You have a good point but you know there are those people who love to set themselves apart from people with their "specific gold or whatever" skins. I don't care much for skins personally but their there and they don't affect gameplay (at least not directly) at all so I don't really mind. It's just personal preference I guess.
It's the best support weapon for winning 1v1 but falls short against groups of enemies for obvious reasons. Definitely my favorite support weapon, but that 5-6 bullet kill means you've got to make every bullet count.
:D Ravic!!! First of all, i loved those reload transitions you did. And next, could you do a video with a mouse cam? I would love to see how you work your movements! Anyway love the content!!
"DICE cutting corners" seems a little harsh given how phenomenal the presentation and mechanics of the game turned out. There are going to be some minor bugs, but overall BF1 is incredibly polished. I know you and musicK tend to play a lot and the little things get to you guys, but I wish you'd give the developers more credit - game development is by no means easy (for those of you in the comments, if you think it is, download Unity or Unreal Engine and try to make your own functional FPS!) and DICE is doing an amazing job with BF1.
There are a considerable amount of bugs/glitches that are still in the game that were present and shown frequently in the beta. DICE did cut corners because that issue I highlighted was not present in SWBF so they added something into BF1 that required them to cut elsewhere. Player models should not pop in like that. DICE is notorious for overscoping during development ever since they were purchased by EA, so it's not really harsh to say what I did. Also saying "phenomenal the presentation and mechanics of the game turned out" is a kinda giving them too much credit on this one because almost all of that "pretty game" stuff came from their work done on SWBF so it was copy and paste. They still managed to break a lot of stuff copying things over, love that broken soundstage. It's certainly not a bad game but "good Battlefield" games are generally based on how many things work and work well in the game versus bugs/broken game mechanics. I was being mild with my criticism in saying "DICE is cutting corners" so relax.
Hey, you want to say the game has bugs? I'm cool with that. You want to say the devs are lazy? I think that's a mischaracterization. What makes you think that these bugs are easy to fix? These are complex systems -- it's not just a case of adding a missing semicolon or 'if' clause. Compare this to other games out there today, and this game is looking pretty polished for what it accomplishes, especially on launch day. Put another way - what multiplayer game is just as complex and entertaining, and has fewer bugs? Maybe you can show an example of this "gold standard" of a game that you are measuring BF1 against.
Looks like you didn't read any word of what I said. All their work to make the game pretty came from Battlefront, not development on BF1 itself. Along with that came copy and paste of various things like UI elements, physics, certain aspects of gun play, soundstage. But somehow they managed to break a number of those that were functioning fine at launch for Battlefront. Among those things was occlusion culling ( which is what I was referring to with the watch here and DICE cutting corners comment ). Where friendly and enemy players visible teleport across the screen to where they actually are. During BF3 the devs actually said it was done that way to save on performance. Which is what I was pointing out that they did again in BF1 because Battlefront only had 40 players max but BF1 has 64 players max. That is a much bigger performance hit for an individuals PC. So they cut corners with how they handled rendering players. Cutting corners because they overscope on development and don't focus on polish early enough. Also where did I say anywhere in my comment that they were lazy? Seriously did you even read it or just pretend and made up my comment in your head? If I wanted to say they were lazy I would make a video solely about the legacy Frostbite engine bugs still in the game that keep coming back with each release ( although technically that isn't a lazy problem and just a result of improper code migration ). Again I was being mild with my criticism all games have bugs however what matters is if it has enough features and game mechanics that function correctly that make up for those bugs. BF2 and BC1, BC2 are examples of that. Those games had numerous bugs but it didn't matter because there were so many more features and so many more fun game mechanics in the game that made it enjoyable. DICE hasn't produced something like that in quite some time.
The title was more of a play on how the spread mechanics work in BF1 and how you hold the trigger down for longer or spam bullets to be more accurate. But your comment makes it even funnier, thank you.
