One thing that actually caught me off guard is that your time doesn't seem to be affected whatsoever by the eclipse nerf which is surprising, we're any of your builds tweaked after the change was made? I checked out your builds link, but can't remember if these builds are before or after the eclipse nerdlf. Though I was surprised to see Precision Intensify wasn't on the volt build.
The duration of the run itself hasn't really been impacted but a clean run is harder to pull off now (ogris needing 2 shots to 1tick pylons etc...). The builds are also more riven dependent (diplos especially). There is also less build variety for the players that are not going for insane runs but that still want decent times. And we don't use precision intensify because it would mean that we lose speed on our way to PT and it would not help us get past a certain breakpoint in damage.
@@endryx_ow Thanks for the response! I see, that makes sense. At the moment I get around 1m 40s on Xbox, still newer to the volt setup, originally used a saryn setup for a couple years, but eventually bought rivens for the tenet diplos, velocitus and ogris to lean more towards doing volt runs, so I just need to gain more experience, though dealing with PT legs and Pylons fast on a controller is a real pain haha. Though riven wise I should be solid, I believe my Tenet Diplos riven is 69.6% Cold, 69% Toxin, x1.35 Damage to Corpus, and neg infested. Velocitus also one taps legs, I just need experience, though I'm glad I now know I don't really have to change anything other than shooting pylons an extra time with our current eclipse. Once I get faster, I'll slowly change out my 3 blue shards on Volt to red shards for more strength. Right now I have 1 red for strength, 1 Amber for casting speed, and 3 azure for Armor. Since my runs aren't quite as fast, it leaves more room for PT to hit me and down me, so I need to be faster first. Edit: Also just noticed you use Madurai Void Strike for the final pylon phase to make sure it's 1 shot for each pylon, smart!
@@lsaminatorl I also used to play saryn back on ps4 (controller is a pain) then switched to volt when switching to PC. I played with blue shards too when learning volt lol. Btw if you haven't done it already I advise you to read the PT guide linked in the description
@@endryx_ow I'm just having a quick read of it now! I notice it looks like I need to change ogris rivens to one that has Magazine, Damage and multishot (current is projectile speed, Damage, Multishot). Know if I need a specific grade/percentage on the mag stat to garuntee I get 8 shots with the build? Or will it be enough just as long as the mag stat is there?
@@lsaminatorl you don't need 8 mag, you can also play with the fractalized reset arcane and reload mid pylon in the first phase (you can watch vaeli's run to see how to do), it will let you put more fire rate or whatever QoL mod you want. But if you really want 8 mag the % shouldn't matter iirc
Amazing!
