Encre Noir is such a simple yet difficult fragrance. I gave it a try on a winter day and I couldn't wait to get home and wash it off. It gives the wearer no comfort at all. It's a valley of tears, sadness in a bottle. I tried to envision a situation where I can wear this fragrance and I came up with a hot summer day wearing a dark shirt, signaling everyone that I'm the villain in this story. It also makes me think of a funeral on a rainy day. So "the bad guy of Fantastic 4" and "smells like death" is a spot on description by Jeremy. That said, it surely smells sophisticated, elegant and unique.

Office doesn't smell like anything else in particular. The fruity opening reminds you of Aventus for maybe 15 seconds but then it's gone and it mixes with floral and woody notes

Ferrari Essence line is hard to find cheap now. I just picked up a used Essence Oud (90%) for $44 and I'm happy about that. Also got Cedar Essence used for $20 and I'm thrilled.
It’s a tobacco, boozey fragrance its an evening fragrance in my opinion and as a 20 y/o if your a mature and suit and tie guy you may be able to pull it of other wise I’d say late 20s and up

Aireney Kirkendoll how long does yours last? I bought it online a couple of weeks ago and I get 4 hours tops with it. Then I can only smell it if I put my nose directly onto my hand. It seems to also not project as well. Very strange 🤔

The first time I smelled Encre Noire it reminded me of a guitar maker workshop I visited when I was little, what can I say I like it, just wouldn't wear it.

Encre noir is not for everyone... Blind bought it cause of great revews but its true its something ive never smelled before it smells like dark ibk combined with old wood. Its not for those who are just beginning their fragrance journey the sport version is much easier to wear though.
