You're a very clever man. Love you're work. That middle space needs a picture of the wall it is hanging on. I think that would be a good bit of humour.
Hey 👋 I thinks it’s great your restoring the pianos I was just talking with an engineer buddy about the fact that a lot of music being recorded at the moment sounds the same due to fact we’re all using the same plug-ins and virtual instruments , Notting wrong with it but a great sounding room with a real piano or fender Bassman amp with some nice mics is a beautiful thing, probably the reason big studios will stay in business, well done sir .. keep it reel 👍👍
Really cool to see your collection!! Having a clavinet, a pianet and a Rhodes myself, I definitely hear differences between them and most of the samples/VSTs I know. It‘s the little quirks and noises that make them sound alive. Unfortunately I have no experiences in restaurating those lovely oldtimers …
To reduce the sideways motion on the fender rhodes you’ll probably need to adjust the front guide rail pins, not the balance rail pins (which you showed on camera).
You know what would be cool on the Rhodes cover... get some drum wrap material, like a blue or silver sparkle, and use it to cover that... cover. Sounds like you have some bad probably microphonic tubes in that other electric piano, and what sounds like a grounding issue.
It’s great to see the studio filling up with instruments and equipment 😄! Also the workshop (or at least the bench) is looking very clean - did the dust extraction fix work?
It really is coming together. Very exciting!

Looks fantastic! ❤
really looking forward to seeing this all progress. Gonna be such a cool place to make a record.

Maybe put an ukulele in the spot beneath the heat pump . 😉

God to have free space under the heater fan , the filter in it need to be cleaned from time to time so now easier access.

"Idea Farm" logo print on the wall under the mini split where there's no guitar would look sick.
