Love this video! My intuition tells me that normally it takes many life times to clear ones karma and many challenges will be repeated until the lesson is learned. I think we have a better chance now to clear our karma more effectively because we dont have to deal with basic survival and we can go beyond that.

Heather, I have not commented on your channel till now. I began to study Astrology when I had so many ?’s rollin ‘ around in my head that I had to learn just what I could from it and perhaps find at least some answers. The Nodes were a puzzle to me yet, with this vlog I have some understanding. Yes, yes, yes! I have a natal South node in Cancer in the 11 th house and the North node in Capricorn ( Candycorn) in the 5 th house . Everything you said is spot- on . I have traveled a little from Texas to California when I was in my 20’s and eventually moved to California. I put the distance between my family of orientation and myself to give them relief and so I could find my strength, hope and faith. That would provide me with the basics needed to care for my children and myself. I have met people up here who I had past life connections with who were also past in this life connections. We were able to get a lot of “ stuff “ cleared up. I even told them that I didn’t want to meet with them in any other lifetime after this one. I have acquired several years of education in getting my G.E.D., Law, medical front and back office, and eventually earned an A. O. S. degree in Advanced Therapeutic Massage Therapy. - Where I live happens to have ♋️ on either its MC or Asc ( My South node). Texas is a double ♑️ state ( my North node). ... If I figured that right. Anyway, sometimes lately I feel about living here and at other times , I feel stuck. I have been thinking about relocating, not really certain as to where just yet coz my 2 sons who are old enough to be out of my nest are not. I feel that poses a problem for me because I cannot think clearly about my own needs due to theirs. North node in taurus in the 10th...yes ever since I've been away from family I've been going everywhere I can since they always stayed home. My parents never even went on vacations, they prefered to spend their days off work at home. I know they did their best and are better now that we see eachother less, but what was done was done. Not having the one actual home does stress me out though. Going to uni to develop my career was my reason for escaping. I really do flourish when I'm on my own and depending on mostly myself makes me feel secure. Getting a stipend was my number 1 priority in my teens since I didn't want to depend on my parents who made sure that I knew that I was a financial and energetic burden for them. Building a home and a family that is actually functional and loving is my goal and for that I need a career to sustain it. My chosen family means the world to me.

Mom has North node in Virgo. She is very much a health nut. Trans Plu in Sag was square her Sun/North node by conj and square respectively when she had a health situation which resulted in a life perspective change. She has focused on health matters since 👌🏿 I have North node in Gem in house 3. When transiting Plu was conj South node(Sag)/opp North node, I started University(9th house). That was a life perspective change. I loved being there. It was so "familiar" to me🤷🏿♂️. I think the 3rd house could also represent the commerce field or how you apply what you learned/qualified in in the real world etc. I am a little obsessed with getting my career "right". There have been many changes/upheavals and unpleasantness in this area. The ruler of the 3rd house(Merc in Cap) is in the 10th house quincunx/contra parallel North node.

Oh my gosh Heather! This explains SO MUCH for me!! My NN is in the first house and I was so obsessed about my friendships the last few years. I lost two friends of 30 years and continued to bash my head against the wall trying to figure out what the hell happened! And honestly after thinking about both situations it was for the same reason!!

