I want this bike so bad but the power dip turned me off for all the bucks but this video won me over with the tune. Dose the bike have as much vibration as people say?
I’ve got a 2022 cb1000r. Went with the full Akrapovic system and a k&n filter. I’m up in Utah at around 4,500 ft elev. they struggled with the engine mapping as well, took around 4 weeks to get the bike back. I believe woolich is the only tune available for the cb right now. Ended up with 140 hp at the wheel and 80ft of torque. Great video and glad there’s someone else ripping around on a tuned cb1000. The sound is amazing, especially the cold start 🤤
Yes, Woolich is the only one I saw after doing a lot of research. The sound is amazing, definitely glad I pulled the trigger on that. I see that you have some videos up in your channel, I’ll definitely check it out… idk about you but I haven’t seen a single CB1000r since I’ve been riding. Cool to not have a common bike lol. But I hope one day we can organize a CB ride out. Lol , easier said than done. Stay safe 🤙🏾
@@cyclevybz they are rare to see in the wild for sure. The local Honda dealership had one 2023 model come in and it sold before they took it out of the crate. I like what you’ve done with yours, it looks awesome. It’s way cool having a bike that’s not so common, it’s definitely a sleeper and surprises most people with its speed. It’ll hang with the best of them, until aerodynamics kick in at higher speeds. Ride safe bro!
Hey I’m also in Utah with a ‘21 cb1000r. Where in Utah did you take your bike to get it tuned? I’m having a hell of time trying to find someone to tune it haha
They're rare to see because they are crazy overpriced. It's a good bike by itself, but when compared to others in it's price range (like a Yamaha MT-10), it can't compete.
Hey man how’d you go about tuning the EUR5? I’m having a hard time finding anything the works with my 23 black edition. Definitely need that smooth powerband though.

Hey let me start by saying thanks for putting out the content on the the CB1R ! For such a great bike i'm surprised it's not more popular. It's really surprising there aren't many options available for tuning the bike. I feel like it's got great power, My first order of business was to try to smooth out the Low to mid throttle response it's Got some serious snatch from 0- to about 20% It's really aggravating driving in traffic but i'm sure everyone reading this already is Already aware of it. I had a booster plug on a 16 Vstram 1K It had the same problem and the booster plugged fixed it and it was cheap. Euro5 Is forcing them out of business. I've beat down all the power comander retailers And there's nothing available after 2018 I could find.. I really feel like this bike really needs to tune due to all of the restrictions put in place for the emissions. Obviously that's the reason for the erratic throttle response to maintain emissions levels... Well obviously i'm going to be using my 23CB1R In a close circuit racing environment., And I just wanted it to run properly. I hate the idea of jacking the computer on a brand new bike and voiding my warranty... Is the woolrich tune the only option??? I was hoping for just a slip on for now and hold off on the full system.. But man throttle response Is Mediocre at best... I would be even interested possibly in buying a separate ecu With a generic tune installed so I could maintain the original o g ecu.. Maybe too expensive not sure no experience in that subject category... Anyone with some info would be much appreciated.. Hey I love all your mods at 1st. I didn't like the belly pan but it's starting to grow on me.. Anyone have a line on some dyno services In the Northern Virginia area??
So, I am actually getting it tuned again in two days. Apparently, there’s was a bug in the Woolich Racing software that restricted the outputs. I’ll make a video on this once it’s done. For dyno services in your area, email Woolich racing and they’ll connect to partners in your area.
@@cyclevybz Hey thanks for getting back. I'll stay tuned On your results.. and I'm gonna. Keep digging in the meantime looking into a Additional e c u to maintain the original haven't found a price yet.
I did the same Black Widow exhaust (shit is a steal for the price), but went with an A-Spec slip on. I'm right around the same whp as you and others in the comments.
It’s sad we all have to spend a small fortune to restore our bikes to be all that they can be without being choked out by emissions garbage. Like they choked out about 15 hp out of the cb 500f by simply by restricting how much air gets to the engine. And so it meet a2 license restrictions.
I’m thinking of doing the full Akropovic system on my black edition but, I want to have black pipes still. You think I can ceramic coat or cerakote these pipes that are fully exposed?
Dude I had the same thought, but the full Akrapovic system looks so sick on the black edition. I was surprised that I liked the contrast as much as I do. I say dooo iiittt

The biggest improvement is that massive dip in power between 5 and 6k for everyday riding. It changes the whole character of the bike
I agree. Night and day

Hey! The sound is awesome! Any reason why you didn't just remove the catalizator and install transition in catalizator place?
Wow, yours is really down on power compared to other tests
I did the same Black Widow exhaust (shit is a steal for the price), but went with an A-Spec slip on. I'm right around the same whp as you and others in the comments.
I just got re tuned, I’m up to 133.. I’ll see if I can do a video today.
I was waiting on you for this post, what was it making before/after in regards to top speed and torque. I just did mine and got it back yesterday.
Torque jumped from 68 to 73, I have maxed out.
What did it cost you to have it Dino tunned
118 how when the bike comes rated at 143 🤔
Got it retuned, im up to 133 now.
143hp at the crank, at the wheel it's about 120hp. I don't know how he was getting under 120hp
@@balex96 that’s what I’m saying with proper tune and mods they can make close to 140 to the wheels 🤷🏽♂️

Did you have to install a power commander?
No
Such a sexy bike
Yes it is 😍
nice videos contents you put out @Cycle Vybz do you have the exact links of the exhaust and headers of where you got them
