My favourite thing about this series so far has BY FAR been the commitment with which Damien plays the Richard character. Not to take anything away from the other actors (as it honestly doesn't make it any less funny or enjoyable), but they mostly give me that vibe that people acting in a comedy generally have. Whereas Richard just feels realised as fuck, like I'm watching him in a prestige drama or something. I find him and his antics utterly captivating to watch.
