I am absolutely loving the V for victory garden. Im sure my wife is sick of hearing it at this point but man has it got me thinking of some good upsycling ideas and dollar saving ideas. Love your work marty!!
Yummy, fresh pesto. "V" for Victory. I use herbs for healthy teas, i don't know what herbs are good for certain ailments so i just put some fresh leaves of sage and i like lemon basil. If the straight herb tea is too strong i just steep the leaves then i put in a normal teabag of your liking for a very healthy and probably very beneficial herb tea. I use my coffee plunger to steep the herbs for about ten minutes. Happy gardening everyone around the world, Green love from Queensland Australia 💚🌲🌏🙏✌️
Morning Aaron, you will be glad to know I had a mini surf yesterday on sunrise at the Wreck in Byron. Very small but I still got a few and enjoyed a magic sunrise! Have an awesome day bro
@martysgarden stop it, nice. I'm watching a Bob McTavish interview right now. Do you ride a shortboard or Longboard or both ? I'm aiming for my first paddle out very soon hopefully before Christmas. Until then have a wave for me, next time. 💚🌊🤙
Marty your Victory Garden is such an inspiration for people struggling- boxes are free -yes maybe have to purchase some soil but then off you go. I started 11 years ago with a Birdies 4ft x 4 ft raised bed & plants from bunnings & you have never seen so much come out of that bed. I then got bitten by the growing bug & look at me now- you would be bloody amazed . Cheers Denise at Geebung😃😃
That really is the best POV, like an FPS farming game :) Ty 4 the knowledge. Cool bottle. I normally just poke a few holes in the lid and it comes out in a spray pattern like your fancy one.
I’m in Sydney, grow in pots as I’m still renting. Basil grows like a weed for me. If you’re in Sydney I can get more Basil seeds to you than you can use. I saw your packaged seeds and felt dirty. Good stuff though. I just plant basil with every tomato and never fail.
How do you collect the seed Marty? I've started growing basil for my pizza so your video is really useful. ATM when I cook pizza I cut a basil stem...use the lower leaves for the pizza and just leave a few at the top. I then put the stem into a glass of water and am hoping it will sprout roots. Forever pizza and basil.
You know im looking at this from a point of eating what i grow. But we can sell, swop or give away what we grow Marty. V for victory from South Africa.
Riper short info-packed clip Haveheaps of BASIL including THai and lots of pesto in the freezer as donate jars to St Vinnie's to go with pasta donations Also the Salvos use it on their free meals etc I down load your Clips and they play them on the TV screen in their halls increasing your reach if not helping U tube stats though but passing on your hardwork . 8 more days until I pull this years garlic keep on keepinh on ace
@ establishing a shared area garden on my property. I’m disabled but I have a lot of gardening area going to waste. I don’t want to give my location away beyond the city. If you know of anyone who could be vouched for who just needs the space to grow food crops I’d love to help them out.

Those basil plants sure look pretty. I don't eat basil though. But it's worth growing just for that vibrant green color. Marty keep going.
Lots of varieties and scents too that you can grow. Bees love them also

Thanks, viewers are enjoying the POV style, brings you right into the experience, yes?
@@martysgarden 100%. Question I don't think I seen you say anything about this. Do you feed them nutes at all when using coco?
@@mrsmith5114 The coco is just the top layer to place the seeds in. The base is compost
Love the basil and also the little watering bottle cap.
Looks like you're going to be having pesto pasta for dinner haha
Yep, lots of Pesto soon! Thanks for watching.
I use those Aussie Garener bottle cap sprinklers. They are awesome!!
Luv mine
🎉great info

Pots for renters is the go for sure, especially with herbs

I will create a vlog on that in the future on how to collect the seeds. I have some plants in flower down the back yard in the bale garden.
@martysgarden awesome thanks Marty.

Hey Marty, I'm curious about your watering process. Seems like it's something we don't get to see.
