You may not like a piece by Schoenberg, but to call anything of this craftsman's composition "dreck" only casts aspersions on your insensitivity and rudeness. He worked too hard on his music to have this epithet cast on him.
Barátom,ne írjál baromságokat!!!Ezt a darabot Bartók nem tudta már megírni.Serly Tibor írta neg az egész művet, skiccekből,vázlatokból,Hagyjál békén minket,magyarokat,pajtás...OK????
You are absolutely wrong. I have the facsimile of the manuscript and have studied it for 20 years: Bartok composed the Concerto. Serly had a great deal to do to render it suitable for performance, but he did NOT compose it. You're entitled to your opinion but not your own facts.
Amazing! Undoubtedly my favorite version.
thanks for this - John
I hope I'm not weird but I love how vampiric it sounds
Yea I hear that too! It almost sounds mysterious
Too bad, they didn't choose to play the Csaba Erdelyi restoration of this concerto, which much closer to the ideas of the composer.
This recording was made a lot of time before the Erdelyi restoration was even a thing
I was listening to some dreck by Schoenberg and fled here for respite! Thanks BLOP888 .
