something that was not clear to me. If you have 4 dimm modules and 2 cpus. do you still put them on the first 4 whites? or do 2 whites on cpu 1 and 2 on cpu 2? I'm not sure i understand if the ram is shared or allocated per each cpu. great informative videos!
Hi i have hp prolaint dl 380 genplus server which have 1 cpu installed and 32 slots are there I have 4*32 gb RAM Which slots i have to install the RAM?
Hi, thanks for the video, I have DL380 Gen9, with 16x8GB=128G. I want to maximize and want to use rest 8 blue slots. Can I buy 8x32GB to combine with? will it work? thanks in advance
Yes. Must be same type. Cannot mix LRDIMMs with RDIMMs. Contact sales@cloudninjas.com and we can quote you some options and make sure compatible with your current memory. Note: Will clock down to slowest speed installed.
Thank a lot.
Appreciate the positive feedback!

2 per CPU in first 2 white slots on each CPU.
We also have 100+ DL360 and DL380 GEN9 in stock if needed. Can custom configure. Have a nice weekend.
I have 4 RAM modules of 32 GB. In which slots should I install? Should I install 2 RAMs for each CPU?
Correct. First DIMM slot of the first 2 memory channels for each CPU. Smash that subscribe.

I have 12 RAM modules of 16GB 1RX4, will this works?
Assuming DDR4 and correct speed then yes. Based on rank I'm guessing you have 2400MT/s.
ឆនឹង
1600 is not ddr4, it is ddr3
Yes but DDR4 with low end procs... and fully populated memory channels can clock down to 1600 or 1866.
Lol minimum clock down is 60 mhz like edoram 16 bits