Anyone remember that scene from Medal of Honor: Rising Sun where you are shooting down zeros with a BAR? Ravic gave us a wonderful representation here.
I like the m1909 telescopic better because of the accuracy and damage, the slower rpm and larger mag gives me the time to just take accurate shots unlike blasting a mag at a guy with the bar.
JustJason the BAR wasn't created to be a support weapon, in fact that wasn't really a thing back then. Suppressing the enemy wasn't in mind when Mr. browning created it, more to be an evolutionary rifle.
Kyle Anton uhhmm personally i don't count cod 3 to the franchise...cod is and was a PC game... considering 3 never came out on PC... yea... and yes i'm one of those people that really things cod NAILED IT on 1 and 2... and basically went down hill from there
I feel like for players to stay invested in this game they need to keep on pushing oit new maps and try to squeeze as many possible weapons out for this game.
I wonder if we will see "prototype" weapons like the Thompson considering it was made at the tail end of ww1 but didn't get sold an masse in time to be of influence.
Armagedonjk the ww1 variant was faster but jammed like a motherfucker soooo unless they make it into a bastard gun that jams like crazy then yeah it would fire that quickly plus I think the bipod may just be glitching and activating anywhere and everywhere.
Patiently waiting for Ravic to shoot down a bomber with the Kolibri....
Dion Phagoof so true.....
yall know its happening
Dion Phagoof yeah that be something epic
Dion Phagoof exactly
It will need to have at least 3x scope and bibods for long range shooting.
Why did they put skins in the game when it is so easy for the weapons to get completely covered in mud making it impossible to see the skins?
I've been wondering that myself
Ravic true. I haven't thought about that
battlepacks?
You have a good point but you know there are those people who love to set themselves apart from people with their "specific gold or whatever" skins. I don't care much for skins personally but their there and they don't affect gameplay (at least not directly) at all so I don't really mind. It's just personal preference I guess.
Ravic is there a setting to turn off the mud, cuz if not then I agree it's kinda weird
3 Germans walk into a BAR...
Liberty What a joke
And Ravic kills them
Liberty rip
... And then they kill the BAR gunner, given their average lifespan on the battlefield was ~30 seconds...?
Did I get it?
And they kill everyone screaming Allahu akBAR to blame isis
That thing looks like a laser compared to the LMGs in the beta.
Moose6340 might be op
no! 20 rounds...constantly reloading. high recoil. it's balanced. ravic just makes it look op.
Fermin Medina basically the scar h from bf4, playable as support. I'm going to love it.
James Dean very different playstyle to the scar h...you can't really tapfire the bar
It's the best support weapon for winning 1v1 but falls short against groups of enemies for obvious reasons. Definitely my favorite support weapon, but that 5-6 bullet kill means you've got to make every bullet count.
like that ring noise when you get a kill.
It`s a sound put there specifically to release dopamine into the reward system in your brain.
It works.
I love the ambient noises as well as all the shouting that's going on with the gunshots snaps especially in the urban areas there. So much immersion.
:D Ravic!!! First of all, i loved those reload transitions you did. And next, could you do a video with a mouse cam? I would love to see how you work your movements! Anyway love the content!!

+James Long ?
+trillogesT _. ladies first.
trillogesT _ lets be real, you'd be stupid enough to jump off if someone told you there was proof of Ravic being a cheater at the bottom.
I can't wait for In-game chat reactions. Lol
"Fucking Hacker!"
It's refreshing to see a great player playing the objective while also using the class to help the team, (Suppression/Ammo)🤙
Love your transitions in this video! That zoom out from one map zoom into another was dope.
I'm going to get sick of hearing apples, buttah and George lol
You can turn off the voices in options.
fourstarbrazil Ive done that too
Yea. It was kinda funny at first but now I'm so sick of apples buttah george
I turned off the announcer already
3:30 - That was a nice cut! The animation is synced up really well.
can always watch ravics videos to get great shots on battlefield bar looks amazing keep at it
Ravic why r u soooo good at every game u play and keep bringing the vids because there awesome and I love watching them.
