man so glad you did this mix. there was once the whole sondtrack and than it was gone from youtube. wish some rich man could build the blue thunder again and fly it on air shows. subscribed
ZLAKO ZILLA Thanks for the Great comment Zlako. I completely understand,....thats exactly what happens on UA-cam. This already has matched 3rd party attached to it. As Ive said in my description box on my scoreboard upload,...It seams like its all just a matter of time before everything gets muted, deleted or blocked. Sucks. Ive already had yo do that to a few of them, and it really bums me out when they are popular with fans. ...anyway,...Thanks again, and I'm so glad you enjoy it.;)
CINEMOTIONS of course i know him. never thought thet its from him. sounds too dark compared to his usual style. no problem man thanks. so i have to watch the movie scene hundret times and can enjoy the scene and the track. who knows maybe there is some kind of maurice jarre - movie compilation somewhere
It's kind of funny. I read that Malcolm McDowell has severe acrophobia. So his wife at the time stated that she was impressed that the director got him in the cockpit of a helicopter when she couldn't get him on a plane.
And it was the better movie. Airwolf boring Canyon fights. Blue Thunder? A city full of people and they start a war in the city. Blue Thunder is amazing, can't imagine that they could produce such a movie again.
Have you ever wondered why "Airwolf" was restricted to non-populated areas? It was because A) it wasn't an urban/police aircraft, B) Airwolf was a top-secret weapon not to be seen in public, and C) after Vic Morrow and 2 children were decapitated by a Huey helicopter on the set of "Twilight Zone: The Movie", two years after "Blue Thunder" wrapped filming, there wasn't a chance the FAA were going to approve aerial shooting seen on "Airwolf" over metropolitan districts. That and what they did on the show was far from boring. You only had to watch the "Thunder" spinoff series to see how dull and pedestrian *their* sequences were, both in the country and city.
Very insightful facts you shared, such ashame about those children and that actor, what terrible way to die. May they rest in peace and never be forgotten.
@@AirwolfArchive Yeah, _Airwolf_ was made in answer to the BT series, and Bellisario did a wonderful job. The _Blue Thunder_ film is a completely separate thing, so I don't consider _Airwolf_ a rip-off.
Roy played a pilot probably better than anyone ever has. Great movie. Truly an underrated classic. Wonderful soundtrack, too.
Best helicopter based film of all time, period.
Saturday night fever, short circuit, war games and Blue Thunder... can we just talk about what an amazing director John Badham is?
I agree 💯
This is my favorite movie of all time. And Roy Sheider flew the Blue Thunder with skills
I had the opportunity to become a friend of Arthur B. Rubinstein. His work influenced my music I wrote for Resident Evil 6.
I always liked Wargames and this one. He managed to make the synth and orchestral parts of the score mesh so well.
Awesome movie with awesome actors. Roy and Malcom were fantastic in this.
I was just 11 when I saw this, & it was rated as R13 in New Zealand--has to be my favourite movie...
This is amazing! First time accessing the score!

I will be that mad man. Always keeping an eye out for a Gazelle helicopter on the cheap so I could convert it and hear a mouse fart from 2000 feet
"Don't give me any static lady. This is a police emergency. Get me KBLA TV right now!"

3:21 when the Littlebird hovers in and Cochran slides his flight helmet on. Perfect showdown.

Blue Thunder is the predecessor to Air Wolf.

Mike Otto Nahrgang Especially with that helicopter, it would purely all be cgi today.
