, funny stuff
This anime is important to me not just because it is one of my first and favorite anime but because it reminds me of a friend I had a long time ago that had to move to another country and she was crazy about this anime

I feel like this arch was a great example of a great world that was built by getting a second chance. Since the first story had some issues, which the Author of the novels admits. Glad to see it, and the writing, continuing to improve.

SAOの曲単体ではANIMAも凄く好きだけどOPとEDのセットではcourageとシルシが全アニメで最高。
原作読んでてキャリバー編放送してる時は歌詞まで気が回ってなかったんだけど映像変わってユウキが出てきた瞬間にもう泣いてたよね。

マザロザ篇でオープニング変わる演出
実は小さい頃のユウキとその姉が走ってバク転して姉が居なくなって、ALOのアバター姿へ
その後一人で剣舞をしてる風に見せているがアスナが登場することで、ユウキがアスナに姉ちゃん呼びしてしまう事を表している最高の演出なんだけど、気づいてる人が少ないの悲しい。
そして扉の先へ進むのも、空へ飛び立つのもユウキだけになっていてそれに連なる光の色がスリーピング・ナイツのメンバーの色だけ。つまり病気を持っていっちゃった演出に繋がるのも神がかってるんだよね
数々のアニソンがある中でやっぱ音程 リズム 歌詞 歌声 何をとってもレベル高いSAOは神。SAOに次ぐアニメが今後出てきてくれる事を待望しておこう、
