I appreciate the Elder's take on the issue but he's wrong because according to the Bible, Eve was actually CREATED for the marriage. Now, when you consider what goes into the creation of a carbon copy of the Creator Himself, you realize the magnitude of the RITUALS that were employed to manifest that creation for the sole purpose of their marriage. So Opanyin is wrong on so many levels on this one. Genesis 2:20-22 But for Adam, no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he TOOK one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. According to you, Abraham was punished because he and Sarai violated the Levitical law in chapter 18. The Levitical morality laws were given to the Children of Israel during exodus before entering the promised land. At that time Abram and Sarai were long gone. The Children of Israel were the descendants of Jacob - Abraham's grandson. Certainly, the Levitical law in Chapter 18 does NOT support what you are teaching.
