For me the whole point of the movie is that Kate’s simple good guy/bad guy perception of the world gets shattered and she realizes there are only shades of gray. In a sense she was the only true “good guy” in the movie. I feel like a really important moment is when the kingpin asks Alejandro “who do you think we learned it from?” as a reminder that the CIA regularly uses terrorist tactics. The movie doesn’t praise or glorify anything, it’s just a beautifully compelling look at an ugly reality and that’s why I love it.
That Puerto Rican guy Benicio Del Toro is a great actor, they really need to cast him more often, he has a face to remember. Good luck to him and his future.
He’s been famous for quite a number of yrs & is known for his phenomenal acting. It’s sad he isn’t making as many movies as he did in the 90s & early+mid 2000’s 🫤
He should be as famous as Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, not only he has similar features to them but also has that amount of talent and charisma. I will never understand why it didn't happened especially when he won an Oscar. Too bad that Denis didn't cast him in Dune franchise :(
