@@RevisionWithEve i would love to see that too! As I'm German it took me hours to understand that GCSEs are like mittlere Reife in Germany and Sixth Form is our Oberstufe 😂 would be really interesting
Anni Ka I’m also German haha and I think you get quite a good grasp of it because it’s basically the same here with MSA and Oberstufe like you said but I still got no idea how the system is viewed over there, etc.; so I would love a video like that as well!
Hi eve! I’m doing English lit and Spanish at a Level and would really appreciate a summary video on how you revised for these subjects throughout both year 12 and 13 because I have no idea how to revise for them!! ❤️❤️❤️
Eve!! Do you have a video for A-Level Lit that specifically talks about how you made notes about critics and their interpretations? Or does anyone else have any tips?
lillian When I read articles I make bullet points on key points they make that are relevant to me, then I highlight key quotes that I can link to my text and any points. Have a list/cards of key critical quotes and have on the back where you would use them. Don’t forget to have a source (e.g. writers name and or date)
This was a great video! On Skillshare, there is course by Thomas Frank called "Productivity Masterclass: Create a Productivity System that Works." I used it to help me start organising my work for A-Levels etc. You should check it out! Also, your New Year's Resolutions sound really cool. I'm excited to see your progression throughout the year. For going on your phone less, you could turn your phone settings to greyscale which makes it less exciting to go on. And delete any apps that are the main distractions. But yeh, just some tips I found useful. I love your videos and they're always so motivating.
Marija Paškevičiūtė well most clubs follow a dress code for their patrons and it’s very vague as to what counts I can’t get a straight answer from my local club
@@Mark-xg1if thanks for clearing that up, I thought you meant dressing right in order to stay safe, as in, not too provocative. And that sounds very wrong. But you didn't mean it, obviously :)
From a slightly older person - always cover your drink with your hand (put your hand over the top of the cup and hold it with your fingers (it doesn't look weird it just looks like you're holding your drink in a relaxed way) . If your alcohol is in a bottle, put your thumb over it so no one can spike your drink and never leave your drink unattended. If you left your drink somewhere don't drink it. Always have a designated driver before you go out and make sure you have enough money for a taxi if need be. Always let someone know that you're going somewhere so that someone can pick you up if anything goes awry. As far as clothes go there is no "right" way to dress (though some clubs have dress codes) so just wear what you're comfortable in. Most importantly have fun!
Omg you've motivated me sm! I failed my GCSE mocks and had given up on hw and school in general. I started watching your videos and realised I can actually pass my exams if I put my mind to it and I've made a revision timetable and I really want to try and boost my grades. Your an amazing person❤️
Random comment, but I kind of felt that way about my clothes as well, I had a bunch of stuff I didn't really wear... So I decided to actually go through my closet and separate all the things I wanted to donate. Best feeling ever, now I have more space and can actually see the clothes I do wear + other people will appreciate them more and wear them
Any tips on what revision techniques you used to remember things? Starting to revise now and wanting to know ways that you found effective which I could try. Love your videos ❤️❤️ xxx
If you want to reduce how much time you spend on your phone you should try the app yourhour it tracks how much you are on each app and tells you when it's becoming addictive and that you should leave your phone on the table x
this is a weird question but when you revise and for do you stay in your pjs to stay comfy or is it better to get dressed because it makes u feel more productive x
Girl i know you love the diet coke. But its actually worse for you than regular coke. Diet coke has artificial sweeteners instead of sugar which contributes to more weight gain. One of the main reasons people struggle to shift any pounds is because of carbonated beverages. If you try cut it down your teeth and body will thank you
Hi eve, thank you for this video I enjoyed it and your good at playing piano & your sister is brilliant at playing the guitar. It’s very sweet that you two can do something together that you both enjoy.
You know what i still can't get over how your birthday is one day after mine i just can't lool . Love you Eve seriously wish i knew you in real life . you have a beautiful personality :( and you're a true Capricorn which is the best star sign in my opinion.
Love all your videos literally sit on my phone for hour watching and rewatching videos mainly study with me’s there my favourite coz then I can actually be bothered doing something 😂❤️
Hey Eve, this seriously is the motivation I needed! I'm the same age like you, also in my first term at uni studying International Management and I have 8 exams in January and I feel like no matter how hard I work I just never feel like I'm well prepared, uni is so much harder than A-levels😑
Our New Years resolutions are so similar! With piano I have been playing for 5 years this month but I would love to try and get to grade 8 by the end of yr 13 (2020) if you want any ideas for pieces that sound fancy but aren’t too difficult then I can send some through (also if you wanna learn any random pieces of music but don’t wanna buy the music then check MuseScore - people share music and it’s free to sign up). I hope to keep to as many of my resolutions as possible!
I love using piano as a break from work ( I also play violin and tenor sax but don’t play them as much). I think it’s the only thing that got me through revision for GCSEs! Good luck with it! Will deffo help with keeping you off your phone as much x
Ellen McCarthy that’s still really good. I only did grade 5 last term so not sure if it’s possible. I had some issues with my wrist so couldn’t practise as much as I wanted to but still did ok so hopefully I will be able to skip 6 &7 because I don’t know if I’ll be able to carry on with a teacher easily when I go to university so want to try and get it done!
could you include a link for the piano, the book and the app thingy you used on your phone? I want to start practicing piano as well but I don't know where to start and I cannot afford a teacher or something similar #lifeofabrokestudent -.-
Loved this video ❤️ I've been learning the piano for a bit and once you've learnt the basic chords I would recommend the guitar chords and tabs app because it has chords for most songs and you can put it on autoscroll so there's no pages to turn. Also you can change the key to make the chords easier :)
I’d suggest that for another Billy Joel song that you want to learn on the piano could be movin’ out as it’s quite simple to play, there’s many UA-cam videos out there to help you play it.
Could you make a video about how you learn to play the piano or share which resources you’re using? I really want to learn how to play the piano as well! I just need to find a cheap keyboard or piano