I think i like this BF the most. Mainly for the sound effects and voices. Very cinematic for a BF game.
The bar is one of my favourite old day weapons
Really liked the transitions, well done good sir.
Awesome ideas in the editing man! Please keep the new bf1 vids coming
Beast mode as usual :) This should be an instructional video for new players on how to chuck ammo packs.
this is too OP its needs a nerf........ im talking about Ravic of course
That transition between maps at the beginning was cool
Those transitions between clips when you die are the best.
Truly impressive Ravic. You have a gift and you use it well.
The sound that the Dreadnaught makes is absolutely terrifying
Let hackusations against ravic in BF1 begin
heyitsthatguywiththe HE'S A FUCKING HACKER! You're welcome. hahaha.

Mythic "Ravin and Musk are hacking"
love how ravic makes any gun he uses look like the best gun in the game

DICE is a whole fucking team that can't fix the legacy bugs... If we are on their arses all day long, it's for a good reason.
There are a considerable amount of bugs/glitches that are still in the game that were present and shown frequently in the beta. Scott Minor
Pretty polished? Are we playing the same game? It took them two fucking years to get BF4 to a decent state. Not perfect, decent.
Love the transitions Ravic!
Bf1 chat reactions?
B.lw_ 900 it will happen eventually ... People are naturally salty
jonesej71 yeah they are.
B.lw_ 900 "you're hacking"
Ffs no pilot is safe when ravics playing. Could probably shoot out a pilot in pokemon go somehow
That's the best sound effect for a LMG in the history of Battlefield.
We know you love the game deep down in your heart.
DICE is still cutting corners?
Vaulting is still a thing?
What a wonderful combination....
probably brought a tear to his eyes when he saw the "3 minutes left to play" warning.
Ravic is a Battlefield superhero, his only weakness is himself
i love how they say some things when you give ammo ' i have some ammo with your name on it'
Absolutely I'm gonna use BARRRRR!!!!!
Ravic... you're a brave man running in a straight line after getting sniped in the back like that. Kudos
Ravic since day one i've seen you play but the edits have been getting better and better nice bro
One of my favorite firearms
Battlefield 1 BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE RIFLE RIFLE RIFLE RIFLE!
I like when the grenade animation fucks up so one just emanates from your chest
Ravic can oneshot a heavy tank using a Kolibri.
Bartuhs This is possible
Ravic I expect a Kolibri pistol video very soon.
11:49, most EPICLY HAPPY HORSEY OF ALL TIME
this is why I hate the "guns damage vehicles" thing. one magazine takes down a plane?! that's why I still play bf3, where the legit gameplay is at.
The grandpa of ravic was a badass figthing in ww1
I like how you change between Video sequences while timing the recharching animation
when the BAR was a god gun, now its just a gun :P
gotta love how the game spawns enemies right behind u. had a whole squad appear from one moment to another on the St Quentin D flag fields
His awareness is good, he notices movement even in the corners of his vision.
the BAR slays bodies
When Ravic dies: Everyone tries to revive
When I die: people walk over me
7:00 "Do you think love can bloom on the battlefield?"
Ravic is battlefield's rambo
I'm just back here to marvel at the thumbnail for this video. It still makes me laugh. BARRRR!
This is by far my fav gun in the game
liked that little transfer
I like the m1909 telescopic better because of the accuracy and damage, the slower rpm and larger mag gives me the time to just take accurate shots unlike blasting a mag at a guy with the bar.
4:51 that smooth Transition tho
Amazing work on the editing!
With BF1 will you still play BF4. I'm not asking if you will record anything but what are your initial impressions on the game itself compared to BF4.
there is a level of squad play here that I aspire for
Can't wait to unlock this!
The BAAR, ladies and gents.
So the BARRRR is clearly OP and I want one
7:47 people are going to abuse the shit out of this. Fuuuck.
