Season before last, Omar was a top five finalist on The Voice. He has featured with VoicePlay numerous times, before and after The Voice. Two of my favorites of those is Dragonborn Comes and Dream On. I can highly recommend both of those for your reaction. I find that I hear words for the first time with VoicePlay , even if I was sure I knew the song. That doesn’t happen with many other groups. But their words are always clear. (Except maybe on Hall of the Mountain King, which has no words. But they manage to tell a story anyway. Another great one to react to!)
This really is one of their best. Good stuff. Omar was on the Voice last fall and was in the finals. You can find him on his site.Omar is Cesar's best friend, his brother EJ Cardona is in the acapella band Voctave and occasionally sings with VoicePlay (Go the Distance, I Can't Make You Love Me). Ones that Omar has been in: Superstition, Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Dream On, with some minis: Special, Heaven, Manha Manha, These Boots Were Made for Walking and Beggin all with VoicePlay.
This is such a great one by VoicePlay, but then, they're all great. More recently, Omar did a few minis with VoicePlay, Heaven, These Boots Are Made For Walking, Special, and Mah na Mah na. All of them are fabulous. 😁
Geoff never ceases to amaze me with his bass guitar work as well as his voice. Eli, rock god, shines as ever, and Layne never fails to impress with his vocal percussion. J.None left the group in 2021 to sing with the US navy, at their request, but still reappears from time to time when he is on leave. Omar is the incredibly young looking one with a beautiful voice and has appeared with VP a number of times now.
Awesome reaction Josh. Omar sang with them in several of their videos. Dream On. Superstition. Dragonborn Comes Skyrim. As well as several minis/shorts. They have a lot of those to check out as well. Usually they do a couple with each artist they feature. Minis are videos or parts of videos that are 1½ minutes or less. Most reactor do 2-3 in the same reaction.
Thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. I love watching you react to Voice Play. You have an awesome smile. Would you please, please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of " Peaches " ( Bowser, Mario, Luigi & Toad )? Geoff really unleashes his inner Rock God in this one. Look out Eli, Geoff is coming for you lol. At the end one of Layne's daughters makes a cameo appearance as Peaches. It was originally done by Jack Black. Geoff from Voice Play really rocks it out.
Thanks for the great reaction! I love this one, because I always have to remind myself there AREN'T real drums, that's it just Layne being amazing. I think Sam and Dean would approve.
This is a huge one to tackle, and they are more than up to it. Their cover of Imagine Dragons' "Warriors" is equally impressive: ua-cam.com/video/DNh6_XubM2A/v-deo.html Love your reaction - thank you!
This is fair. But as a Classic Rock fan, I prefer the original. Kansas is one of the greats. Along with Styx, Boston, and the Moody Blues. And so many more from that era.
Omar has a terrific voice, and they do make sure that everyone has a chance to shine. But Eli took the cake here, his rocking beast mode is a doozy!!

Omar was also in Dream On. Great reaction, thanks
My favorite thing about this group is that everyone gets a chance to show their specialty or their vocal talent!

they always put their own spin on a song ❤🏴
One of my VP favorites! Great reaction!
They also did a version of Running Up That Hill a la Stranger Things. What I think is one of their best is their cover of Nothing Else Matters.

Ohhh this song takes me back! These guys crushed it...took it to a whole other level! 👍😁
Such a great cover/upgrade! Omar has done a few videos with them worth watching.
I always love the latest cover by VP the most. Then I fall back on this video by them as the all time favourite.
Lots of reasons to love this one. SPNFamily represent!

Yes!! More VP reactions is always a good choice... new song coming soon. Awsome... 🎉😂❤
It's been a while since I've heard this one from vp and I forgot how much I love it 💜💜
It's #TheatreKidsOfACapella. Omare has been in four videos and a few of their mini-videos, and his brother EJ has been in two.
Awesome reaction Josh.

As a avid Kansas fan, i think they did justice to this classic. Their version of Dream On tops this, you will enjoy that one.

Have you heard their cover of Eleanor Rigby? Absolutely blew me away!
Dan Vasc and Voice Play in the same day. That's a score
Have you done VP Tennessee Whiskey?

Agree.
Vocally, they are good, but this is SUCH an ICONIC song. It’s a hard one to cover.
A cappella. lol. Not cappello. 😂
