Welcome to crazytronics friends
in this tutorial we will learn about IR sensor and its working so watch complete video for better understanding of IR sensor.
in this video we will find out following points
1. what is IR sensor ?
2. how IR sensor works ?
there is 3 important points that you need to remember in IR sensor , for knowing this points watch video till last .

How to distinguish from a mixture of IR's, whether it is LOW active or HIGH or active sensor? Thanks in advance.
You have to check it individually
How to check ir sensor individually

Thanks for this. Please can you tell me why when I go towards the sensor it switches off, and when I move away it switches on. Is there a way of reversing this. Thanks
It will be active low IR sensor
Hi
Thx for the video

can we measure distance with this type of sensor
No it’s only detects objects can’t measure the distance
@@crazytronics9917 ok thank you i have been commented to many people and only you replied, currently I'am making a micro mouse for a competition I'am going to use stm32 and distance ranging sensor can you please help me
@@siddharthanpradeep-jx5pk sure i can
Brilliant 👌
Thanku sir❤
Sir my second led IR sensor module is not glowing.
When I put my hand in front of the IR sensor it is not showing any indication.
Plz help, i am subscribing your channel
Try with rotating potentiometer
@@crazytronics9917
Already done that, module is heating so much
@@studilize then it’s defected unfortunately
Hlo Bhai iss type ki vdo kaise bnate ho plzz bta do 🙏
How to know whether is it active high or active low sensor, when it is look like same?
Check it individually
@@crazytronics9917 if I need active high, then what should i do if shopkeeper give active low?
@@mkbiswas2000 no need to buy new IR sensor
Just change your program ,
In your program where you have write conditional statement for IR sensor Replace High to Low in there
@@crazytronics9917 i dont use it audrino , i use it simply a relay to on off
Agar 3.7v in put de to work karega
Yes
Bhai ir sensor kam nahi kar raha hai to karna hoga
@@chandrashekhar-dr3vl ek bar potentiometer ko adjust krk dekho agr kaam nhi kiya to new Lena padega

Hello bro my mq2 gas sensor is not working on buzzer
There might be any connection issue check it again

wrong information - IR sensor is not used for motion detection.
It can if you want. Depend on your code
Realy kase lagana
you have to build an additional circuit for that or you can also connect relay with arduino
5cm re jyada hai
It's sufficient
Evryone asking about ACTIVE LOW or ACTIVE HIGH. It depends on which crappy version you bought. These are terrible components and very unreliable for more than the 5cm that is mentioned here. However it is easy to tell which you have. Simply power up the device with 3v3 to 5v0 and measure the OUT pin as you are bringing some very bright object into range. As he says, BLACK object is not good. I use a reflective metal like aluminium. Obviously, if you are measuring HIGH when your object is within range, then your code will need to accept that as "object in range" otherwise LOW will determine an "object in range." These are cheap and really do not work as they are advertised. They say 5cm to 70cm. I laugh. I can not get these to work barely beyond 5cm. But for certain applications they are perfect for the price. Good luck my friends !
very hard to understand
