I'm also pretty sure there are laws preventing them from treating protected political speech as a crime.... Laws mean little to a government who genuinely believe themselves to be above them.

It's very common to see atf agents showing up at people's homes asking them insanely inappropriate questions about recent gun purchases. I don't doubt the FBI would show up at people's houses asking them insanely inappropriate questions about political speech.

I would call my sheriff. These guys seem like they need to be arrested themselves for trespassing, harassment, & Violating The Constitution. And if they are really Feds, they should be sued into oblivion. Particularly directly from the people who sent them, the Biden Harris Regime. And rather than Taxpayers paying for the Lawsuits, all involved must pay out of their own pockets!
Those are not FBI agents. They would have no problem with showing their IDs. The fact that the one guy had to look up the phone number tells it all.

You won't believe how much America has been captured by a foreign entity. And so-called civil servants in parts of government perform duties that are totally foreign to american interest. And those agents just fit that depiction. We are at a late hour, let's just pray for this great country.

In general, yes. But some speech is not protected. Without knowing what was posted, there is no way to draw any conclusions.

The self proclaimed FBI agents should not hesitate to show her their ID as many times as she wants and to let her photograph them. If there is a potential doxing problem someone needs to figure out how to avoid it while keeping federal officials accountable. She at the minimum needs to be able to record badge numbers.
It seems domestic anti-terrorism efforts are going after the people who are least likely to give them an unpleasant experience, much as too many CPS workers go after middle class parents to avoid unpleasant confrontations.
You can’t simply dox a public employee whose information is public. They’re public servants, not private citizens
@@rarefruit2320 Public employees, even FBI agents, have private lives, often including family. If their full names and status as public employees are published on the Internet, some fool or villain _will_ dox them.
Citizens need a way to verify that a public employee, particularly in law enforcement, is in fact who they say they are.
Their excuse was, "we already did (show them)" and then each time she asks they continue to repeat that and continue to still not show them like in an attempt to belittle her or push her buttons.... what a way to serve American citizens...oh... that's right... they no longer work to protect us but to shore up crooked Joe Biden's communism rollout.

I have done quite a bit of extremely deep study into Constitutional Rights and written laws. Laws are, in fact, made to violate and/or limit your civil rights!

When in act of legal duty even the FBI is "required" to properly identify themselves. Saying "we are officers of the FBI" does not mean you are telling the truth.

Ask for badge numbers, names, biz card with supervisors phone number. If it checks out, why not hear what they have to say? You don’t have to answer any questions you’re uncomfortable with answering. Or, schedule a meeting in their office and bring an attorney. They may be after something having nothing to do with you personally. What’s unsettling here is there’s three of them, no badges or ID, no biz card with name and number of supervisor that you can verify yourself, no offer of coming to FBI headquarters at a later date on your terms,etc. And to immediately start in on “ your facebook posts”. Suspicious indeed.

Why was she even talking to them. Tell them to get off of your property unless they have a warrant, and call the local cops if they don't get off of your property. Real FBI agents would not break the law by trespassing, so if they don't leave, why would anybody believe they were real FBI agents? Anybody can make a fake badge and ID.

When Trump was in office several of us who live near the CDC were joking online about his (now infamous visit) to the facility in a Neighborhood network platform. Whenever a president visits traffic for miles around is gridlocked and we had to plan our workday and moves around this traffic. The next day when I arrived home from work three large black SUVs were parked in my driveway. They were agents from the Secret Service. They interviewed me, my wife, photographed me, my license plate, and created a file on me "just for their purposes" they would not share it with others. The harmless, joking posts about egging Trump's vehicle were pulled and the last words from the agents were "we do this all day, everyday." No one advocated violence. This is what I fear may become common place if Trump is returned to office. And I will not cooperate with any visitors again. I am still trying to get information about the file under the Freedom of Information Act. My Congresswoman said she could do nothing.
Well, this is happening under Obiden's watch. And, the FBI isn't the only agency attempting to violate people's rights.

The fact that you made a reference to egging Trump's vehicles is the reason why they visited you, whether you were joking or not. That is an implied assault. In this political climate, that wasn't very smart. That WILL get you a visit from Secret Service bc they can't afford to have a sense of humor, now can they? This country has changed however I think these tactics have always existed. It just never hit our doors personally. There are some ppl in our families of older generations who tell the same stories.

Not a 1st admendment issue if you threaten criminal activity even on a public social medial platform you can not break the law you cannot threaten crimes. We never see what she said so we have no idea if this is an affront or not just conjecture. If the post were not illegale why not show them.

Why not include that info in the video as making the case against her and boost their justification for being there for those who watch the video. Strange that didn't happen.

It 100% depends on what she said. I’m all for freedom of speech, but there are some things that are not included under the first amendment. Without knowing what was posted, we cannot make it fair assessment as to the validity of that visit.
If you’re going to talk about this stuff, at least be fair and honest about it.

This is not a good Free Speech case because Facebook is not, as she says, a public space, and because Federal law has several holes in it which erode strict free speech, not least, child pornography and specific death threats. Greenberg does not help out here because he does not introduce political content until the end, but is vague on the nature of it -- does her postings on the middle east contain potential threats? We do not know, and presumably that is what the FBI officers were there to ascertain. If the pubic wishes, they can write congress to change the laws on pornography and terrorism. Until then, such belligerence as shown by the camera holder could, under other circumstances, inflame the situation and lead to real physical harm.
I agree that it depends on what she actually said and that the first amendment is not absolute, but I don't think the agents had any right to get violent due to how she was acting. She was behaving reasonably enough.
@@jacobscrackers98 Agree. I don't think she was being belligerent. She just isn't very articulate or highly educated in the social graces. Still, it's better just to politely decline to talk to law enforcement unless you specifically want to help them investigate a crime committed by someone else.

There r laws about videoing or photographing LEOs on duty here and lots of ppl in our govt want more restrictions. We are 2nd to last in EDUCATION...
