I found him on the radio in 1985 and spent my entire day for many months and years with a Walkman in my ears learning everything he had taped when he taught at Calvery Chapel in Costa Mesa California. I was honored to attend a conference years later, and he allowed me to hug him. It was a special thing for me. He knew so much in the Bible that I had never heard before. I cut my spiritual baby teeth on his teachings. I know he is casting his well-deserved crowns at Jesus' feet.
I'm not sure he "needs" us to trust him as a need for him - rather it's a need for us to learn to trust him and follow where he leads in obedience and love. That to me shows our love for him and that's what he wants/needs from us. Like a father needs love from his child.
It is all about God's Love and we cannot out love God. He sent the Messiah (Jesus Christ) to open salvation through His Grace for ALL those who believe in Jesus Christ who was the lamb slain for the forgiveness of Sin. Just like the day of atonement - All sins were forgiven.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this. I can’t wait to meet Chuck in heaven! Chuck encouraged me to get back into the Word and I’m forever grateful for that ❤

God doesn't need anything, especially from us. He does want us to trust Him. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him..." (Hebrews 11:6). We were made to please Him (Revelation 4:11).
