Playing one of my favourite songs from Yann Tiersen called "Summer 78", the main theme from the successful German movie "Good Bye, Lenin!" (2003). What a masterpiece! Yann Tiersen is also the man who composed the movie soundtrack for Amélie. I like his music.
It was a very special moment to perform this song live on the Red Piano in the centre of my hometown Berlin at Potsdamer Platz - Sony Center. I hope the people there enjoyed it as much as I did. 🎹

Ich höre seit 1984 Filmmusik und bin großer Fan dieser...den Film "Goodbye Lenin" kannte ich nur vom Hörensagen und somit auch die Musik von Yann Tiersen nicht.
Durch Ihre...Deine (ich hoffe das ist ok?) Interpretation muss ich sagen: mein Verlust. Diese Darbietung ist absolut grandios und so oft die ich in den letzten Wochen gehört habe, packt es mich noch immer und jagt mir Schauer über den Rücken!
Nachdem ich nun auch das Original kenne, muß ich sagen, dass mir Deine Version vor allem ab 01:49 Minute extrem gut gefällt...im Original sind da Streicher (Edit: es waren wohl Flöten) zu hören, wenn ich es noch richtig in Erinnerung habe - sehr gut gelöst.
Wunderbar interpretiert, gefühlvoll, einen sofort in Anspruch nehmend - was sich auch an der Reaktion des Publikums wiederspiegelt! Ganz toll gemacht!!!