Keegan Shulista they can't, it was a random objective spawn
if you look at the map the whole objective was surrounded, so wherever they spawned they would have been screwed
yeah the spawn system is prob the worst yet from DICE
then you did not play bf3 at launch if you think that.
hahaha fair enough. i would just say bf3 had far worse spawns because of the maps it had i feel were terribly designed.
For the first two minutes I thought the title was just a noise someone would make whilst playing battlefield 1.
Oh my God I'm so happy it's in the game!!!!!
3:28 That transition though
20 round mag on a Support weapon? Must hit like a truck/be super accurate then...
JustJason the BAR wasn't created to be a support weapon, in fact that wasn't really a thing back then. Suppressing the enemy wasn't in mind when Mr. browning created it, more to be an evolutionary rifle.
PlagueRaza Interesting, so they put the BAR in the game and gave it those stats to be as accurate as the weapon in real life back then?
atleast 40 round is necessary to trigger happy in my opinion
everything in this game is light on ammo compared to what we are used to in previous games
JustJason it's a actually an automatic rifle, Dice just put in in the support class because no other class would fit well.
God damn that thing is accurate
glad they have the low mag to balance the BAR, DICE knows what they're doing now
Dahvoun 20 rounds was it's actual ammo load per magazine.
the beast is back! good to see you destroying lobbies again ravik
Ravic the One Man Army! ;)
lmfao @ 7:02 "hai :D" *thows ammo pack at his face and runs away*
you make me smile.
The BAR wins in every shooting game i've ever played. Even in flash games
i suddenly feel an urge to go play call of duty 1 lol
Fabian van den Bussche
cod2 my favorite
trillogesT _ oh hell no. cod 1 rules because it has this thing called United Offensive... the only cod that had vehicles in multiplayer? :P
Fabian van den Bussche cod 3 had vehicles in multiplayer
Fabian van den Bussche
Well I played cod2 a lot.
Kyle Anton uhhmm personally i don't count cod 3 to the franchise...cod is and was a PC game... considering 3 never came out on PC... yea...
and yes i'm one of those people that really things cod NAILED IT on 1 and 2... and basically went down hill from there
This is by far my favorite gun... I think I am at 22 or 23 service stars with this gun now...
I feel like for players to stay invested in this game they need to keep on pushing oit new maps and try to squeeze as many possible weapons out for this game.
Great content ravic, keep it up brother.
This video is awesome. Great game play. I love the sounds of the BAR.
Question: Are you bursting or just holding down the trigger?
Can't wait for hardcore
was ravic doing a lot of recoil compensation as this weapon lots like a laser beam in his hands
dat savage, dat reaction
He did in 30 seconds of this video, what took me since September 2017 to do just twice....
I wonder if we will see "prototype" weapons like the Thompson considering it was made at the tail end of ww1 but didn't get sold an masse in time to be of influence.
ravic still bossin it, good man..
The last time I saw a BAR in a video game was in Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. I don't remember the RPM being so high.
Armagedonjk this is a different bar the ww1 version rather than the ww2 version
Armagedonjk the ww1 variant was faster but jammed like a motherfucker soooo unless they make it into a bastard gun that jams like crazy then yeah it would fire that quickly plus I think the bipod may just be glitching and activating anywhere and everywhere.
That helps, good info!
Armagedonjk I loved that game. Remember the welrod?
best support gun by far!
that gun is a lazer!
I played the BF1 beta and while I like watching videos of the game I didn't really enjoy playing it myself.
Great stuff rav
good stuff Ravic
The BAR M1918.......the new SCAR H or G3A3?
At least I'm not the only one who inadvertently throws ammo or meds at enemies.
It's free points you can get by force feeding your dumbass teammates ammo and health. It helps speed up the leveling of those two classes.
Ravic I knew about that. I just end up throwing it to EVERYONE. Even to enemies at near point blank.
It's gonna take me awhile to warm up to BF1
this gun is crazy :D
