Hi. I'm the original composer. Late to the party but really, you can't "remaster" something when you don't have the source files. The original tracks were mastered in 1997. Loudness changes in our industry over time. That's normal. So taken (even at lossless)files from the original CD, would never be a remaster. You basically "mastered' on top of the original mastering.
By the way, I shazamed this song and it comes up as ‘You Chose Death’ by D.I.V. with a picture of a skeletal bull and the letters ‘A.U.B.’ in red writing. Ive heard people say that it’s a Russian band and I googled it but can’t find it anywhere.

And yes, you can't remaster what has been mixed, mastered and shipped, you're playing with final products. If the final product is garbage, little to nothing can be done with "remastering". Although, I do like what was done here, sounds slightly more fresh and open. Thank you for your service!
One of my favorite PC games growing up and when I found out you could use the PC disk to listen to the soundtrack I played it nonstop lol. Sounds great! and thank you so much for sharing this with us all. 🙏🍻
