The early 2000s were definitely pretty good...as we headed towards 2010 though it was clear we were just running on fumes left over from the 80s and 90s as the pop culture decline began to worsen.

The release of LOTR for me as a 9 year old in 2000 changed my life. It was that entry from Peter than matured my taste. I cried the first time I saw an orc on screen and then I grew some armor and became a huge nerd and gamer. Just the hype around those films and the Cross over with gaming culture I think was a huge plus back then

Hold up...this Vice City PC review was narrated by Morgan in the "Games Your Mama Wouldn't Like" episode, but it's Adam narrating it in this one. Weird.

I'm confused why does this episode & episode 39 have the G4TV logo? Shouldn't all the early episodes be on TechTV? Seems Episode 40 starts the TechTV logo. Seems G4 acquired TechTV on March 25, 2004. But you labeled this episode to have aired on July 16, 2003. I'm just confused. Is this a rerun of the episode on G4 later or something?
yes, it is a rerun on the g4 network.
This rerun is from late July to early august 2004 based on the KOF Maximum Impact commercial
As well as the KOFMI commercial the Rock The Vote commercial would firmly put this in mid-late 2004.

Dose the chat agree about what they said about the ps2 vice city vs pc? I had this game in ps2 and Xbox , I remember the Xbox port looking and playing better . I wouldn’t stay vita that different for me to give it a lower score though .
Most of the time, if a game was released on PS2, Xbox and PC it was the PS2 version that tended to look/perform worse, followed by the Xbox and then PC being better/the best and tbh, it's been that way ever since. Sony have always made the Playstation an absolute pain in the ass to develop for and specs-wise it's typically always the weakest.
Technically, the game should have been called Billy Hatcher and the Gint Egg because the kids in the theme song did not spell the word "giant" right.