Heather what system do you think is most effective? For solar returns I use placiduis but consider whole signs. I used to only consider whole signs but know I use that system because it seems to be more accurate for me.
heather this is great! waiting for more :)) how would you connect the nodes with placidus and whole signs system. for example in Whole sign system my NN is cancer 7th house, SN is capricorn 1st house. (I am capp ascendent). But in placidus NN falls in 6th house, and SN in 12th. Astrologers say that both system work. But for me it is pretty different. How do I blend NN 6/7house and SN 12/1st house into one thing I should go to/away from? Btw, have the nodal return, Pluto/Saturn on my ascendent and natal south node (broke both of my legs), squaring natal Pluto and saturn in the 10th house Libra (whole sign system, if I look placidus they are making a square from 12th to the natal planets in the 8th). I like to share, so people see what can happen with these transits. But it is sort of coming back to the roots and connecting with family, being taken care of by the family (cancer). An interesting thing. Most of the year I will spend recovering, and not working. If I can help, I would say that my focus in life has been focused on spiritual studies. I feel that is a natural fit for me. Social atmospheres are easier for me when I can connect with people of a deeper mind and I have teetered between having my own practice and working within the corporate structures. My NN is middle degrees Cancer in the 12 which also sit on my ascendant (late degrees). My current job is doing massage in a spa at a corporate run casino. It works for me. I have thought about working in a hospital medical spa. These are themes in which I connect this energy. When life feels intense, I use meditation and hypnosis, I’m also a clinical hypnotherapist, to ease the intensity of stress but I don’t necessarily feel that I escape from reality. Retreats are something I would love to host. Hopefully this is helpful when understanding creative and positive applications of this energy for anyone who feels concerned about. Without complicated this too much, if I use the whole house system, the NN falls in my 1st house, which also applies to my life; having difficulty with maintaining relationships and balancing time with the desire for self-development. I have recently become comfortable with the idea of being single and living my life not focusing on establishing a personal relationship.

My north node is in the 5th (Aries) and south node in the 11th (Libra). I’ve definitely had some very dated and karmic things occur with my children. My very first child (a son) died suddenly due to still birth. My second child was diagnosed with Autism at 12 months of age. Totally unexpected. I had a daughter, and then with my youngest son I began to develop the condition I had with my very first child. I was shocked. It’s not always been easy but I love my children so much and I pour so much of myself into them. The 11th house SN has always been strange to me lol. Another completely flipped on its head area of my chart. Lol North node leo 7th house south node Aquarius 1st House. Someone once described my natal chart as demonstrating a dual nature, could go either way. Got the MC and IC square the North and south nodes. Doesn't help me clarify anything whatsoever 🤣 Guess that's the old saturn jupiter conjunct to 1°in me chart rearing it's head
Phoenix I actually use both, each for a different purpose and will do a video on this shortly. But in brief, I use placidus for psychological interpretation or while using modern techniques and whole sign houses for predictive and more ancient, traditional techniques. This is what seems to work best in practice for me personally.

Interesting how you said this video was made in July 2019 which is one month before I met a man online I feel is my DM/twinflame. As you said it’s eclipse season as you record this so perhaps(looking back), that meeting was fated. And as I write this it is October 2021 and we are approaching eclipse season again(so perhaps it is a culmination of what happened in 2019).

You know, I never would have considered anything to do with the 12th house as my comfort zone, but I can see it as being familiar territory since in my last life I was arrested and imprisoned for a time, and that lifetime has a direct link to why I chose to incarnate into this life. It's kind of funny, both my current husband and my ex-husband have points in their chart that are conjunct my 12th house South Node and there are definitely some karmic ties and lessons with them. When it comes to my North Node in the 6th, I had readers telling me for years that I was a healer, but I never really got what they meant until my early 40s. @@izabelolivera6325 I just turned 48, so we probably are pretty close in our north and south nodes (NN Aquarius, SN Leo) I totally understand that pull to just dive into astrology all day, every time I think I've figured out a concept there's a dozen new things I want to go learn about. :) I've started incorporating some of my limited knowledge of astrology into my 6th house work. I'm a clairvoyant empath, and the healing work I've been drawn to tends to be emotional and helping others deal with their shadow side, and knowing what major transits are going on can explain a lot. I've especially seen people struggling through their Chiron returns, and being able to tell them that it's only a temporary cycle can be quite comforting.

