why is Shadow better written here than in the actual mainline games post 06?

Because SEGA couldn't give Sonic Team more time for that, let alone the game as a whole.

If only Shadow was written like this every game instead of a a hole who always wants to fight Sonic for no reason and insults him every chance he gets.

They didn't give Sonic Team more time for the game as a whole but the comment was including 06 as Shadow being well-written. They were asking why mainline games POST 06 weren't written as well for Shadow.
