I used to struggle so much with Guardian Ape, and then playing it soon after beating Consort Radahn, I beat it in one try and I felt like I was doing the whole ass "I thought you were stronger..."
My favourite part of this encounter is the solo vocal dropping "Ma-Ri-Ka" in the 2nd phase when the instrumentation calms down for a moment. It's extremely powerful, but I'm not surprised the boys and so many others missed it because armageddon was going off on your eyes and ears the whole entire fight.
so when i fought this boss on my second run of the dlc he went into his second phase and did the psyco crusher move and launched himself off the map and died, and i won it felt so bad that i respawned him with cheats
Pre-patch the NPCs were basically hitting him with toothpicks due to the scaling (they fixed that before the current patch where Radahn is easier to see and all that). When I dropped them, I beat him in a few tries lol.
As much as I loved Ansbach, I had to stop summoning him because of the health boost Radahn got, but also because I got tired of hearing "General Radahn, it's pleasure to see you again after all this time..."
@@DDespicable I can understand that too, but the damage they were dealing was so minimal the scaling made them borderline useless, as by the time you got to the second phase (if they lasted that long due to his high HP) they would die soon after and leave you with him being jacked and no back up lol.
It's interesting that on paper most people will answer they want what Ranni is offering but there's a a group of people who are not a small group that would take the Mickey deal a world where you don't have to think
Damn even NERFED this boss is absolute cancer. Fr tho full disclosure I beat him pre nerf and it literally killed any love I had for Elden Ring as a game. Sucks to say but this boss wasn’t fun for me. Watching Woolie emotionally erode during these attempts gives me sad flashbacks of what was one of my most hellish stream experiences. In the words of Dartigan: “Fuck this boss fight.”
Might be the first time in playing games that I learned "you know, maybe it's fine to not beat every game I play for the sake of my sanity. At some point, I'm just fighting for the sake of it". And I didn't. That was my break from Souls games.
Yup, this is easily the most bullshit fight ever made by From Software even with nerfs. Visually cool but not really. I wish it was another character as "the last boss" but that is not the point. Mechanically they just decided to press the "whatever" button.
everyone who beats him beats him, period. unless you want to actually want to play this game then you didn't *actually* beat him unless you're not using an op meta build, and even then you didn't *actually* beat him unless you beat him no hit, etc, etc, etc. A win is a win.
Bloodhound Step was genuinely fucking him over more than helping him at some points. He could've dodged a bunch of Radahn's combos better with the regular ass roll
@@Personell101 Yeah, pretty much. Very telegraphed swings that still don't leave much room for regular R1s are perfect for setting up a really powerful guard counter with the deflect tear.
After beating radahn with no summons, every boss in previous souls games feels like they're moving in slow motion.
I played bloodborne for the first time after beating this unholy DLC and coasted through it. It's crazy how much more challenging bosses can be made

That's very high signs of burnout. I genuinely recommend putting a break for a bit, otherwise, things will start feeling like a routine.

I believe in you Radahn
Just started watching but I can't wait for Pats message to be like Kai Leng email levels of mental damage
Waiting for Zach levels of "FUCK YOU Kai-!"
Real time version of Fume Knight, let's go.

You're better than me. I would have just taken the win.
If anyone ever sees Woolie at a con and if you're dressed as Radahn, just walk slowly at him from a distance. He'll get flashbacks.
When Radahn started flying around and shooting beam attacks, did any one else think this boss design might have started as an armored core boss?
He really gets chunky when you have a full squad summoned, huh?
I finally beat him because I remembered summons mean he gets more health.
Pre-patch the NPCs were basically hitting him with toothpicks due to the scaling (they fixed that before the current patch where Radahn is easier to see and all that). When I dropped them, I beat him in a few tries lol.
@Dragonsmana I mean with a bleed and poison applying npc to back us up i kind of understand if they gave him a bit more than usual.

He was fearless and crazier than him. He was his consort, and Greater Will help anyone who dared to disrespect his consort

All I need to know is if he got the grab attack death
Sadly no
let's not let him forget, he's fighting the nerfed version of him.
How much pussy did you get from beating him pre-nerf?
Reggie: Busting out 'The Smiths' right at the start of the boss fight does not send a positive message about your chances.
Ride!
Congrats to woolie, he did it with a worse build than most
wait this is a banger title

anyone know if he ever got the hug death? guessing probably not since blocking isn't part of his kit.
He didn't.

No views in 40 seconds, bro fell off
Nah, most people watch this first on Twitch and then rewatch it here later. He's doing just fine.
I cant believe you beat him nerfed
? Why

@@DemonFireRain he’s doing the joke Pat made in Woolie’s chat. It’s not that deep.
@@Personell101 didn't see that, but my comment stands for anyone pulling the pre-nerf elitist bullshit
i genuinely expected him to beat him easily with that bloodhound step