Wow yes again soul sister. Dragons have featured heavily in my experience. In my youth it was Tolkein's Smaug, the hoarder of treasure, and terror of the people of the village on the water. Then in my teens an elder witch turned me onto a trio of books by Anne McCaffery, (did I spell that right?) the Dragon Singer series. The main character mirrored my childhood, where my unusual gift for musical instruments was put down as child stuff, not fit for a profession. For me it was cause I'm male, and my family only values warrior types, looks down on the arts. Humans are more articulate than that. Acting so much like apes is truly beneath us when we're integral. As to training wheels, oh yes. I was a young Sorcerer's Apprentice, calling up my monsters with gusto. Dragon rider training. It wasn't until my Saturn return time that in a dream I encountered a baby dragon in a garbage bin out behind a shopping mall, just after my first Tai Ji lessons with a Chinese master. Then when I was camped under some big Cascadian Cedars, my song craft newly reborn, I had a dream where my adolescent dragon was being chewed on by bigger, meaner dragons, toughening her skin. Them was some mean and dirty years. Now the dragon is me, I am the Dragon. Discipline is our devotion, the precondition for Beauty in the midst of Chaos. Our...yes, my human disciple is a multitude of bards, that Kala Sarpa thing, for me is a gateway to bring good medicine to this time. Chinese stuff is really good in this regard, way before Mao, though he did help codify their medicine in a way that it was acceptable, slowly, to the West. Tai Ji, Qigong, Bagua Zhang, foreign disciplines whose teachers I met in my home town, Dragon head in 3rd haus. A story by a sci fi fantasy artist entered my life and mirrored a process that consumed me, spit me out as a highly skilled live musician and astrologer, still phasing in the Tai Ji instructor. Yeah, dragon riding is a dangerous art, but unavoidable for ones like me, to live anything like a good life.

I have my North node in the 12th house and I am studying to become a nurses aid. Is that a good or a bad idea considering I will be working in an aged care facility or a hospital? I've really felt a pull in this direction so I will do it either way but will I find extra difficulties because of this axis?

Depending on where your nodes are placed by degree, Saturn may be nearing your North Node with Pluto, giving you that sense of being in sort of a stalemate. Things will let up after this year if this is the case ❤️

I put the distance between my family of orientation and myself to give them relief and so I could find my strength, hope and faith. That would provide me with the basics needed to care for my children and myself. I have met people up here who I had past life connections with who were also past in this life connections. We were able to get a lot of “ stuff “ cleared up. I even told them that I didn’t want to meet with them in any other lifetime after this one. I have acquired several years of education in getting my G.E.D., Law, medical front and back office, and eventually earned an A. O. S. degree in Advanced Therapeutic Massage Therapy. - Where I live happens to have ♋️ on either its MC or Asc ( My South node). Texas is a double ♑️ state ( my North node). ... If I figured that right. Anyway, sometimes lately I feel about living here and at other times , I feel stuck. I have been thinking about relocating, not really certain as to where just yet coz my 2 sons who are old enough to be out of my nest are not. I feel that poses a problem for me because I cannot think clearly about my own needs due to theirs. ( My older son, an ♈️ thought I didn’t remember him from a past life when I reminded him that if he didn’t get his life straightened out in this lifetime and with his brother he would end up back in that prison he was in in the last lifetime.) I know this info is not complete but it’s something. I hope it was enough to give you a glimpse of this end of the Zodiac spectrum and of me.A ♍️
North node in taurus in the 10th...yes ever since I've been away from family I've been going everywhere I can since they always stayed home. My parents never even went on vacations, they prefered to spend their days off work at home. I know they did their best and are better now that we see eachother less, but what was done was done. Not having the one actual home does stress me out though. Going to uni to develop my career was my reason for escaping. I really do flourish when I'm on my own and depending on mostly myself makes me feel secure. Getting a stipend was my number 1 priority in my teens since I didn't want to depend on my parents who made sure that I knew that I was a financial and energetic burden for them. Building a home and a family that is actually functional and loving is my goal and for that I need a career to sustain it. My chosen family means the world to me.

I have North node in Gem in house 3. When transiting Plu was conj South node(Sag)/opp North node, I started University(9th house). That was a life perspective change. I loved being there. It was so "familiar" to me🤷🏿♂️.
I think the 3rd house could also represent the commerce field or how you apply what you learned/qualified in in the real world etc.

Oh my gosh Heather! This explains SO MUCH for me!! My NN is in the first house and I was so obsessed about my friendships the last few years. For me I think of karma/time as an upward spiral-you are always ascending but it’s a constant uphill and you revisit situations/patterns because time is cyclical

For solar returns I use placiduis but consider whole signs.
I used to only consider whole signs but know I use that system because it seems to be more accurate for me.

