Max hadn't been treating him very well for the last few years. Soulfly released a live album in 2020, and it sold well, but Marc barely got paid anything for it, even though he had been in the band for 18 years at that point.@@mazaarnaud9837

This guy isn’t a bad vocalists, but yeah he’s got a different sound/style that doesn’t really match. Also, it seems the dude just uses volume to compensate for when he can’t hit certain notes.
I don’t think he looks like Christian at all lol he doesn’t have dreads & their faces are totally different, plus sounds half as good as Christian & it’s very noticeable 😂

Tbh would be a smart move on his part, I think he fits Shattered Sun much better & the new Ill Niño material has been very sub par
