You've defended its importance and centrality to the UK like a soldier and I commend you! I always find it extremely strange that people keep overlooking the nation's second city. Even in London, there are literally ZERO streets named after Brum or Brum areas whereas every other place around the country (and other countries) gets a mention. I still haven't worked out why that is. Adding to your brilliant list, I'd remind people that The Shire from Lord Of The Rings is based on the green spaces of Birmingham where JRR Tolkien grew up. Birmingham's jewelery quarter is the biggest and most important in Europe as all silver, gold and diamonds would not be recognised unless assayed there. Birmingham is also the only city apart from the capital city to have its own philharmonic and ballet companies---sure signs of cultural significance and vitality. Birmingham is the best, i have lived in London but i love Brum, put it simply they have the best of everything but also a laid-back lifestyle, and you guys have covered just a very very small % of Brum there's a lot to explore

I live a on in an area where it's mostly white. I'm a Muslim Pakistani and I've never had an issue with anyone where we live. We all get on. Friendly and kind just as it should be. Then you go to other areas and the atmosphere is ABIT different. But overall the UK ain't that bad. Its pretty tolerant I must say.

Come on the boys. Been waiting for you to head to brum. You've picked up on some absoloute gems mate especially rude boy Andy Low and Slow. You could easily fit in another trip covering the outskirts of brum which contain some more gems especially Carter's in Moseley. My favourite channel for advice on places to eat when I visit different parts of the UK. Amazing production and presenters. Bang on.

I was in brum for a decade and obviously knew most of these, but you found some gems. Used to live near simpsons and thought it was a hotel, didn’t know there was a restaurant there! Also hockley social club sounds like something horrid with cheese rolls and a pint of mild…but who would have known old hockley would get gentrified lol

As someone who has lived in birmingham all my life I have never actually been to a lot of those places. Some of them I didn’t even know about. I can definitely say that Gaijin is really good. There used to be a sushi place in the Birmingham Indoor Market called Otoro Sushi, which was also very good.

Grand central kitchen which is right next to York's also sells some delicious food and it tends to be way more packed tbh

The reason a lot of White People moved out of London is that they are working class and were priced out of owning a house in Central London because yuppies priced them out and which is the reason now that a lot of Londoners are moving to Birmingham as even a top class house in Sutton Coldfield or Edgebaston in Birmingham with the cost of commuting on a train to London is far cheaper than living in London and whether Southerners or Londoners like Birmingham or not is their problem mate as Brummies are not keen on Londoners either, yet in the early days, the Tube would not of operated with out Birmingham as the Tube Trains were built in Birmingham.
