Hey Cuba, I got a question, don’t know if you’ll see this, but I’m currently looking at these 2 chains, ones a 5MM Franco and the other is a 4.7MM Franco, and my question is: is there any Noticeable difference between a 5MM and a 4.7MM Franco or does the 4.7 look like a 5MM/do they look the same?
That's going to be almost impossible especially to the naked eye or in passing... average person isn't up on game like that...but I'll give you a little insider info a lot of ppl don't know unless you work in jewelry. It's tough work but someone's gotta do it lol.... your 5mm Franco is technically a 5.1mm Franco link and your 4.7 is technically 4.8mm. Every chain that is made in Italy is based on gauges not MM, some people sell the same chain as 5mm or 4.7mm. The 0.1 is added to the side thickness of the chain.
Doesn't really answer your question but just a bit of a insider info...but to answer your question like I had earlier noooooo one is going to 0.3mm.... that I can promise lol