(I am capp ascendent). But in placidus NN falls in 6th house, and SN in 12th. Astrologers say that both system work. But for me it is pretty different. How do I blend NN 6/7house and SN 12/1st house into one thing I should go to/away from? Btw, have the nodal return, Pluto/Saturn on my ascendent and natal south node (broke both of my legs), squaring natal Pluto and saturn in the 10th house Libra (whole sign system, if I look placidus they are making a square from 12th to the natal planets in the 8th). I like to share, so people see what can happen with these transits. But it is sort of coming back to the roots and connecting with family, being taken care of by the family (cancer). An interesting thing. Most of the year I will spend recovering, and not working. I guess i needed time off to regroup. ;-)) and what do you think abouth NN SN conjunction in synastry??(of course there needs to be other factors, but I look at it as the tail finding its head. If I can help, I would say that my focus in life has been focused on spiritual studies. I feel that is a natural fit for me. Social atmospheres are easier for me when I can connect with people of a deeper mind and I have teetered between having my own practice and working within the corporate structures. My NN is middle degrees Cancer in the 12 which also sit on my ascendant (late degrees).
My current job is doing massage in a spa at a corporate run casino. It works for me.
I have thought about working in a hospital medical spa. These are themes in which I connect this energy. When life feels intense, I use meditation and hypnosis, I’m also a clinical hypnotherapist, to ease the intensity of stress but I don’t necessarily feel that I escape from reality. Retreats are something I would love to host.
Hopefully this is helpful when understanding creative and positive applications of this energy for anyone who feels concerned about.
Without complicated this too much, if I use the whole house system, the NN falls in my 1st house, which also applies to my life; having difficulty with maintaining relationships and balancing time with the desire for self-development. I have recently become comfortable with the idea of being single and living my life not focusing on establishing a personal relationship.

Do you recommend Placidus or Whole sign system?
Phoenix I actually use both, each for a different purpose and will do a video on this shortly. But in brief, I use placidus for psychological interpretation or while using modern techniques and whole sign houses for predictive and more ancient, traditional techniques. This is what seems to work best in practice for me personally.

You know, I never would have considered anything to do with the 12th house as my comfort zone, but I can see it as being familiar territory since in my last life I was arrested and imprisoned for a time, and that lifetime has a direct link to why I chose to incarnate into this life. It's kind of funny, both my current husband and my ex-husband have points in their chart that are conjunct my 12th house South Node and there are definitely some karmic ties and lessons with them. When it comes to my North Node in the 6th, I had readers telling me for years that I was a healer, but I never really got what they meant until my early 40s. I'm a clairvoyant empath, and the healing work I've been drawn to tends to be emotional and helping others deal with their shadow side, and knowing what major transits are going on can explain a lot. I've especially seen people struggling through their Chiron returns, and being able to tell them that it's only a temporary cycle can be quite comforting.

Wow yes again soul sister. Dragons have featured heavily in my experience. In my youth it was Tolkein's Smaug, the hoarder of treasure, and terror of the people of the village on the water. Then in my teens an elder witch turned me onto a trio of books by Anne McCaffery, (did I spell that right?) the Dragon Singer series. The main character mirrored my childhood, where my unusual gift for musical instruments was put down as child stuff, not fit for a profession. As to training wheels, oh yes. I was a young Sorcerer's Apprentice, calling up my monsters with gusto. Dragon rider training. It wasn't until my Saturn return time that in a dream I encountered a baby dragon in a garbage bin out behind a shopping mall, just after my first Tai Ji lessons with a Chinese master. Then when I was camped under some big Cascadian Cedars, my song craft newly reborn, I had a dream where my adolescent dragon was being chewed on by bigger, meaner dragons, toughening her skin. Them was some mean and dirty years. Now the dragon is me, I am the Dragon. Discipline is our devotion, the precondition for Beauty in the midst of Chaos. Our...yes, my human disciple is a multitude of bards, that Kala Sarpa thing, for me is a gateway to bring good medicine to this time.
