I heard that Katra to Banihal line would be opened up for traffic in December 2022..so soon we might get direct connectivity from Srinagar to Kanyakumari..paving the way for more tourism in this region

From Anantnag is best. You might get share taxi from there. But only if you are solo or group of young lads than. Family May feel little uncomfortable as they might need preplanned stuff.
