The weapon is the BAR M1918 Telescopic with optics set to lowest which I believe was 2.5 times zoom. Haven't tested the recoil adjustment customization yet so all of this was set to default and I ran out my trial.
That "watch here" part is showing a player that was aiming down sights next to that wall and that the game didn't render him on my screen until quite some time after rounding the corner. At least it took longer than it should for an FPS game. Same BS from BF3, it's DICE cutting corners for performance.
Patiently waiting for Ravic to shoot down a bomber with the Kolibri....

Why did they put skins in the game when it is so easy for the weapons to get completely covered in mud making it impossible to see the skins?

You have a good point but you know there are those people who love to set themselves apart from people with their "specific gold or whatever" skins. I don't care much for skins personally but their there and they don't affect gameplay (at least not directly) at all so I don't really mind. It's just personal preference I guess.

It's the best support weapon for winning 1v1 but falls short against groups of enemies for obvious reasons. Definitely my favorite support weapon, but that 5-6 bullet kill means you've got to make every bullet count.

I love the ambient noises as well as all the shouting that's going on with the gunshots snaps especially in the urban areas there. So much immersion.

"DICE cutting corners" seems a little harsh given how phenomenal the presentation and mechanics of the game turned out. There are going to be some minor bugs, but overall BF1 is incredibly polished.
I know you and musicK tend to play a lot and the little things get to you guys, but I wish you'd give the developers more credit - game development is by no means easy (for those of you in the comments, if you think it is, download Unity or Unreal Engine and try to make your own functional FPS!) and DICE is doing an amazing job with BF1.
DICE is a whole fucking team that can't fix the legacy bugs... If we are on their arses all day long, it's for a good reason.
There are a considerable amount of bugs/glitches that are still in the game that were present and shown frequently in the beta. DICE did cut corners because that issue I highlighted was not present in SWBF so they added something into BF1 that required them to cut elsewhere. Player models should not pop in like that.
DICE is notorious for overscoping during development ever since they were purchased by EA, so it's not really harsh to say what I did. Also saying "phenomenal the presentation and mechanics of the game turned out" is a kinda giving them too much credit on this one because almost all of that "pretty game" stuff came from their work done on SWBF so it was copy and paste. They still managed to break a lot of stuff copying things over, love that broken soundstage. It's certainly not a bad game but "good Battlefield" games are generally based on how many things work and work well in the game versus bugs/broken game mechanics. I was being mild with my criticism in saying "DICE is cutting corners" so relax.
Hey, you want to say the game has bugs? I'm cool with that. You want to say the devs are lazy? I think that's a mischaracterization. What makes you think that these bugs are easy to fix? These are complex systems -- it's not just a case of adding a missing semicolon or 'if' clause. Compare this to other games out there today, and this game is looking pretty polished for what it accomplishes, especially on launch day.
Put another way - what multiplayer game is just as complex and entertaining, and has fewer bugs? Maybe you can show an example of this "gold standard" of a game that you are measuring BF1 against.
Looks like you didn't read any word of what I said. All their work to make the game pretty came from Battlefront, not development on BF1 itself. Along with that came copy and paste of various things like UI elements, physics, certain aspects of gun play, soundstage. But somehow they managed to break a number of those that were functioning fine at launch for Battlefront. Among those things was occlusion culling ( which is what I was referring to with the watch here and DICE cutting corners comment ). Where friendly and enemy players visible teleport across the screen to where they actually are. During BF3 the devs actually said it was done that way to save on performance. Which is what I was pointing out that they did again in BF1 because Battlefront only had 40 players max but BF1 has 64 players max. That is a much bigger performance hit for an individuals PC. So they cut corners with how they handled rendering players. Cutting corners because they overscope on development and don't focus on polish early enough. Also where did I say anywhere in my comment that they were lazy? Seriously did you even read it or just pretend and made up my comment in your head? If I wanted to say they were lazy I would make a video solely about the legacy Frostbite engine bugs still in the game that keep coming back with each release ( although technically that isn't a lazy problem and just a result of improper code migration ). Again I was being mild with my criticism all games have bugs however what matters is if it has enough features and game mechanics that function correctly that make up for those bugs. BF2 and BC1, BC2 are examples of that. Those games had numerous bugs but it didn't matter because there were so many more features and so many more fun game mechanics in the game that made it enjoyable. DICE hasn't produced something like that in quite some time.

Armagedonjk the ww1 variant was faster but jammed like a motherfucker soooo unless they make it into a bastard gun that jams like crazy then yeah it would fire that quickly plus I think the bipod may just be glitching and activating anywhere and everywhere.

JustJason the BAR wasn't created to be a support weapon, in fact that wasn't really a thing back then. Suppressing the enemy wasn't in mind when Mr. browning created it, more to be an evolutionary rifle.

JustJason it's a actually an automatic rifle, Dice just put in in the support class because no other class would fit well.

Yep, it seems to be the new meta or direction DICE is trying to go.
What's you're overall impression then of how the weapons function compared to BF4? It seems with how support weapon bullet bloom is so drastically different from BF4, even you have to mag dump(like Dice intended i suppose?) to take a person down at mid-longish range.

I like the m1909 telescopic better because of the accuracy and damage, the slower rpm and larger mag gives me the time to just take accurate shots unlike blasting a mag at a guy with the bar.

Can someone explain to me why some seasons such as the BAR don't have the extra loaded bullet counted when not doing an empty reload? I would think the same rules would apply.

How do you use the Bipod? Is it an attachment? I dont' see attachments in the customization screen. If not, then why isn't it auto-deploying like people say it should? I've been trying to figure this out for an hour now and I'm thinking it's broken.
